Not sure hwy this has 3.5 stars, cuz the location for National Parks and some hikes along the Colorado River canyons was perfect! Literally like 3 min from Arches, easy on and off the highway and 5min into downtown Moab! Plenty of parking, right off the river so theres a lil walking trail. Has a half sports court for basketball. 4 hot tubs and large pool with rock scapes to match surrounding that it shares with Marriott next door. Free breakfast rotated main dish everyday so we never at the same breakfast. Rooms are large and was clean! Has a mini fridge and Microwave in each unit. Gym facilities with water jug refiller (or for us, to fill water bags for hiking). App allows keyless entry into building and room and contact messaging with front desk (answers within 15min). Staff could have been quieter wi th personal info when out key card quit working but other than that the experience was great! read more

Beautiful hotel in a great location, but there were several problems detracting from our stay and no compensation or remedy was offered at any point by the staff. We arrived to check in to be notified that the pool was closed. This is despite the website clearly advertising the beautiful pool as a focal point for the hotel. Our toddler was really looking forward to using the pool. Even worse, front desk promised the pool would be reopened by the second day of our stay but despite staying 3 nights/4 days the pool never opened. We were not notified of this closure ahead of time, and the empty promises to reopen made it worse. Additionally, the wifi didn't work the entire first night of our stay. Keep in mind there is almost 0 cellular reception where the hotel is located. We went a fill 24 hours without Internet before the issue was resolved. Staff never seemed to care about these problems. Very disappointed with the service here. I only give it 2 stars because overall the room was nice, and the property was clearly maintained and clean. The breakfast was also always good if not a little busy. If they fix the pool and the wifi we'd consider giving them a second chance. read more

Scott really does speak a plethora of languages. One of the coolest guys in hospitality, and def left such a positive impression on all of us. It really kicked off our Moab experience to a good start. The people of Moab working in the hospitality and tourism industry are truly gems. Pros: + Clean, mostly modern + Scott is THE best host ever. He is perfect for hospitality with his warmth and positivity + AC works well Cons: - Shower would not drain properly (we stayed on the first floor) - TV was not turning off, the guys spent 30 minutes trying to get it to go off (and they're in tech!) I wish I had more time to check out the pool, but we were out and about everyday, that we didn't get to check anything out in any of our hotels on this trip. 3 stars because DUDE, the shower was not draining properly, so it def needed to be unclogged from all the years of hair! I had to turn off the water during my shower so it would drain before continuing to shower. read more

We spent three nights here. We redeemed Marriott Bonvoy points. Free self parking. It's called Suites but no kitchen facilities. But there's a Keurig coffee maker and a small refrigerator. The hotel draws many people with families. We saw many over our stay. It must be spring break. The hotel lobby area is very inviting. It offers adequate room where you can either sit or use it as a meeting spot. The breakfast area has ample space. There are booths and table seating. Complimentary breakfast daily. 24 hour free coffee in the lobby area. If you want to beat the crowd you should come down the first half hour. Otherwise it tends to get busy. Typical breakfast fare. They rotate the hot self serve items. One day it was waffles. The next day it was pancakes. read more

The pool area was my favorite. It's the perfect view of the red rocks and spacious enough where it isn't super crowded. Their rooms are clean. There are QR codes all over for you to order room service which is also really convenient. The front desk staff is super helpful. The microwave in my room wasn't working and they quickly came to replace it with a new one. Not close to a lot because it is a small city but it's worth the drive. read more

This hotel was really nice. The room was spacious and spotless as was the hotel. The hotel is new and I believe someone told me only one or two years old. This Hotel had several pools, spas, fire pits and plenty of seating outside. There is a Fairfield Inn right next door and all the pools were between the two hotels. This hotel is basically up the road from Arches National Park and also very convenient to Canyonlands National Park. We stayed for one night while on a long road trip between Minnesota and the Grand Canyon, and we're very happy with our stay. The room was comfortable, and well priced. We also decided to stop by Arches National Park since it was so close to the hotel, which was another great perk. The hotel is dog friendly, which was a large selling point for us as we had our two dogs with us. They gave us a great room (first floor, right by an exit door), and the only problem was that there was not a lot of grass for the dogs, but that's not enough of a complaint to warrant docking a star. read more

