It is also used for soccer later in the year. The diamonds were build in 2005, along with the park being replanted. Trees are just now getting high enough to provide shade, and it is well kept up. The playground is cleaned pretty regular and there are a few tables for people to sit and enjoy. However if you are planning anything you will need to being anything more. The skate park has its own review page so i will not get into it here. Tennis courts are a wreck. There are better ones at the high school, and these are just kind of falling apart. Yet they still work even if the fences are falling apart. They need to be resurfaced, and repaired. Lights, there are none. So once dark hits baseball is over. They are fields for little league. The tennis lights are slowly falling apart, and do not work anymore. I will mention a few things in regard to the skate park. There is a lot of trash, shirts, and other junk left by the kids there. It blows through the park on windy days. It is also closed during school hours, and at dusk. So the police will come and lock it up. Sadly the remodel did not put a sidewalk in around the park. Be carefull if you are walking/riding around the park. I have seen too many kids and other almost get run over by cars backing out. The bathrooms in the middle suffer from to many vandals. So it is usually a last resort bathroom. Too much damage to windows. I wanted to give a better rating, but there is just too much damage to the buildings, and trash to warrant giving more.. It most likely is a 3.5 but it just does not seem to warrant a 4. Pros: Nice for Baseball, good condition Cons: Trash from skate park, Ghetto tennis courts, dangerous to ride around with crowds.

(Why would you want to chance getting hooked or tangled by someone's fishing line?) They've brought in sand for a makeshift beach which is nicer than sitting on rocks. The NO'S are as follows: No dogs, or other animals allowed. No bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, roller skates No ATV's, motorcycles, motorized vehicles. No fires, fireworks No alcohol, No smoking, No e-cigarettes, and definitely no chewing tobacco. One nice thing about the reservoir is there are several hiking trails close by, but be careful... this is bear country according to the many signs that warn you.

There was a small quarter sand beach while the last 3/4 of the pond was surrounded by concrete beaches. The kids ended up having fun with it but I still thought it was weird. Where are the trees? Where is the shade? Ha! NOTE: the water is quite cold; we predicted about 60 degrees. Too cold for me but my kids enjoyed it on this 100 degree day! I appreciate any effort on the city to bring local parks and ponds for the public to enjoy.

Playground is large, lots of different levels. Multiple slides, climbing structures, bridges, animal statues to explore. They have a zipline and swings (multiple types). Along with the park they have a skate park, pump track and gated soccer area. Multiple open grass fields as well. When visiting the splash pad was still under construction as workers seemed to be sealing the concrete. It looks like it's almost done. It will be cute boat style splash pad. Lots of shaded table areas, multiple bathrooms and drinking fountains.

The daily fee is $5.50 for kids $6.50 for adults which is pretty impressive and affordable. One thing my daughter complained about, was they kept closing the sliding de area due to poop episodes so that's pretty gross, but I guess at least they close it to treat it?

I recently came to watch my children participate and was told that I had to pay the full admission fee just to enter the building - even though I wasn't using any of the facilities or amenities. For parents who simply want to support or supervise their kids, this feels unnecessary and discouraging. Many recreation centers allow parents to watch activities without charging them a full entry fee. Seems like this would also be a lift for the Center re: liability. I hope the Rec Center considers revisiting this policy so parents can attend their kids' activities without having to pay for services they aren't using.

Metal lipped ledges and platforms circumvent the bowls and banks area. Transition skaters will dig the 5'/8' kidney bowl. But it's not all good: The concrete's not the smoothest--in part because the amateur parks and rec clean-up decided to sandblast spraypaint off (this park is a big target for weak-sauce, art-free, wanna-be gangsta graffiti). The place is usually a mess (so bring a broom if you plan to skate the bowl). There's no gate to keep the local trash out after dark, so inevitably jr high kids will camp out in a bowl with their Doritos, Little Caesars, and generic 2l Mountain Dews. The final drawback is it's always crowded after 3pm, and typically dominated by bikes and scooters. The biker locals seem easy going. The scooter kids just get in the way. Then there's another crowd, a mixed bunch who don't skate, but bring bikes, yet just sit on the ledges and grass smoking cigs and drinking a mysterious liquid from imitation Sunny D bottles. They always have some girls who seem too young to smoke and a couple butt rockers who are creepy old. Still, come in the morning, or autumn lunch time afternoons. Avoid the crowd. Enjoy a beautiful shred in sight of some of Utah's most majestic mountains.

It's almost curiously wide open, which means you might at least be able to get enough speed to make it up that gradual spine, or pop up the 3' quarter pipe--provided you can avoid the bike lines. Bikers do tend to like this park, and I don't blame them. But take your skateboard another 5 miles north--or 15 miles south--for a better experience at American Fork or Payson.

We visited the West Valley Skate Park this Sunday afternoon and it was very busy. There must have been over a hundred skaters enjoying the great September weather. People of all ages were enjoying the skate park on skateboards, bikes, and scooters. Near the West Valley Skate Park they recently installed a small bike park that consists of two pump tracks. There is a larger, more advanced pump track, and a smaller track that's more suitable for kids. Our four year old son absolutely loves the Draper Cycle Park and we visit it regularly. This afternoon we came out to West Valley City specifically to test out the new bike park and had a great time. The two pump tracks are constructed of a black, synthetic, wood-like structure that's rubberized with a grippy surface. The track is surrounded by bark mulch and some small plants and trees. Our son was cruising around the pump track on his bike right away and having a great time! Although it was busy, the other kids were courteous and slowed down to avoid crowding each other or crashing. Unlike the Draper Cycle Park, which is all dirt and results in dusty bikes and dusty kids, the West Valley Skate Park is very clean, which I appreciated. There is also lots of lawn nearby, which was great for setting up a blanket for my wife and the baby to relax, while our older son rode his bike. Overall I'm impressed by the West Valley Skate Park and will be going back soon for another visit. Next time I'll bring my bike and join in the fun!

The people can be nice, helpful, annoying, or just chill. Their can be a couple scooter kids her and their I usually go after school to it so 3pm-5 or 6pm is the time I'm usually their. Now I'll talk about scooter kids They aren't their a lot unless it's like a Saturday Now for the concrete. The concrete is smooth and the ramps are nice and smooth for scooter's and skateboarder's Now when you get their their are 2 gas stations very close their is a church right next to it and next to the church their is a holiday And if you go down hill under the train tracks and go straight a bit at the lights their is a 711 For shade their is a building next to the skatepark and you can sit under it for shade This is my review for Lehi skatepark thanks for reading have a good day

It's a prefab metal setup, but it's probably still way better than what you are imagining. The park features a 3' to 5' micro-bowl, a 2.5' mini ramp, a half pyramid, a box, a picnic table, steps, and multiple banks. They packed a ton of stuff in a space this small, so you'll stay busy. There's very little that's not skateable (e.g. the very little 12" double bank), and the transitions are solid. The coping is fat, but unfortunately I think whoever installed it set it back way to far. As if the mellow transitions weren't enough to send you straight past the lip...
