I stayed at this hotel for one night in February 2026 to attend an early morning service at a local church. The location is great because it is near many stores, restaurants, and the event we were attending. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff members were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my specific stay requests. The shower was nice. Hot water and really good water pressure. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely stay at this property again when I am back in the area. I stayed here on my business trip and I was not disappointed. The room was very clean and cool as the days were extremely hot. I enjoyed that the bed was firm but not too hard. The bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast was provided every day which included different pastries scrambled eggs and a breakfast protein with potatoes. I really enjoyed the coffee. They do have a pool and a hot tub which helps end a nice long day. I had a struggle with the elevator and I was told I needed to press the buttons harder for it to work. Recently stayed at the SpringHill Suites Lancaster Palmdale for two nights while my husband was working an event at the AV Fair and Event Center. At the time of our visit, the hotel was undergoing major renovations in pretty much all of the common areas. If you're planning on staying there in the near future of this review, be aware. Although the renovations did not directly impact our stay beyond the aesthetic of the hotel, the only issue we had with the common areas was with the one elevator for the property. It was SLOW. We're not sure if the elevator will be part of the overall renovations for this hotel, but thought it's worth mentioning in this review. The staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was also nice to have in the morning to start the day. The suite we stayed in was a standard two queen room. It had a small living room area with a desk and small kitchenette (mini fridge, sink, and coffee maker). There were also plenty of outlets to charge electric devices, many of which were bedside. The suite had more than enough space for two adults and a small child to live comfortably for three days and two nights. We had one issue with the room related to the temperature. The room got very warm and the thermostat didn't seem to work well to cool down the room. This was true of our other colleagues' rooms as well, so this may be an overall hotel problem. We would return to this SpringHill Suites in Lancaster Palmdale once all of the renovations are complete. The spacious rooms at the price point per night were a good option for a multiple night stay. read more

This was a compact room but surprisingly the design and layout worked well (at least for me). Overall the room was in decent shape and, there wasn't a great deal of wear that I observed although I did notice some stains. A few issues involved the lack of space on the vanity (large sink dominated the area), the mattress sagged (I'm 172 lbs so I'm not that heavy) , the gym was pretty lacking and breakfast although free was "mid". Otherwise a decent stay so I can't complain. I requested a non-pet room and far from the elevator which the hotel was able accommodate so I appreciated that. I stay at a lot of Marriott's properties. This one is in desperate need of a renovation. Signs of its age all over the place. Stained carpets in the room and a giant hairball. Terrible Experience - Unsafe, Rude Staff, and Completely Unprofessional Stayed here for 1 night in Sunday June 22, worst experience and the young lady that worked that night of the date above made everything worse. I rarely write reviews, but our stay at SpringHill Suites by Marriott was so unacceptable that I feel obligated to warn others. This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had, and it all came down to poor customer service and serious safety concerns. First, I had to change rooms three times. The first room was on the first floor, where someone was literally peeking into my window. As a woman traveling with my fiancé, this was terrifying and completely unacceptable. We requested a new room immediately. The second room had a broken TV--again, not something you expect when paying for a Marriott-branded hotel. Finally, we ended up in a third room just trying to salvage our night. But it got worse. My fiancé had just returned from filming on set and attempted to walk into the lobby to come up to the room. He showed his ID against the glass, proving that the reservation was under his name, but the woman at the front desk refused to let him in! At 2:00 a.m., I had to come down myself to deal with her and let him in, She was acting polite to my face but clearly had a nasty attitude and very questionable intentions. read more

I travel for work a lot and this is the worst Springhill property I've ever stayed in. There was a live roach in the restroom on the floor for starters. The beds were not comfortable and we could feel the springs and see the dark yellow spring lines. The pillows were equally as uncomfortable. Come down for breakfast this morning and there wasn't a soul in the breakfast area however, most tables were a mess, floors were messy and lights were not working. The staffs friendly enough and my room seemed clean. However, the elevator was out and I had to take the stairs, and I had several large items as I was staying for a week. I have an arthritic ankle and preferred not to trek all my luggage up the stairs, but I had no choice. (I was told they had to help another patron find new lodging as the hotel was inaccessible without the elevator.) I asked for a 1st floor room, but they couldn't accommodate me. The stairwells were filthy: the railings and the carpet. The carpet in the hallways were filthy and the carpet in my room was a little less dirty. If the elevator is out at least make using the stairs more sanitary. I stayed away from breakfast because I didn't trust the level of cleanliness. I will be writing to corporate because I paid too much for what I got and I am a Marriott member. I will NOT be staying here again. read more

