I'm not sure if their breakfast sandwich is just a weekend thing (it's not on the menu on their website), but I was keen to see what that was like. We posted up at a counter along the street-side windows to people watch, although there is a bit more seating further inside (you don't seem to see pics of it here or on Google, but there is more seating than for just four people!). My niece and nephew both got the donair. It was actually their first one ever, real meat or Real Fake, and they seemed quite happy! I appreciated the flavour profile and the crisp edges of RFM's facsimile of Nova Scotia's famous mystery meat. My wife went for the Curly Fries Supreme, which utilizes classic McCain curly fries. Getting the deep fryer treatment, they're *much* better than being done in an oven at home. All the more so when so generously topped with cheeze sauce, "sour cream", tomatoes, green onion and seitan "bacon". Banana peppers made an added appearance for a nice little punch. I very quite pleased with my breakfast sandwich (and side of au naturel curly fries). The vegan sausage patty had an herby hit to it, and the cheeze slice was ooey gooey and pleasantly salty. I'm not sure what the "egg" was, but it was a little on the soft side, with the white falling apart; I'm not sure if that's to do with its inherent structure or its cooking. A small quibble on a great sandwich though! I love what RFM is doing and they're doing a helluva job at it!

I think a sweet pickle and/or more flavourful caramelized onion would be a good addition. The Caesar salad was good however, and very flavourful. My friend had the cauliflower which was very tasty, and the falafel bowl which was standard. For a vegan restaurant, there are lots of options with interesting concepts. Just missing some final touches for flavour.
