Horrible! Horrible! job. It will be a year in May sense they put on my new roof and it still leaks. It leaks places where it never leaked with old roof. Each time I send them pictures of the leaks they do not reply. My son called them 3 times they keep saying they will call and schedule to get fixed. They have yet to call me. Just wanted you to know how happy we are with the roof and cement work.... what professionals!!!! Their job is a work of art. We value the trades and appreciate that you decided to try and help us with cement even though you may not usually take on the cement jobs on a regular basis. It was awesome to meet Duane Springer and talk with him for a few minutes. We loved Merv & the crew. Loved that they teased with me and humored me as I kept checking on the progress outside because I was so excited. Please thank everyone for us from the bottom to the top!!! Extremely poor quality work. Awful results with tons of mistakes. Duane (owner) was not even willing to come look at the horrid work his workers had done and denied that the work was anything less than perfect.... I offered to send him photos, he denied even that. Also refused to fix the mistakes and demanded full payment. The worst people and company I've ever dealt with. They even ruined my carpet in an area that was not being worked on and did not apologize or offer to replace it. Also left my doors unlocked when they left. The tile work looked like It was done by a first-timer with no common sense! Seriously! Lots of obvious and major mistakes (tile not flush, as much as 3/8" different height in some places, exposed edges of tile, poor cuts, epoxy grout haze all over my dark tiles which is permanent now, uneven gaps between tile from 1/4" all the way to 7/8". I could keep going but it's just ridiculous.) The drywall work, however, was the only good thing. Great work and fast. That guy was great, even though he spoke no English. Please, never use this company. Also, there is a previous negative review from someone else just like mine. Duane replied with a bunch of generic stuff that didn't fix the work his company did. There was no check in by him throughout, no inspections, and no check box, and no satisfied customer when they did the work for me. So if he says that stuff again, basically it's a lie. Sad to see how dishonest and untrustworthy he is. read more

Do your research about this team before you ask for a quote. There are many good contractors in the region. Keep looking for a good one.

Beware of this company for major renovations. The owner does little inspections of work being completed and never follows up to see how things are going. Short on help and the quality work is sub par and below because of this. Owner refuses to fix items that were damaged by his employees during renovations. They feel repairing (covering up) the damage with glue and putty is satisfactory. They make you feel like a burden not a customer during the construction. I regret my choice in this company and definitely would not use again. read more

We have a large roof on our home. Springer Construction was in and done in one day, including great clean-up job! Some windows were scratched by the removed shingles due to high winds. Those windows were replaced without question and in a timely fashion. Thanks, Springer Construction! read more

The owner of Springer Construction posted this comment with our address in it and then called me to tell me that he posted this comment. He also said we did not pay our bill. We have paid this in full based on the terms of the invoice. Please see how he is responding and how detailed he is. I think it says more than anything that I could say. Please beware! If you are looking for customer service... I would keep looking. I think this is very unfortunate and am very disappointed in the his character. He apparently has to have the last word... Upon changing home insurance companies, the new company sent out an inspector. He did not pass our roof. We first decided to get just 2 quotes and ended up getting 4 quotes. From the first call to Springer Construction to request a quote to our final contact with them, it was a very positive experience. The actual day of construction was during the extreme heat in June. Soon after tearing off the old roof, they discovered that our chimney had a huge hole in it and asbestos had caved in the hole. Our estimator, Scott, came over to the house immediately to give me the news. He said they would try all day to get a HVAC company over to remedy the chimney. As the day went on, they couldn't find a company that was willing to take on the work due to the heat. Duane Springer, the owner, decided that his company would install a new chimney the next day. After installing the chimney, I was a bit unsatisfied at the aesthetic of the chimney. I called right away and within minutes, Duane himself showed up to talk it through. They told me how they could improve the look of it and we decided it was a very fair compromise. His workers showed up in a very timely manner and worked to make the chimney blend in with all other pipes coming out of our roof. From Carrie in the office, to Scott the estimator/foreman to Duane Springer the owner, we are very pleased that we chose them for our new roof. I would recommend them. And, the roof looks great!! read more

ZERO stars! This was the worst company we have ever done business with. Before you hire this company, do your homework! Check out BBB, Angie's List, company's own website, etc. to read the negative reviews left. We met with a representative of this company last Spring about re-roofing our home and detached garage, and also replacing damaged wood and re-roofing the carport. We signed the Contract and paid half money down ($4,388). They completed roofs and carport work. In the process, shingles fell down all four sides of our two-story home. Had black skid marks from the backs of the old shingles down the siding, as well as scratches and dents. Every window wrap on first floor was damaged. Black marks went down two sides of our garage and one wall of the neighbor's garage. Plus more damages. The owner of this company's first offer included US paying them an additional $2,450 to repaint the siding. Their second offer included them paying us $750 to do it ourselves. Owner refused to make a claim against his "up to $2,000,000" insurance policy indicated on the contract, or even provide name of insurance company. After we refused their offers, they hired an attorney and took a lien (for more than the remaining balance amount) against our home. They threatened to sue and foreclose on our home if we did not pay the remaining half. We were accused of lying (even though admission of damages was made in writing). In the end the owner settled with us and we will not pay the balance owed. The Lien is released. Luckily, we had to expend no attorney fees. We do have to pay out of our own pockets to fix all the damage they caused. What a shame this company would choose to fight, lose their entire lien amount and I assume incur months of attorney fees and expense, rather than just fix the damages they caused in the first place! read more

My husband and I are looking for a company to help re-do our garage. I had heard about Springer on the radio and found their company listed when we were doing research. We reached out to them and had an appointment set up. An hour before a representative was scheduled to come out, our appointment was cancelled due to personal issues on the representative end. We understood. Things come up. They assured us they would call to reschedule since they make sure not to make a habit of this. It was three days later and I had to make the phone call to schedule a make-up appointment! I was not too happy about that. We had our next appointment booked and was told someone from the company would call the day before to remind us of our appointment. No one called. I believe someone called the day they were supposed to come out around 2 hours before our scheduled time. I had missed the call but thought I recognized the number. A voicemail message was not left and thought no biggie. No representative came out that day. No one called to apologize or try to reschedule. Very inconsiderate. Zero stars. Springer Construction has lost our business. read more

Do not use this company. Springer made promises to get our business and turned aggressive and threatening. Promised completion of exterior within 1 1/2 days/finish within 2 weeks--it took 5 weeks. Guaranteed work during weekdays and not during weekends and not before 8am but build crews only worked on Saturdays as early as 5:40am--causing noise complaints from clients and neighbors and only worked a few hours on any day. No follow up, no returns calls, no scheduling information provided. Billed final payment before construction complete and then threatened 18% interest as a late penalty. Company failed final building inspection--failed to put in truss braces, did not obtain the floor and post hole inspections, and no slope on floor. Told company that to correct and company threatened me with 28% interest and late penalties. Company locked us out of building and threatened to keep us locked out for 6 days after payment. read more
