Pro tip: Do not stay here on a Friday night…read more Giving this place 5 stars because I hate to see a business fail. Unfortunately the good people of Kalispell are super bored and driving past this hotel on Friday nights 30 times without a muffler on their car and blasting bad music is their idea of a good time on a Friday night. The same cars and motorcycles drive the same five blocks and then turn around and do it over and over and over. If you're going to Glacier National Park and looking for a nice place to sleep and get dinner and drinks, go to Whitefish. Whitefish is close to the airport too and has cute stores, good local hiking and apparently a classier group of local residents. This hotel isn't built to provide a comfortable experience for guests, at least not on Fridays.

We had a great stay at the Kalispell Grand Hotel the weekend of October 16 a18, 2026. I am giving 4…read morestars instead of 5 stars only because of the hotel host's performance on Sunday morning. Don't be fooled by the somewhat drab exterior and lack of signage on Main Street, this place was great! The good: the beds were comfortable and the room very nice and clean. The location in downtown was fantastic and all of downtown was walkable from the hotel. The hotel felt as historic as it was and we appreciated how well the inside of the lobby and lounging areas felt. Breakfast was very good and included quiche, baked oatmeal and other continental style things that were available. Much better than the breakfasts at Hilton and others Meh: you need to either park on the street across from the Lobby, or in the parking lot behind the building. Behind the building was $12/night. Street parking was free between 6pm and 8 pm. You did get a two hour grace period. The city does enforce parking limits, but we had no problem. Cons: Friday night cruising on Main was loud and if you are an early sleeper, it could be disruptive. There is a lounge next door to the hotel, the Elks and Eagles behind the hotel, and another bar. Friday night before the bars close was a little raucous. We didn't mind, we actually liked the city sounds. Terrible: the hotel host on Sunday morning was totally oblivious to watching the breakfast area. Food would run out, no plates or silverware, coffee and creamer ran out, and each time she had to be hunted down to address the issues. You would think she would have restocked all at once, but she only addressed what was brought to here immediate attention. Better training is needed here, or better employee. We will stay here again!

All staff here are so, so friendly here (from the check in process to all the staff I have run into…read morehere at the hotel), especially Guest Service Manager Amanda. She was accommodating and promptly amended my situation by providing a clock as well as the flexibility of offering me a room on the top floor. Because of the exceptional customer service, I would definitely reconsider to staying here in the future and try and stay on the top floor for next time. The location of the hotel is prime and in close proximity to stores, restaurants, and gas stations. It's also nice that they always have their coffee and tea stations readily available and fully stocked with a variety of items. Parking is plentiful here.

Yes, it is our fault for paying that. For over $400 per night we didn't receive anything that you wouldn't get at a $120 per night Homewood. We still had to stop at the front desk everyday to get fresh towels, coffee, dishwasher detergent, and more because our room was only serviced once during our stay. This may have been the smallest Homewood room we've ever stayed in, and that is with it being the one bedroom suite! The lighting was poor throughout and was so dim in our bathroom that we asked to have maintenance inspect it. For some reason the dining room table was on casters meaning that slightly touching it sent it rolling a few feet across the floor. We asked for late checkout on our fourth day before leaving so that we could sleep in and were told no. Staff were very friendly and willing to chat. We spoke with our room's housekeeper who did a great job refreshing our room the one time that we actually got that. There was never a problem with parking, always plenty of spots right in front. Decent view from our room that included the mountains of Glacier National Park way off in the distance. Not in any way worth the price being charged. I would recommend if you want to spend this type of money that you can easily do so by just staying inside of Glacier National Park and having a much more memorable experience.

Comfortable queen beds w ample pillows and blankets. We were told that dinner would also be included for Mon thru Wed guests. We enjoyed the 24hr pool, spa and workout area. Our room was always well stocked for 3 people even though we were 4! It's management's policy to set up the rooms for 3...fine until there are 4 people. Nightly warm cookies were a nice treat and 24hr coffee in your room or breakfast room. The elevator was shut down for maintenance just before we loaded our car. Luckily we were only on the second floor. The staff are Friendly and helpful. Breakfast after a good night's sleep is a nice perk. Many healthy options including gluten free. Fresh fruit, quick pancakes, yogurt, oatmeal w toppings, cinnamon rolls, omlettes, bacon or sausage, biscuits and gravy. Eggs and muffins
