We recently had some freeze damage to the sprinkler system which had a pin hole leak but we could not identify where. I contacted Sunset Irrigation because it was highly recommended, and Sean was fantastic! He quickly identified the problem with the crack behind the backflow preventer and took time to repair the leak and install a shut off valve and a new Febco backflow preventer so it'll be easier for winterization next time. I am grateful he took his time and showed me all the settings on the sprinkler system. I am also thankful that he rearranged his schedule to fix it that afternoon. He also did a bunch of other things that was above and beyond like, testing my sprinkler system, adding the shut off valve in the ground, and going through the whole system with details and explaining exactly what he was doing. I had an issue with one of my zones not coming up and leakage in other areas. I contacted Sunset Irrigation and spoke with Sean. Sean was kind enough to find the time to come to my home on a busy day and take a look. Since I am completely ignorant to fixing anything to do with the sprinkler system I was truly expecting him to tell me my entire unit was screwed and that I would need to repair it for an astronomical cost. I am happy to report that Sean of Sunset Irrigation does not take advantage of our lack of knowledge. Sean came to my home, inspected the system, diagnosed, and fixed it all in a short time. Sean was super responsive and in love when the actual owner of the business is the one who does the work! We found a crack in our main irrigation valve from a bout of extreme winter weather we had last month and so I came on here to try and find someone to fix it. I was quoted a reasonable price and time frame and Sean was as good as his word. Showed up on time and paid exactly what he said we would. He also told my husband how to prevent it from happening in the future and it didn't involve paying him more money... it was something we could do ourselves which it was very impressed by! Answered my request for service then were difficult to actually book. Did a good job on the agreed tasks but did not have the time or parts for additional work of checking all of the sprinkler heads. Scott was on time, and professional the entire time. He replaced a rotor, and a spray head at the same hole. Then after I paid a very reasonable fee, her weren't a step further to see if any of the chances were possibly leaking. He used a state of the art sound device with headphones and heard a slight passing of water. It could be a worn out seal. I'll run the system a couple times and expect the small leakage to be gone.