If you're looking for a Marriott property in this area right down the street is a brand new Fairfield and Townplace for about the same nightly rate. The staff here has been wonderful each time I have stayed. The faculty was being remodeled the first few times I stayed, and I was able to stay on the first floor. The room was nice that time, although the hot tub was over chlorinated and hard to breathe in (despite being outdoors). A few months had passed since the 3x I stayed in the fall, and I stayed this past weekend knowing there were still renovations going on. This time the renovations were in the lobby with the floor ripped up. One ice machine there was no access to while the workers were there and when it was empty that was the end of it. No ice, maybe not a big deal but for me traveling with medications that require a cooler I look for that. Signs were around the hotel informing the work would be going on Monday through Saturday and I was relieved that Sunday morning would be easier than Saturday was getting through the lobby. The workers were in the lobby Sunday morning, working while people were eating the complimentary breakfast. This staff is incredible here. So I would stay again but my recommendation is to avoid this property until the renovations are done. read more

The facilities were mediocre at best for a Marriott but you add the racist staff and this place is a mess. We walked in and there was no one in front to greet us. When the woman finally came she looked disgusted and didn't even say anything except for asking how to spell my name and for my credit card (she didn't even tell me how much she was charging). This hotel is great for a large family because the larger rooms sleep 5 comfortably. The location also serves breakfast in the morning and the easy check in and check out makes it worth it. This was the only location in the area which allowed me to use my bonvoy points (additional plus). This location has a small fitness but I would not count on doing too much as the space and equipment is limited. New owner and Managment group 24/7, and new manager have all but destroyed this hotel. No longer Marriott standards. Dead bushes, no lights at night, Marriott sign is not lit up at all. Inside, the manager doesn't order food regularly for breakfast. You get what they have, sometimes just meat, nothing else, or only waffles. New owner says to reuse the stained and torn linens. New manager is never there, belittles the employees loudly at the front desk for all to hear when he is. Didn't have hot water for a week, and getting yelled at by front desk staff when making a complaint is standard procedure here. Bugs everywhere, stains everywhere. Laundry has to wash linens with only bleach no detergent. Does not order eco lab products which is a Marriott standard. The hotel is overrun with locals, it almost seems like a prostitution house. The hotel smells like weed and cigarettes. Is a total shit show ever since the pandemic and it was a homeless shelter for a full year. read more

