We contracted for a roofer on Wednesday and Friday they were here to install. The supplies and dumpster came on Thursday. The crew was here at 5:50 am Friday. They completed the job at 12:30, did a thorough cleanup, loaded their tools, and was gone by 1:30. Dan checked frequently on the crew for adequate supplies and any specific questions or requests we had. Dan did a walk thru with us for any concerns and our approval of the job. When we were satisfied, everyone left. They used quality products on the roof and used equipment to protect the property,landscape, and thorough cleanup. They were higher in price than other estimates but we chose their quality products, excellent warranties, and payment options. Roof looks great! read more

30 square roof and they quoted $56,000 for shingles. 3 other quoted $13-19,000. The sales person openly said another close competitor would be higher, which I had quote they came in at $19,000 a whopping $37,000 difference. When called out on maybe $7-9,000 worth of actual material office lady said I belive its more than that....You told me what materials you are using and I found them at Menards....not that hard Karen. After all that they called 3-4 times trying to pressure sale me saying willing to discount and would start work in a little over 2 days. I'm a local business that deals with homes and definitely won't be recommending to my clients. read more

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience with this company. I scheduled what I expected to be a straightforward roofing estimate for my home, which is currently in poor condition and in urgent need of repair. I've had several companies come out, and this was by far one of the worst experiences. From the start, I knew something was off. Every other company I worked with knocked, introduced themselves, and began with the roof inspection. This representative, however, arrived with what looked like a briefcase and immediately insisted on coming inside my home. That alone made me uncomfortable. Instead of inspecting the roof first, she sat down and gave what was essentially a 10-15 minute PowerPoint-style presentation. It felt more like a sales pitch than a professional roofing estimate, which I found very disturbing and inappropriate given the situation. Rather than focusing on the actual condition of my roof, she seemed primarily interested in signing me up for financing. Even after I explained that my partner and I planned to split the cost, she assumed I couldn't afford the project and repeatedly pushed me to apply for credit. I was reassured multiple times that it would not impact my credit, yet she asked for my Social Security number and continued pushing after I expressed hesitation. When she finally went outside, the inspection took less than 10 minutes. She did not get on the roof, only walked around, took a few photos, and returned with a quote of over $30,000. She also made negative comments about other roofing companies in an attempt to steer me away, while offering little effort, urgency, or real solutions herself. Before leaving, she attempted to sign me up for additional credit accounts after claiming something "didn't go through." This was extremely concerning. After reviewing my credit report, I discovered that those accounts were in fact added and my credit was pulled. So not only was I misled, I was outright lied to. Being told there would be no impact, only to later see it reflected on my credit, is beyond unacceptable. The lack of honesty and transparency is deeply disturbing. As a homeowner--and more importantly, as a mother trying to maintain a safe home for my children--I felt pressured, misled, and taken advantage of. Please be very careful when dealing with this company. Ask questions, protect your personal information, and trust your instincts. Highly disappointed. read more

Tru choice came to the house and offered me their three-tiered estimate: $55,700 for the "good" option, $61,800 for the "better" option, and a full $83,600 for the "best"! I called several others contractors in South Bend who worked on earlier homes of mine. For the same 50 Timberline shingles and all the trappings, Advanced Roofing and Mike Neely came in at $16,700-- that's $39,000 less than the CHEAPEST TruChoice bid! TruChoice is a scam. I'm sure their work is good, but the whole business model is to market, market, market, and hope one out of ten people is foolish enough to accept.
