We attended a wedding in Whitefish and chose to stay at this property in nearby Kalispell. We favor Springhill's for their all-suite design which provides a lot of space to unwind. The property is clean and up-to-date and the staff is over-the-top superb: attentive, efficient, and friendly. The property is located near a number of eateries and is a short drive to both Whitefish and Glacier National Park which makes it an ideal base to explore one of America's most stunning environments. We want to single out the housekeeping staff and Lacey, who works in the front end of the hotel. Housekeeping found a bolo tie we forgot to pack. Lacey reached out to us immediately and made arrangements to have the jewelry mailed to us! That attention to detail and consideration reinforces what was already an exceptional experience. This Springhill rescued my wife and I from the gnat invasion in the room of the "other property" that I had stayed at. It could've been a 2 night stay, had the other property allowed us to leave and refund our points. The night front desk clerk who answered my phone call was helpful and had a room for us had we been able to check out. Service was great. The staff treated us nicely. I had "chatted" with them on the app trying to get an early checkin. They tried to contact me that a room was ready early, but, we had no cell service in the park to receive calls or emails. The front desk staff were nice and friendly with my wife and I. This Springhill is located in Kalispell, in the newer shopping area. The outside of was nicely landscaped and even had a putting green. This is a typical Springhill. If you've seen one, you basically know the layout of the room including the sliding glass barn door for the restroom that is the bane of most people who stay at the Springhill. We had a room with a king bed. It was a good stay and they gave me a good night of rest before driving to Spokane. The gym was adequate with ellipticals, treadmills and weights. Breakfast was Bonvoyed with precooked McDonald's type eggs. They also had sausage patties and links. This Springhill is a good hotel. We liked them and glad that they were able to rescue us. read more

Stayed here for two nights and can't recommend this hotel enough! They were able to accommodate me with an early 12:30pm check in. This is a newer/modern hotel with high end furnishings. Rooms a sooo comfortable and make for a nice stay. Big spacious room with a living room office side and the other side with the king bed. Bathroom has a nice sliding "barn" door and the mirror has really good lighting. Staff is all very friendly and helpful. At the front desk hotel store guests can grab all the Aquafina bottled water they want FOR FREE!!! If travels take me to this area again I will be back! read more

Great spot! Staff makes this location great. They are all so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included and great! They had puzzles out on table and that was really fun. I wish they had bigger room options available, but was perfect for our family vacation. Clean, felt new. We had issues with our AC unit and they sent someone to fix it at 9 pm. We ended up with a new unit and it was replaced efficiently. Kitchen door was open at times and it was spotless. Clean hotel. Comfy beds and rooms. Inviting staff. Convenient location close to a lot of things. Great experience. Highly recommend! read more

Great convenient hotel. Very clean interior with nice amenities such as free breakfast, gym and pool. The rooms are spacious and nice with a good layout and "work" space/desk. The breakfast area was SUPER busy every morning so I would usually take my breakfast upstairs for peace and quiet and just to be cautious (stayed during COVID times). Not something the hotel can control and frankly I guess the guidelines in Montana and every state differ but essentially no one wore masks at any time during my stay. You stood out if you had one on BUT no one made you feel bad if you still chose to wear one. That and cases around Kalispell are quiet low. The gym had great options with treadmills, two ellipticals, free weights and a peloton! Breakfast had lots of options with oatmeal, cereals, pastries, breads, usually two hot food options (typically egg and a protein) and a waffle station. No fresh fruit and some days no fruit at all. Coffee/tea was available 24/7 in the lobby and there was a coffee marker in the rooms. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. Lots of parking and close to many shops. read more

The manager said "I'll pack you a kit," then took it upon himself to get me a bag of breakfast items! How awesome is that. The service and cleanliness of this place is top notch. Such a gem! SpringHill Suites is either newly built or updated with a homey feel. From checking in to checking out there was nothing but great service. I walked into my room and was amazed by all the small details from extra space, to walk in shower, and plus everywhere. The bed was super comfy with two types of pillows and just so much space to stretch out. I loved the daybed as well that could double as an actual bed. The only "negative" was the slow internet. I had some trouble getting on and staying connected especially on my laptop. Check out the gym as it is super updated and a great place to relieve some stress. Had filtered water, yoga mats, and free weights. I was able to do a late check out, which helped me when it came to getting back to the hotel after a long day from work and getting to the airport. The staff was phenomenal as well with everyone being so nice and always greeting me with a "Hello" and a smile. It made my entire stay just nothing short of amazing! I already know I want to stay here when I am in the Kalispell area again!! read more

