3/23/2024- We had a credit and decided to use it for a room for the son. Fortunate to have a variety of hotels in our neighborhood.. especially when you have out of town family that can stay nearby. Frustrating when you call the 800 number and the call center is very pushy..and stated we couldn't use our credit.?? Took a bit to find a direct line to the hotel.. When they did answer, we were able to get the correct answer and able to use the credit. Checked in yesterday.. Son was very impressed with the room!.. He can pay next time.. lol.. Glad we were able to have a good experience..

We stayed here on our last leg of a road trip across America. Location is nice, about 10 miles from downtown Reno. Ample parking even though you have to pay $8 per day. Rooms are nice and spacious, we got a 2 Queen and sofa bed suite. Free breakfast was nice. Front desk staff were wonderful. The hotel needs to replace the toilet seats that are showing signs of wear! I'm glad to be a Marriott Bonvoy member.

Parking, plenty. Gas right out front of the location Nearby eats, plenty of options; Pizza, subs, Asian, cafe. Tammy at the front desk was super friendly, fast & efficient. Room was nice & spacious. Great lighting. Clean bathroom. Great & fast working AC unit. Complimentary breakfast buffet had the usuals. Great lobby seating. Business center is a cute & separate area located by the elevators. Has its own tv, & fake fire place. Located next to it is outdoor seating area with an actual fire pit. Didn't use their fitness area or pool, but looked clean.

Overall a fantastic hotel for the price. It's obviously not a 5-star hotel, but for what it is, it definitely does the job well! Location: pretty far from downtown reno and the airport. However, the closest Marriott hotel to Mt. Rose. Away from the hustle and bustle of the casinos which is perfect if you don't want to be in that area. Very secluded. There is a gas station right in front which makes it convenient for travel! It is also right off the freeway so super convenient to get to. Rooms: Fairly new construction so the rooms were looking nice. As seen in the pictures, each room is a "suite" so they are massive with a living area, sleep area, and bathroom. Plenty of room for 3 adults. The temperature regulation was good, especially being in a city that gets super hot during the summer and fairly cold in the winter. Food: complimentary hot breakfast in the morning! Definitely nothing to rave about and not one of the best hot breakfasts I have had; but included food is always nice to have! Service: the front desk lady that helped us out was extremely nice. No other interactions with staff. Overall: Yes this is no four seasons. But if you judge it based against its counterparts, it is a great, fairly new hotel, away from the business of downtown Reno. Would stay here again!

We stayed here while on our road trip and we had a great time. I posted a review on our YouTube channel https://youtu.be/rhDCddXgxFI It's a great clean room. The staff was super friendly. The morning breakfast was good. I do appreciate that they had turkey sausage as an option since our family does not eat pork. We stayed in the two queen room. There was plenty of parking. Plenty of space to put all the loads of stuff that we had. So many outlets to plug everything in. USB ports galore. The bathroom was super clean. The water pressure for the shower could have been better but it was still very nice. Our EV was able to charge while we slept. Easy access to the freeway as we continued to our next stop.

As one who is an engineer by profession I just had to laugh when I saw this ... until I heard my girlfriend scream every morning of our stay

Here for five nights ... I will update as I go: Made my reservation with points, months ago. Check-in: Although I am lifetime gold (for staying over 365 paid nights in their hotels), the desk clerk said I had no reservation, causing my heart to just about jump into my throat, then miraculously "Oh, here it ... I needed to scroll down further." Then, even though my profile says I prefer high floors I got "Oh, sorry, we're at 100% occupancy and the only room left is on the ground floor next to the ice machine." Lovely. No pre-planning went into their room assignments. Night 1: * The mattress is not very good! I woke up at least ten times (I am usually a sound sleeper) to shift positions. * There's a device on the ceiling that strobes every two seconds. There's another device that continuously blinks red. * The thermostat keeps the room at 76 degrees, even though I've set it as low as 63 degrees. * The pillows have no substance to them, but saw that coming and brought my own. * Nice suprise when it's shower time! The door is installed in such a way that there is no way to turn the shower on without actually being insode the shower enclosure, making it virtually impossible to turn on the shower without getting a solid dousing of ice cold water. * Due to regional wildfires there's a lot of smoke in the air. Our hallway was isolated from the main lobby at night, keeping the smoky air in the wing our room is in because we're unable to ventilate. Night 2: One of the few amenities here is an outdoor patio with a fire pit. So, last night we decided to relax on the patio and enjoy the ambiance of the fire pit ... which didn't work. The gal from the the front desk came out and gave it a try since (ha ha) there's no maintenance on staff during the very hours (evening) that one (or two) would be inclined to sit on the patio and use the fire pit. So, she couldn't get it going either. So no soft glow of the firepit glowing the darkness to relax the guest. I suppose it wouldn't have mattered too much because ... ... There's what must be an 8,000 lumen spotlight right over the patio? Who thought THAT would be a good idea? Was any forethought put into the architecture or engineering of this hotel, which brings me to this story within a story: My girlfriend and I had to get up pretty early this morning. Since it takes her a little longer to get ready than it tales me, she jumped into the shower first while I laid in bed dozing for a few extra minutes. That was until a hidious scream pierced the early morning darkness. Well, what happened is she went to go use the shower (see the picture). You tell me how anyone can get into that shower, turn it on, and not be heavily doused with ice cold water, and NOT SCREAM? ... more to come ...