After driving for 12 hours, we had a great one-night stay here at SpringHill Suites in Moab. Perfect location, just 5 minutes from Arches National Park, with beautiful views of the surrounding red rocks and Colorado river (we even had a beautiful view of the river from our room). Really nice pool area w/ beach entry, waterfall, hot tubs, and nice patio seating w/ fire tables, all with a view. And, there are walking/biking trails right outside the hotel, and a nice hiking trail into the red rocks, petroglyphs right across the road. We booked a suite with King bed and bunkbed (twin over full), and loved it - kitchenette w/ full size refrigerator and microwave, little dining table for 4, and TVs in the living room and both "bedrooms." Only complaint was that there were no doors between the living room and bedrooms, or between the 2 bedrooms, so noise and light travelled. But, we didn't have any noise from other guest rooms (we were on the 3rd floor). Complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, and we were able to get a one-page map of Arches hiking trails from the front desk. Note that there isn't any restaurant or bar on site, but cute town of Moab is just 5 mins away (had a great dinner at Thai Bella in town). Definitely recommend! read more

I like SpringHill Suites usually but they do have an issue with paper thin walls. I knew this - they are all the same. I should've made sure I requested a top floor room so our first night we spent on the 2nd of 3 floors listening to the people above us stomp around doing god knows what until about midnight. After they finally went to sleep or quieted down - the fire alarm went off three times between 12:30am and 1:30am. My friend was so angry. We asked the next morning to be moved to a top floor room and were easily accommodated by the front desk staff and moved without incident for the remaining two days of our stay. Breakfast here is served during the week between 6-9am and we didn't have breakfast there because we wanted to sleep in and 9am means we had to be up earlier than we wanted on vacation after long days of hiking and driving. It's a great location near the Arches National Park entrance (5 minutes drive maybe) and nearby to tons of food in town but not close enough to walk like some of the other hotels. Once we worked out the room issue and moved to the third floor we enjoyed our stay. The pool area is beautiful and is shared between the two properties side by side and has 3 hot tubs, a fire pit, a splash zone and a rock pool area with a waterfall. The gym is very nice and updated with newer equipment and a water bottle refill machine with the sensor. Hot drinks and tea are in the reception area and they have a small snack/store area at the front. Plenty of parking and notes left in the room by the attendants. Overall - it was OK after we moved - but thank goodness we did because we would not have been able to get ANY sleep due to the thin walls. And the fire alarm going off all night the first night meant we barely got any sleep our first night in Moab so they failed at the basics on that one. read more

Breakfast is about a 2 fresh cut grout verses bruised brown bananas would be appreciated. no selections for celiac except dry eggs. if hoping for use of the beautiful pool - well! 4 of us tried swimming laps in 50 degree water and we are open water swimmers. People step in and get out with disappointed promise of a heated pool. instead children rough play on the cement. You have a choice when deciding where to stay in Moab. Unless you want infestation, don't stay here. We came for a family vacation to Arches and were disgusted to find a roach roaming around our room. We have a 1-year old baby, and to think we had him in the room just made us sick. Our other issues included housekeeping not restocking our towels, even though we clearly had them on the floor signaling that we wanted fresh towels. Other reviewers on here mentioned the breakfast bar...which would have been great if they could keep it stocked. On our last morning here, we had to wait 45 minutes for even through essentials to be brought out.  All in all, say no to the roaches and find yourself another place to stay. read more

We went swimming several times and even when the weather was cold, they enjoyed the heated pools. The breakfast was ok. Nothing special. This hotel is a mess. Please stay anywhere else. We visited to see Arches and canyonlands. I chose this hotel bc of the safety and cleaning procedures outlined online. None of these were actually happening. We found a used lip balm and blood in our bed. No masks in the lobby. I reached out to marrriott and they think these are not issues. So if you want to sleep in another persons blood during a pandemic, this might be the place for you. read more

