I live in MN and found a rare car that I wanted at Automall of Springfield. I spoke with a sales…read moreguy on the phone for a week or so and based on his evaluation of the car I purchased it as he said it is in great shape and needs NOTHING. I asked to have them take it to a lexus dealership for them to do an inspection on (at my cost) and they refused. The car is a manual and I asked if the clutch was good and they replied it was. It actually was NOT and so bad that the flywheel had to be re-surfaced as well ($2K). it could have been worse as if the flywheel was bad it was $2400 for the flywheel part itself. I called me sales guy and wanted to know if they would help me out as they said the clutch was fine. He forwarded the concern to his manager Ray and that is were the story ends as Ray has NEVER called me back - 3 Voicemails and multiple text messages and not one call back. I think that tells the story of this dealership as they don't stand behind the product - they claim it was good and it was not so too bad too sad I guess. Well live and learn - I would never purchase from them again. UPDATE After not gIving up I got a hold of ray and asked him to help me with the $2K bill as I am sure they knew the clutch needed replacement. He agreed to $500 which was better then nothing. I would jussi make sure you do your due diligence and have a mechanic check it out.

Do NOT buy a car from these people. I was going to buy a 2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro in voodoo blue…read morewith only 50k miles on it for $42k. Anyone who knows this car knows the color is rare and low mileage is like finding a needle in a haystack. The car was listed 6/13/2026 and it's been over a month since then...and now I know why it's been on their lot for so long. I contacted them about it buying it from out of state and they said I'd need to put a non-refundable deposit down of $1k. Already a little sketchy and a known sales tactic...but fine. I'll bite. Then, I setup an inspection with a mobile mechanic...and they sneakily increased the price on the website by $1k thinking I wouldn't notice. I reach out to them about the increase...no response (the person I was dealing with at the dealership is Keith) Then I reach out to them about cancelling the inspection and tell them I'm no longer interested...and what do you know...they responded right away. Oh and the $1k increase they posted on their website after I contacted them? They didn't think about the carfax and the carfax still had the original price. I could've been their dream buyer. I have an 812 credit score, no debt other than my mortgage, was willing to finance with them, and I was willing to FLY there and drive the car back myself. They shot themselves in the foot with this one. $42k? Nah. Only reach back out when you can get me an out the door price of $32k

The day after we bought it the check engine light came on. Took the car to O Reilly to get the code read. The car dealer was informed the next day and assured my ex husband that they would order the part. Never heard from them again. This past Friday (May 30), the car started sounding terrible. The car was taken for an oil change, the oil was old and had metal shavings in it. Again called the dealer and got several stories. The "partner" bought the car and it was his fault. Then since we were past the 30 day warranty we would need to pay out of pocket for a new motor. Then we were basically told our kids drove it too rough. We have Life360 and get driving reports that show the speed driven, rapid acceleration and hard braking. Basically two teenagers were taken advantage of, and then blamed for a car becoming undrivable within 34 days of purchase which is disgusting behavior. If we want to pay more out of pocket to get a new engine we were told we could do that. I do not trust this dealership to fix this car. My ex husband offered to sell the car back to them (at a big loss to my kids), but the dealer doesn't do that, likely because it's junk. The car dealer gave my ex husband the runaround and several excuses. This is a good lesson to have a car checked out by a mechanic and my kids now know that car dealers can be very untrustworthy. A five thousand dollar lesson learned, and now we have a piece of junk car to dispose of. Believe the negative online reviews, the people we dealt with after the sale were definitely not the people who sold the car.

I'm Hans and I'm Franz. And we just want to...pump...(clap)...you up! Yeah, it's the early 90's…read moreagain in fashion and beauty, so I couldn't help myself. If you don't know Hans and Franz, "here me now and and believe this later" 'cause I know you've opened another tab to Google it. Don't google, go to Youtube for the full effect. Okay, Hans and Franz are gonna get to the point. After all, they are cousins with Arnold Schwarzenegger so they aren't afraid to name drop (remember, this is before he was the governor and just a body builder/kindergarten cop). Okay, now let's get to it since we didn't in the prior two paragraphs and if you're still reading then clearly you want to know. These guys are wonderful. I purchased a Volvo from another dealer and they send me here to have it checked out. Both times, the staff has been friendly and the utmost professional. Trust me, I tried to drop in a goofy joke here and there for my own entertainment and they did not take the bait! However, " here me now and and believe this later" 'cause they could be laughing in their head. Moving along, the waiting area is super nice. You got your wifi, your multiple work areas (couch, chair, table, counter), your complimentary treats, water, and Starbucks coffee dispenser with the option to have coffee, hot chocolate or a latte. Plus, you're surrounded with super nice, posh vehicles to check out. The only thing I would change is the music. It's this odd music that I believe was called elevator music. Personally, it reminds me of finding the elevator in a department store, maybe Sears or JC Penny. Either way, you pop in and that terrible music is playing and is smells like pee. Look down and there definitely has been pee in the elevator. Why? It's the only way to get to the other hidden destination...the bathroom! Listen, if I'm going to date myself we are blasting into the heart of the 1990's. Let me make it clear, it does not smell like pee at the dealership! I just really like non sequiturs and ripping myself up when I read this out loud to my hubs. Moving along and back to pumping them (clap) up. I found that they troubleshoot the way you wish everyone would. What makes the most sense? How can we address the challenge and not overcharge? You read that right, not overcharge. I mean, at this point it wasn't even me fitting the bill but the dealer I purchased the car from. That says a lot to me. The staff is efficient and they are great at giving updates to you. I was even told that I could come back and ask questions if I had any about how to operate my new Volvo. If you didn't know, it's straight up luxury. Which equals a lot of bells and whistles. I'm all about ringing bells and blowing whistles, so it doesn't intimidate me; just may need some help here and there. So basically I'm going to go in and throw down some line from Kindergarten Cop. Maybe I'll lead with, "I'm going to ask a bunch of questions, and I want to have them answered immediately." Just kidding! Oh, they wash my car and vacuum it every single time I come. Also, they pull it up for me in this covered area so I don't have to be bothered with the elements outside. I'm probably going to recommend others to buy their cars directly from here.