#SpringhillSuites Ok So I use my points with my super platinum account at Marriott hotels to stay for 3 nights at the Springhill Suites in Lancaster California. Recently I have spent about five different times in the hospital and subsiquently have lost the ability of my legs because of all of the bed stays. I bought an FAA approved wheelchair to let me be more mobile but I still require lots of help with accessing things and am unable to access the simplest things in life. Now, this prefaces the beginning of the story. Last night I met the overnight guy named Tyler. Who I thought was a kindly guy who may help me with some of the simpler tasks within the room after my friends came over to move me from the brand new wheelchair to the bed. I called Tyler from my cell phone and asked him if he could come in my room and help me with a few items during the overnight when I know the place is basically pretty dead. He notified me that he would be leaving around five am and I thanked him for informing me. I had woken up around 3:15am feeling chipper and asked Tyler if he could come in my room and grab a few things from my stuff and hold my hand so I could sit up and tackle some needed stuff on my laptop plus a bunch of smaller stuff like grab some of the complimentary breakfast out in the lobby, get me an extra blanket, etc... Tyler complies and all seems wonderful. I was so happy and grateful because Tyler had made my first night so pleasant that I even gave him a five dollar tip. I was going to give him a ten but I didn't have a ten in my wallet so I was going to hook him up the next night with an extra five. Now comes the evil. Tyler throws me under the bus with the lady who came in after him and she will have no part of it. I called at 5:55am to request that she turn off one of the lamps in the room and she rips me a new one. I don't mean a mild "we don't do that sir" I mean a full out mega-bitch out about how he complained to her about how uncomfortable it made him feel and how inconvienienced he was blah blah blah... Well Tyler, You are an all time douche bag. Thanks you F$%#@ jerk. You could have told me directly! Instead you rip me to shreds behind my back! What class you have! I was going to give this hotel a five star rating for Tylers exlemplery service but now its a zero which equates to a one. What a POS going behind my back and doing that. Sub-par for a SpringHill Suites, it's a franchise property. Room was okay, breakfast not so much. My car was vandalized while parked there. I contacted the hotel, they acted like it was a common occurrence. The GM wouldn't return my calls, when Marriott asked for a review, I responded. Convenient location off of Ave J, two minutes from the freeway. Rooms had a small suite feel - with seating area slightly separated from bed. Mini fridge, microwave, tv that swivels from facing bed to facing couch area. Free breakfast, free wifi. Gym, pool, spa. Didn't hear any noise like others complained about, but I wasn't a fan of the fact that there weren't any curtains on the windows (only sheers) to block out the ridiculously bright morning sun. Front Desk needs some work too. I booked the room off of priceline and got attitude when I checked in. Super annoying - if you don't like priceline customers then don't participate. read more

Accommodations were great! We were in Lancaster for Soccer State Cup. On our last day I went to the front desk to ask if we can get extra time to check out since we had morning games. I talked to Judy and I tried to explain that I needed more time to check out because of the soccer games, she completely cut me off and said absolutely not. Completely rude. It was Sunday so most of us were going home that day so I don't see why she couldn't work with us. I was willing to pay the extra fee as well. Is this what Marriot does? Won't ever come here again. Walls are paper thin, place is not very clean. My sheets and comforter had dried blood stains on them. My AC is industrial and is LOUD. Can hear people coming and going all around the hallway. Can hear actual conversations of people walking in the hallway as I lay in my bed. One elevator for the whole place that is VERY slow and u wonder if it will actually get you where you're trying to go. Why does breakfast start at 7am? Most people that are traveling are awake and gone prior to that. These people need to get with 2018. Worst Marriot ever!!! read more

This hotel is BASIC. If you want basic stay here. The beds are very uncomfortable. The floor plans make me feel claustrophobic they have a wall separating the sitting room and bedroom has desk in the middle which holds the tv so you have to share the tv with the sitting area and the sleeping area, it's very awkward and you can't see the tv very well from either area. The complimentary breakfast was blan and not much of a selection. The air conditioner is loud. This is has been one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Front desk staff is rude 8/17/2019. In case a manager reads this you will know who was working. I woke up in a bad mood. I hope to get drunk tonight so I actually have a good night sleep in this dump. read more

I highly recommend running away from this place. There is more choices nearby. This place and the management is a joke. I stayed there last Fri Sept 1 2023, and I only stayed at this property because they had a spa. Upon check in I verified the spa was in working condition because I had just driven several hours and my body hurt. I was assured yes pool and spa are in working condition. Took care of everything including dinner, came back to the room got our bathing suits on and headed to the spa, jump in and it was freezing cold. Went to the front desk and was told they were working on it. Well working on it, didn't mean right then, it meant it will work in the future. That was hit number one, I would of rather stayed elsewhere but really needed the spa. Next day I get my invoice and have almost $100 in room charges for food. I talked to the front desk again and was told to wait for the manager at 12:30 so I did, Manager was very rude and basically said his employee is very accurate and the charges must be accurate. I asked him to check the cameras, he said he would and would get back to me Sunday, he never got back to me. I decided to write Marriot, they responded with the kids you were with made the charges. Right there I knew this place was doing shady business, because these kids my grand kids are young and they don't go to the front desk or anywhere without me. So beware shady business. They caused me to cancel my future Marriott stays, I will never stay at Marriott again. read more