Marriott considers this hotel a category 6? It's lower than a Courtyard. We stayed at The Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa in Avon Colorado is a category 4? The first photos are the category 4 in a town just past Vail CO. The second set is here. Can you understand my confusion? I realize we're near the National Park, but geez-we were near VAIL COLORADO too! This is a travesty compared to the Westin in Colorado! So glad we stayed there 2 nights and are only staying here one night. Also we were told our service dog is not allowed on the grass. Really? Come on! Install a dog area. By the way-I'm afraid to put our white dog in the dirty carpet. He's sniffing an awful lot and I don't want him to even get any ideas. Yikes-someone above us is pounding on the floors! It's 6:00 pm now-it's going to be a major problem after 10:00 pm. Lowered score from a 2 to a 1. They allowed the guests above to have a "child"??? run amok starting around 4:30 am. I finally called the room above ya and the woman said they were trying to leave-that was an hour ago. Don't come here if you think you're going to sleep. Also, dirty linens and towels. We were excited to stay here based on other reviews we had seen of the property and pictures. Cosmetically, the property is nice. It appears new and well maintained. The pool area was very nice and we liked our room. That being said - we are there to SLEEP. We had driven four hours to get there and were tired when we arrived. We were given a handicapped room which had a nice bathroom. (Note, we did not request a handicapped room) When we went to bed, everything was fine - however, around 10 PM a strobe light starts blinking over my bed. This bright white light kept flashing illuminating the room. I called the front desk and they did not know what it was and said an engineer would have to check it out in the morning. Oh good. We had a 13 hr hike planned for the next day and sleep would have been VERY much appreciated after the long day we had. I did let the lady at the front desk know about the problem on the way out and she said a manager named Liz would be calling me back after she got in sometime between 7 AM - 9 AM. By 12 noon I had not heard anything so I called back and left another message to make sure night #2 did not have the same problem. She did call me back around 1 PM and said that somehow the rooms handicapped "doorbell" had become turned on (keep in mind there are no instructions in the room about this ) and they had fixed it. They sent a bag with a kit kat and crackers as a token but to suggest that a $2 candybar makes up for a $250 hotel stay is just not right. I plan to reach out to Marriott directly to discuss this further but IF they put people in rooms with this type of system in place, they should be educated about how to turn the alarms off - OR - educate the front desk staff as to how to fix them when people call with inquiries. Personally, I think that the next doors neigbbors might have been running in the hall pushing buttons but under no circumstances should my nights sleep have been interupted at the price we were paying. read more

Sweet hotel right outside of Moab near Arches National Parks. Great brunch set up with plenty of yummy eggs. But be ready to see a packed area with plenty of families here eating up before hiking at Arches National Park. Pool was great and super family friendly. Great customer service as the staff came by every half hour checking on pool and fixing the jets on one of the spas when it wasn't working. Def recommend and it shares the same pool and common area as Fairfield so whichever one is cheaper the day of booking is best as they all share the same common service. read more

One of the secrets to a successful stay at any Marriott is asking for a room on the top floor. This eliminates the possibility that the people above you will be loud. I read some reviews that seem to say this hotel is unreasonably noisy. I didn't have that experience. The hotel was relatively full and yet, I didn't hear a peep from any of my neighbors. The rooms are pretty fancy for a SpringHill Suites. The decor very nice and inviting. Plenty of free parking. Good WiFi, TV and water pressure in the shower. Much better than average breakfast free of charge. I will stay here again. It's just five minutes from the National Park. read more

Prior to COVID, I was Titanium with Marriott and this is by far the most incompetent management team I have experienced. My room was paid in full prior to my arrival. I gave them a credit card when I arrived for incidentals. Over the first 3 days of my stay, they continued to charge my debit card I used to hold the room 2 months prior. I spent 30 - 45 minutes per day working with their management to correct the issue. They assured me every day it would be resolved. It was not. Over the 3 days, they charged my debit card $1,000.00. Their only excuse was "it was a glitch". I left several messages for their GM, Dan, who never had the integrity to call me back. Not what I would have expected from Marriott! read more