It was a short wait of about 15 minutes before they were able to give us our room info. We booked a larger room with a king bed so our son could have a bit more room to roam. Room was clean, bed was comfy. AC was easy to control. It did have a microwave and mini fridge. Emphasis on the mini for the fridge. Pool was semi heated. The outside temp was in the 60s so the water felt about room temp. Whirlpool was nice and warm. The fitness center has the basic weights and cardio machines. Laundry facilities only had 1 washer and dryer. We had dinner at the bistro located in the lobby area. Basic foods of salads, sandwiches, pizza and burgers. Didn't know they had a kids menu until we had placed our order and one of the workers (the one who didn't assist us) asked the family behind us if they wanted a kids menu. The bistro is only open during certain hours (breakfast and diner mainly. Grab and go snacks and some travel items available at the "market" next to reception. However, there are food options nearby as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This place is so cool and not cool at the same time…read more.. Here's the bad stuff... 1. Super construction going on and the parking lots are a mess, you don't know to go right or left and I got lost finding entrances even after 3 days.really dirty too. 2. The dirt doesn't stop there. Our first room we were given was so smokey I mean burning eyes smokey. There was a box fan sitting outside the room so I think they tried to air it out but it was like someone burned a cigar in there and just closed the door. 3. After going thru a room swap we were given another room. Fine but there was a dirty rag left in the bathroom counter with hairs all over it. Not a huge deal but still, come on right? 4. The late check out. Went to the front desk night before to make sure late check out was ok since we were at an event that morning. No problem they said you got until 4 with an additional fee. Great right? Nope since our room was a room that was attached to a suite they needed us out before that. Just come on again! 5. The service is just rude everywhere. I mean everyone you encounter! The Rim restaurant guy host in a suit..., I'm convinced was high as a kite. Don't believe me, go there and talk to him, holy! The security desk, rude and unhelpful. Anyone you call on the phone from the room, rude. I'm not expecting Disney customer service, but come on man! Someone teach these guys some customer service skills. So the good.... The resort is really cool. Bowling video games, nice casino, everything to spend a fun weekend. We may even come back just to do the pool and stuff to do there. To wrap it up... Lower your expectations. Your not going to get the cleanest room. Most certainly you will be treated rudely. It's a place that could be so epic but falls short due to just taking short cuts in the customer service, organization and just plain care about your whole experience factor. P.S. you will receive at least 5 text messages telling you about how great their spa is.

I can't speak to the rooms on the lower price range, but what I got, was absolutely amazing…read more I was here on Cinco de Mayo, but because it was a Tuesday, the rates were very reasonable. I have "status", so I was offered an upgrade to a spa suite, for a very reasonable price. The price range, of course depends on what day of the week it is, as well if there are any events going on, but even at full price, that spa suite is well worth the splurge. I was checked in by Claudia, and she was very friendly and helpful. My room was in the tower that is connected to the main casino. I was on the fifth floor. The view during the daytime wasn't much, but at night time and sunrise, it was very pretty. I walked into the room, and I couldn't believe it! I had actually gotten a two room suite it was a beautiful suite. The living room had 2 very comfortable couches. One of them had a hide-a- bed in it, or you could just sleep across the couch. it had a mini bar that had a Keurig on it, there were two TVs, with a good picture and lots of channels, as well as the movies for rent, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, and there were also two bathrooms. The bathroom attached to the living room does not have a tub or shower. There was also a huge closet. There was a fridge, but no microwave. The bed was a bit firm for my personal taste, but I still got an OK nights sleep. I do realize that everybody's taste is different. I had to laugh when I saw the Jacuzzi tub. It was heart shaped. That tells me that this "spa suite" doubles as the honeymoon/romantic getaway suite. The Jacuzzi tub was amazing! It filled up quick, and it was so absolutely relaxing. My body was just melting away. I sat in that thing for almost a half hour, and when I got out, I went to sleep very quick. My only regret, is that I didn't have a special someone to share it with. (for those of you who have met me, I apologize for putting that image into your brain. Please, I beg of you, let it go... LET IT GO...... :) Circus Circus is a nice property, like the El Dorado and Silver Legacy, it is a Caesars property. The casino is nice, they have a midway with lots of fun games for the kids, and also live circus acts. There is plenty to do. You can walk between all three properties without ever going outside, and there is plenty of gaming, bars with different themes, and lots of restaurants throughout all three properties ...The food court is just OK. I didn't care for the habit burger place, but I thought that the pizza place was amazing. (see separate reviews.) Just a great stay. Thanks!

After our stay, my overall opinion on the casino really didn't change…read more As far as actually navigating the casino, it didn't improve from my initial experience. The elevators are still tucked away and very hidden and every single pair of escalators we found had one side broken so you had to just wander around until you found an elevator or a working escalator. There were also random 1 way escalators scattered about which was off The actual elevators in the main lobby were a nightmare. No matter if there were a lot of people or nobody, they would take forever to come down (and I believe one was broken). There was a time in particular there were 20-30 people all waiting around for the elevator. I asked an employee where the stairs were (since I was on the second floor). It took two employees to even figure out if there were stairs, and then I had to wait around for security (who never came) in order to go up them. The room, while decently clean and modern, was missing hand soap, and the AC rattled extremely loud when the compressor would turn on. I finally figured out I could jam a pillow in between the bed and AC to keep it quiet. Throughout the stay, the front desk people were very unhelpful, either not knowing anything, or just saying "yeah I can't help, go ask the bell hop". The only saving grace was the midway, which while expensive, was a nice little break for people like us with little kids.