Looks are NOT always what they seem would be the perfect statement for this place. Walking in, the lobby was clean and modern. As we checked in, I asked about a possible late check out as we were in town for softball and based on game times I wanted to get a shower in before we flew out. The front desk clerk was a little abrupt and states we are a small establishment and we can't guarantee, most likely not? So I asked if it's possible to use the gym/pool shower as other hotels have offered this in the past and she says we don't a shower in those facilities, again we are a smaller hotel. Mmmmm k thanks..... As we ventured to our room, we noticed that the hotel seemed to have gotten a remodel recently as the pictures on the website were different and everything seemed new. Walked into our room and we were pleasantly surprised in the decor and layout, very nice! That's were it ended:( We went to adjust the heat and the unit did not work accordingly to the instructions, then we found a note on how to work it and well, it was LOUD! (We left to get food and came back to still a cold room and found our window was cracked open and needed maintenance to fix it) Finally got a chance to lay on the bed and whoa was it soft as a pillow, like TOO soft, as in I may not be able to get up in the morning. Water pressure was low, so showering was not the best and when it finally time to get some shut eye, as I'm laying in the bed, I realize I can hear the next us talking!!! Like literally there whole full blown conversation is audible through the walls.... Breakfast was the usual, the eggs sketch, so we passed but for the most part it was the same you can expect from a Marriott hotel. Sunday morning arrives and I set my alarm to check with the front desk about the late check out as I was told that the manager/supervisor would be in and they would be the ones to approve the request. 6am arrives, I walk down to ask and as I wait to be acknowledged, I can't even get a word in as the lady says, IF you are asking for a late check out, unless you are a Platinum Marriott rewards member the answer is NO. (she adds that a large group is arriving today so ALL the rooms need to be cleaned by 3pm) WOW, is all I can think of and I guess I didn't need to brush my teeth since I didn't even get to say a word!!! It was ok, we wish we reserved a nicer hotel with a restaurant or bar, this doesn't have any. The rooms were ok, the bathrooms are not upgraded, they have a tub/shower with a shower curtain which is a turn off for me. Also, we noticed a throw up stain that was NOT cleaned by the maid, it was just left there. Told the front desk guy about it at check out and all he said was "I'll have housekeeping take care of it", not a Im sorry for the inconvenience or anything like that. Staying at this hotel was a breath of fresh air after my last weeks stay at the nearby Courtyard. I am grateful for the bigger and partially separated rooms, which gave it a more homelike feel. I really appreciate you having more available parking spaces on the premises. I bow down to the mini kitchen area containing a fridge and food blaster (sup Michael). Kudos to the staff for their superb, welcoming service. And a final and huge commendation for fresh, soft towels. I've stayed at a lot of Marriott hotels over years of travel for business. Some definitely rise above the rest. The spring hill suites in Lancaster Palmdale are middle of the road IMHO. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly, and amenities are pretty decent. Room has fridge microwave TV and coffee. Lobby has coffee 24-7, and full breakfast 0630-0900. There's also a small "quick mart" style food store where you can get chips, soda, cheap wine, candy bars, etc. Only thing really lacking is that "one thing" that brings them out in front. Overall though, good hotel. read more

Now for the REAL reason this place is 1 star- you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the next room. I went to bed listening to a man cough and laugh, I woke up listening to him and his kids blowing there nose. I pay more for a hotel to have a good nights sleep in a safe, nice hotel. This springhlilldid a great job providing me a safe, nice hotel- but did not do give me any peaceful sleep. And btw- trust me- Had my neighbors been loud- I would have said something, but they were literally doing things normal people do (brushing their teeth, laughing at what was on tv, on the phone at normal hours)- I just could hear EVERYTHING. And I AM A HEAVY SLEEPER. I am very upset by my stay- I put Marriotts in pretty high regards (to consistently get it right at providing a peaceful stay), and this really ruined it. read more

The first time I was in Lancaster on business, I was put at the Comfort Inn next door. It was so bad, I decided to brave traffic from Long Beach in the morning rather than stay again. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out I would be staying at SpringHill. I prefer Marriott Hotels, but after staying at Comfort Inn next door, I was eternally grateful. The rooms are small but nice. The walls are thin and you can hear people walking but noise wasn't a problem. I found the bed to be very comfortable. And, I found the staff to be very courteous.