Very musty smell when you first come in to a room 225. Bathroom fan doesn't work. Air is stagnant and it's hard to breath. Other than that breakfast is nice and overall atmosphere of hallway is nice etc. read more

After the flight I was exhausted and anxious to get to my room. From the moment I sat foot in Springhill Suites by Marriott in Kalispell, til I walked out, the staff couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful. They made me feel at home and were incredibly nice. Guided me to a great lunchspot (where I got a discount for being from the hotel), plus answered all my questions and even provided some advice about Glacier NP that I am glad to know. The breakfast was awesome, facilities are clean, and well laid out. Fast WiFi, workout room and indoor pool, plus about every TV option you could dream up and lots of great spots to plug in electronics and such. Special thanks to Rachel and Justin who were a couple employees who were notably helpful, but the entire staff and stay were tremendous. Feeling much more refreshed and excited to get to some hiking and camping. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay. read more

I travel a lot for both work and for pleasure. One thing that I always try to do when I'm working his stay in branded hotel preferably from either the Marriott or Hilton chain. Here in Kalispell the Marriott Springhill is new refreshing and in a great location. The rooms are very large clean and updated, they have a sitting area, refrigerator, microwave and a large bathroom. As a traveling cinematographer I always travel with a lot of gear and these large sitting areas in their rooms are excellent for my gear storage. They also work well for storing mountain bikes in the room, camping gear, etc. etc. In this branded hotel breakfast is included and always sufficient to get you going. No-frills but it's perfect if you're on the move. If you need any extra supplies there is a Cabela's, Costco, and Walmart within walking or a one minute drive away. Finally, the staff. The staff here is a shining example of Marriott excellence and charm. They helped me with booking, canceling, rebooking and room preference like total pros. read more

The staff here were exceptional- especially Sally, Carmen and Shantelle at the front desk. Always helpful and friendly to every guest. The rooms are bright and airy with lovely Mountain Views. My room was quiet and seemed to have been recently renovated. The hotel is in a very safe area, and you can walk to the nearby soccer fields for exercise. Many good restaurants are within a 10 minute drive. The Kalispell airport is also 10 minutes away. I traveled here for work, and have been so taken by the beautiful location that I would happily return and stay here again. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. read more

This is a great hotel and the location could not be better if you want to be close to whitefish and glacier but also do things in flathead lake area. The staff is very nice and the gym and pool are great. I would say it leans more on the side of a business hotel feel but it worked well for us staying here with two kids aged 3 and 6 as well. We stayed in one room and the king bed + couch worked for us, which was nice because we didn't end up needing two rooms. Very clean as well, the lobby and breakfast areas were sanitized often and it felt very safe. During these covid times, it must be very difficult for hotel staff to rise to the occasion to all of these changes and new protocols, but I can say that hotel management here is doing a good job and the staff is adapting very well. Special kudos to Rick and the front desk staff - great people. Good work! read more

We booked this hotel originally for 4 nights thinking we'd spend one night on the road getting there. However, we decided to drive straight through and booked an extra night. We tried to add it to our original reservation but for some reason couldn't do that. At check-in we asked clerk to put the reservations together so we wouldn't have to change rooms. Supposedly he was going to do that. So, after we unpacked everything in our bags and showered after our 626 mile drive, he called us on the phone. We had to move. Aargh! Not only did we have to move but the room he moved us to felt like a downgrade. It was smaller. Then, we discovered that he double charged us. I figured that could be taken care of by front desk so I brought it to their attention. When it wasn't corrected, I contacted Marriott and they corrected it almost immediately. Dirty towels were removed one day but clean ones weren't replaced. This was just another issue. Thermostat was weird. Heater/air conditioner was by bed but thermostat by door. It was always too hot or too cold by the bed depending on setting even though nice in the front area. Hotel was newly furnished. Everything was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good. read more

Prior to starting our Glacier adventure, we rested up here at the SpringHill Suites. It is a new facility on the north edge of Kalispell. There is a whole bunch of new stores in this area. As for this location, while it was busy with visiting baseball teams for a tournament, it still felt quiet. The breakfast service in the morning was great. I only eat hotel breakfast while traveling with family, partly cheap partly speed, they had the best service of the two week hotel trip. What did I learn today? The kids grabbed enough Chupa Chups to last a week when I wasn't looking. read more

