The property is based on a lake with so many activities like kayaking etc . There is a gated pool area for people who are staying at the lodge itself. I had made my reservation months in advance, but realized--at the very last minute--that I had accidentally booked the night before instead of the actual night of. Total panic set in. Riley was incredibly kind and calm. She spoke with her manager and was able to fix my mistake, saving me from what could have been a stressful end to an otherwise perfect day. I was beyond relieved! Shayla, our host, texted us ahead of time to make sure we were all set for a smooth check-in. That small gesture alone made us feel genuinely cared for. Each day, Shayla prepared the most delicious homemade baked goods, which made us feel like we were at a home away from home. Since we planned to head to Glacier National Park early each day, she kindly packed to-go breakfasts for us--always thoughtful, fresh, and satisfying. On the mornings we stayed in, she served beautiful homemade breakfasts that were just as delicious. The extra touches throughout the lodge made our stay even more special--the self-serve charcuterie, fresh fruit, and beverages were such a nice bonus. He is so knowledgeable about the history, culture, terrain and everything you need to know. The accommodations were comfortable, with a large closet to put all our stuff. We could not believe the French press coffee brought to our room each morning at the time of our choosing (really?!!) and then the local offerings for breakfast!! A glass of wine in the evening if you choose. The comfort and the pleasure is all right there. And I am a fussy sleeper/traveler... this was true fun. Just beautiful up there!

Our double queen room was exactly as pictured online. After a long day of travel, falling into the pillowy bed was a dream. While there is no free breakfast available, there is a little coffee style cart in the lobby that offers a nice variety of coffee shop style options. We enjoyed some complimentary coffee and purchased items on the patio overlooking the golf course. There is also a fun little gift shop in the lobby area as well. If you are too tired to venture out for dinner after a long day of activities, Logan's is also located onsite. I think my favorite thing about the lodge is the amenities! Great indoor pool and sauna room with a beautiful hot tub overlooking the golf course. My tired muscles happily parked themselves in the hot tub after a long day of hiking! So the only real reason for the loss of a star is due to two minor issues. Issue #1 was the bathroom in our room. Our large walk in shower only had half of a typical sliding glass door. Half of this large shower was just exposed leaving us moping up the floor with towels after showers. Very strange! Not sure if this is every room or was specific to us but I didn't care for that. Issue #2 is the fact that there is currently no housekeeping service. I understand that covid is a concern but I think if they can serve unmasked diners in the restaurant, they can send a staff member in to clean while guests are out of the room. The room rate and resort fees are too high to eliminate basics. I didn't get a discount as a result of this so I must deduct a star. Despite the minor inconveniences mentioned, I absolutely enjoyed staying here and already plan to return. I hope the full array of services are made available when I return!

There are 2 wings to the hotel; one of which has nicely renovated rooms that are up to date. The other is not renovated and though very clean is pretty much like an economy hotel. I was charge $300+ and was not happy about this room at all go that cost but that's on me I guess to have made this choice. Checking in - 3 people at the desk, no greeting and only one was doing check ins and it took (not kidding) 15 minutes (management???). Beautiful bar/restaurant that really fits with the Montana vibe. Had drinks here -$20+ for a Negroni? Breakfast option is only a buffet, nothing else. It's ok at best. Nothing unique at all. Cost - $28. The area on one side is gorgeous lining a golf course. Looks like an event facility has been added in the back for weddings etc. beautiful. Transportation to the airport is provided at $23/person. Service at check out was much better. I should mention they have a small indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub.
