Scenic course up in the Milpitas hills. Not too difficult to get to despite it being tucked away in the hillside. The course itself is well enough maintained and the views are gorgeous. Had my first experience playing here one weekend in winter and morning tee times were delayed due to frost. The staff were very good about keeping track of and rearranging groups based on who was still there by the time they could start sending groups out. There are a few holes where you can't see the fairway when you're teeing off (due to the hilly terrain) so just be careful that you're not hitting into the group ahead of you. The course is walkable, but seemed to be uphill both ways! The par 5s are long so you're for a trek (or at least a good workout!) if you decide to walk instead of ride.

Came here with the Fam for a birthday party for one of the Little One's school friends. I swear I haven't been to Golfland in probably 20+ years (maybe even closer to 30. That's how old I am). Glad to see it's still up and running and still a lot of fun. Young children are still a bit too small to really enjoy mini golf, or laser tag, but they had a blast running around and playing the video games. It's great to see that some things about this place haven't changed. The host of the party also purchased game cards for everyone, and each card came loaded with 100 credits. Dang! that's a lot. They were only valid for the video games, and none of the ticket or prize games, which honestly makes sense, as buying in bulk probably comes with a big discount, and no arcade wants you racking up a mountain of prizes off a party package. Still, it worked out fine because the little ones had a blast on the video games, and I even snuck in a round of Space Invaders myself ;) Even for Golfland, I can't write a review without mentioning food. Yes, it was party food, but I'll try to be nice: - Pizza: Cheese, chicken, and Veggie. Choices were great. However, the pizza quality was pretty mediocre. Akin to Little Caesar's. I'd say Chuck E. Cheese, but honestly I've never tried theirs so can't really say. - "Famous Thick Shake": I did go rogue a bit and purchased my own order of this shake that they advertise on the posters. First thing you notice? The size. It's huge! They offer a small and a large, but the "large" is about three times bigger for just $1 more. And that's how they get you to buy the large. At $9 vs. $8, of course you wouldn't order a small! The "shake" is really more like soft serve ice cream in a cup, almost like a McFlurry. I wouldn't try sucking it up through a straw though. That's futile. You get to choose three toppings. I went with two: cookie dough and coconut, which kind of makes a coconut chocolate chip cookie? It was pretty good, though way too much for one person. The Mrs., The Little One, and I together couldn't even finish it. Of note: the receipt labeled it as an "IG Thick Shake," which made me curious. I assumed IG meant instagram. So I hopped onto Instagram and searched "Golfland Thick Shake" to see what the hype was about. Let's just say the search results ended up being NSFW. Not what I was expecting. Overall, Golfland is still a solid spot for birthdays, family fun, and nostalgia. The food isn't why you come, but the golf, games, and sweet treats definitely make it worth the trip.

Clean open space inside but sitting outside where you can watch the tenth tee off is fun. Golf course was in great shape and mowed nicely to match the slope. Greens were fast and true as always. Awful experience and generally advice against making a tee time here…read more I will start with a positive - the staff is extremely welcoming. Everyone I ran into had a genuine interest in making the experience great, which was much appreciated. All of these hard working individuals in the pro shop, at the cart barn, and in the bar should be rewarded for their effort. The course today was an absolute mess. Cart path only, two days after a semi-normal rain, and course conditions were awful. We had a 10 am hour tee time and it took 6 hours to play 18. This has much to do with course conditions being so awful that much of even the fairways are unable to be walked, let alone a cart, due to the thick mud. Absolutely atrocious drainage issues on almost every hole makes this track worse than San Jose Muni at double the cost. On course Marshalls seem to not have any clue on how to get around slow play. We had a 4some in front of us playing what I believe to be the slowest round I've ever seen anywhere in my life; and yet OUR carts were telling us we're '10 minutes behind.' Funny that even the carts were off - we were more than an hour behind, all thanks to the absolute amateur groups of golfers ahead. In short - this course has so much potential. Friendly staff and layout is fun and challenging. However, everyone in the Bay Area knows at this point that they cannot upkeep this course and playing conditions are so bad that it makes for an awful round (and long round because they let 20+ handicaps play from the back tees). This course's reputation is that of a last minute tee time if you can't get anywhere better (again; even San Jose Muni in is better shape 2+ days after rain). Will not come back and will be advising all friends to stay away until they can figure out how to take care of the sloppy mudfest and 6 hour round shitshow they call a 'club.'

If you're a lefty make sure to ask for lefty golf clubs right away before starting the timer. Went here to celebrate my invisible friend's birthday. Invisible meaning he no call no showed but I still celebrated and his party was still fun without him. Brandon, the bay host, made sure of it. He was very attentive & kept us smiling. We ordered the flat bread appetizer & a pitcher of beer. I really like that the pitcher had an ice block that doesn't water down the beer but keeps the drink cold. The flat bread was okay the cheese was just a bit too rubbery for me. The smores dessert was sooooo yummy! It was a freshly baked cookie with toasted marshmallows topped with vanilla ice cream and a grahm cracker. We played the angry birds game. it was a fun way to gain a bunch of points. We had a team offsite here recently and ended up with two of the middle bays up on the 3rd floor. It was nice to be right in the middle for the golf. It was perfect for a work event because everyone got into the friendly competition...even folks who have never played golf. You just log into the tablet at the bay and pick your games - it was hilarious watching everyone try to outscore each other. Food-wise, it's pretty standard bar food, nothing too special but it does the job for a group. We ordered a big spread of pepperoni pizza, nachos, wings, sliders, chips & salsa, and some shrimp. The drinks were solid, though. Most of the team stuck to beers and margaritas, but I went with my usual Old Fashioned (had one with Bulleit and another with Woodford) and both were well-made. Parking was super easy since they have a huge lot. The EV charging stations happened to be out of service when we went, but it's good to know they actually have them for next time. Overall, it was a fun team event and I'd definitely come back.

At first, everything was going well, the food was great, the ambiance was nice, and our server initially seemed attentive. However, the experience quickly became uncomfortable. With about 30 minutes left in our game, our server came over asking us to pay the bill. We politely told him we would pay once we were finished. He then returned again 10 minutes later asking the same thing, then again 5 minutes later, and once more with only 2 minutes left in our game. It honestly felt like he assumed we were going to leave without paying, which was upsetting and unprofessional. To make matters worse, as I was hitting my final ball, he stood next to the computer watching and repeatedly saying, "It's over, it's done." The whole interaction felt very uncomfortable and disrespectful. Unfortunately, we all left feeling singled out and discriminated against, especially since we were the only Latinos there at the time. I've never experienced something like this at a place like Topgolf before, and it completely ruined what should have been a fun night out. Sadly, I don't think we'll be returning.

As someone who plans large company events while juggling a full-time job, I know how stressful it can be to find a space that checks all the boxes: an impressive venue, efficient and friendly staff, ample entertainment options, and reliable vendor connections for everything from catering and music to photo booths, balloons, and even stylish furniture. Club Sportiva delivered on all fronts. Working with Emma, their Event Specialist, was an absolute pleasure. Emma coordinated seamlessly with all our vendors on the night of the event, managed her team with ease, and regularly checked in with me to ensure everything was running smoothly. She stayed until the very end, making sure every detail was handled and that I, as the planner, could actually enjoy the event too.