Arrived and counted about 10 cockroaches hanging around the outside of the building. I am terrified of them so I was already out off. The rooms are set up weird, the towels are thin and cheap, sheets smelled off. It did seem clean on the inside, but not worth what they charge to stay at a mediocre hotel. After reading other reviews it seems like roaches are relatively commonly spotted in rooms, either I got lucky and got a roach free room, or they were good hiders. read more

We absolutely Love staying here! We came her 3 years ago over the Martin Luther king Jr. Holiday and have come back every year! The hotel is perfect for families with plenty to do for everyone. The rooms have bunk beds which the kids went nuts for. They have a nice continental breakfast.The hotel is really close to the entrance of Arches so after a full day of hiking and exploring you can come back and relax in the hot tubs. Winter is a Great time to visit because there are no crowds. If you are looking for a quick getaway we definitely recommend staying here! read more

We are really disappointed with this place because it's so nice to look at from the outside especially with the pool side with its rock with falls like design. We've stayed here for 2-nights last June 2019, my 7 year old daughter and I had around 3 bites all over our body. I don't know if this just happened to both of us because most of the reviews here from other online sites are nice and that's why we chose this place because of its good reviews but I guess we made a mistake. We should've checked their bedding. Who would've taught that there's something in there because it looks clean. That's why if you pick this place, check first. But for us, we won't stay in this place next time we'll visit Moab. read more

Possibly the only hotel in the world that tells you "we don't have a taxi service; we can't call a taxi for you" so we missed our flight and had to pay triple the rate. You would assume a hotel by Marriott trains their staff well to accommodate the $300 per night stays. This is so traumatic that their inability to bring a fork within 24hrs and a comforter within 72hrs seem trivial and even ironically enjoyable. Don't hesitate to come here if you're looking for a ruined vacation experience despite the extraordinary beauty of the national parks nearby. read more

LOVED IT!!!! Stayed here last year and it is hands down one of the best hotels we've stayed at. Everything from the room, to the beds, to the breakfast...everything was great. The only complaint was that the walls are very thin. I think we were on the third floor, there was a family right above our room who would wake up at the crack of dawn, make a ton of noise, and wake us up before 6am!!!! Breakfast was amazing! They went above and beyond the boxes of cereal and milk/pastry breakfast. There were eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, cereal, apples, bananas, oranges, OJ, Water, Coffee, oatmeal, tea, etc. It was a full buffet. The only complaint there is the breakfast area was SUPER crowded. Kind of hard to get into and take your time making/putting your breakfast together because there are soo many people there but it was still manageable. Upon check in, it was fast, we were given our keys, and we didn't have a single issue. The town of Moab was smaller than I expected but it was still neat. There's a bar/restaurant down the street which had I think it was 2 or 3 dollar beers. Their food was good....it was incredibly hard to order a pizza from Pizza Hut though. We called the number and had to be routed and we lost the call several times so we had to drive there. It was an experience. Wow what a nice surprise this hotel was. I am very picky and always worry that our room will work for our family of 5. We LOVED this hotel. The room was great with plenty of space (In a perfect world they would have more hooks in the bathroom), quiet room, and plenty of space for our family. We loved the pool area after super hot hikes and rafting trip in July. At any time we had a problem it was promptly meet and fixed. The staff were kind and super helpful. The breakfast was good and up and running early so we could get on our way to exploring the beautiful scenery. This hotel is great because you are less than a mile from the entrance to Arches and 5 minutes from town. It was a great place for our family of 5! Not a kid friendly hotel. This is the first and last time I'll be staying at a Marriott hotel. I usually pick the Hilton or Hyatt but wanted to try the Marriott out to compare. They have the weirdest policy about breakfast. Every other hotel that I stayed at never had a problem with me bringing breakfast food back into my room. Some even provide brown breakfast bags for us to take Togo. This was not the case at the Marriott. I was packing breakfast for my kids when a staff member came up and said I couldn't bring food back. Really? A brand like the Marriott is this stingy? What if you wanted to watch TV while eating your breakfast? Also I noticed that the lady only ask you if you were Asian. When an older white lady was packing a tray full of food next to the same staff she didn't say a word. That was the most annoying part. Just to make sure I watched her for the next three mornings and notice that she would enforce this policy on non white people. I won't be staying here again. read more