On my most recent stay, my mother was about to have breakfast downstairs in lobby when she sat on one of the lounge chairs. As soon as she sat down, her chair snapped sending her sprawling into the corner of a wall. As a result she suffered a bump to her head and twisted her back as she tried to lessen her fall. Luckily for us, the staff (Kelly, Christina, Anna?) at this establishment were phenomenal and super helpful / caring in making sure that my mother was safe and uninjured. They even offered to send her to urgent case to ensure that she didn't suffer a concussion. One suggestion to management is to please conduct safety measure and reviews of the equipment / tables / chairs at the hotel, as we saw a lot of seniors that were staying at this property. Would not want this to happen to any other families. Overall the property is very clean, rooms are spacious, workers are exceptionally service oriented, and the breakfast buffet is about average for what you'd expect from a hotel. However, given the scary experience, I would have to dock a few stars from this review, as the incidence did throw off our weekend plans. read more

I stayed here this past weekend while visiting Glacier National Park for my 25th birthday. This might be the best service I've ever had in a hotel--the staff were all so nice and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They were able to accommodate us adding an additional night to our stay, and even let me use the computer in their office to send myself some photos I took in the park. Aside from the excellent service, our room was very clean and brand new. It was exactly what we needed to wind down after long days in the park. Though we didn't eat breakfast most mornings, the breakfast offerings were varied and really good! I look forward to coming back to this hotel the next time I visit Glacier. read more

This is a very good extended stay hotel in Kalispell. Conveniently located next the Costco and other shopping, the Springhill Suites is a brand new property with modern fixtures and a contemporary vibe. The rooms, while slick and shiny, are a bit smaller than those at Homewood Suites across the highway. The breakfast is probably better, with plenty of yogurt and fresh fruit. Just had complaints about unacceptably low water pressure in the shower (I was on the 4th floor, so problem could be isolated). And the pillows were too flat. I'm a Titanium Elite with over 150 nights plus $1500 away from Ambassador Elite this year. Booked hotel reservation here over three days ago. Did Mobile checkin two days ago. NONE OF MY PREFERENCES WERE EVEN HONORED. Originally assigned 2nd floor, when one of my preferences is high floor. Only option was 3rd floor handicap room or 4th floor connecting room. Stayed here 8/18/2016 when our flight cancelled. Shuttle to/ from the airport was good. Van left on schedule in the morning. Hotel staff were pleasant. Breakfast was typical Springhill Suites breakfast. Room was nice, temperature just right when I walked in the room. I bumped it down a few degrees for sleeping. You can tell it's a newer hotel. We have been staying in Marriotts throughout our trip. We had a great stay here in kalispell while driving thru. The hotel is really nice and clean! We were able to book the room with our points and even got changed to a larger room when we checked in. The breakfast was so good in comparison to other Marriotts! This property opened Summer 2016 and they are working out details and kinks. As an elite member I know that Marriott is a brand that is consistently very good and this property does not disappoint. What is not to like about new rooms, linens, towels, carpet, etc. The staff is various helpful and what lacks in polish is made up for in enthusiasm. I have had better breakfasts at other properties and worse at a few... this one falls in the middle, but it could be improved and should be. I would not hesitate to return to this SpringHill. Because we missed our flight, we got into Kalispell so much later than expected. We found out our car rental CLOSED 2 hours before we arrived, so we had zero transportation. When I called to let Marriott know we would be late checking in, the front desk offered to pick us up in the shuttle. What a pleasant surprise to a horrible start for our vacation ... to be greeted at the airport with a sigh with your name on it! Cali/Kelli (our driver) on the night of the 22nd couldn't have been a more gracious hostess. 5 star!! And Stan, our driver in the morning, got us to our car rental location which was NOT at the airport but 6 miles away. The hotel is less than a year old and it was very pleasant to stay there! I often stay at SS because I know what I'm getting. This one went over and above my expectations. EVERYONE greeted me as I walked about the building, and I mean everyone. The front desk staff suggested places to eat and checked back with me to see if I was happy. Other staff stopped to ask if everything was going well. Real VIP treatment.
