The entire course was in great condition including the greens, fairways and club house facilities. Plenty of room for the 60+ attendees at the outdoor eating area, the entire staff was friendly with no issues. Great steak dinner with all the sides & beverages included. The entire experience from start to finish was well planned and affordable for all. I will be back again next year for another great golfing experience.

It's way out there, if you're not from the area & your GPS will take you on a scenic winding road, country detour which is OK in daylight but a nightmare in the pitch dark on the way home. This review is based solely on the clubhouse bar/restaurant, not on the golf course itself. The building is non-descript on the outside, but fairly nice inside with a large bar, dining area, middle room with pool table & back banquet room that looks like a regular basic wedding reception room (essentially what I imagine it's used for)...which is where the band played. There is no actual stage. It was quite busy on a Friday night and the two bartenders were slightly overwhelmed and doing their best to take care of the customers. They actually have a pretty big menu with lots of choices, and I had the fish and chips which was good-a very large piece of fried fish. The Miller Lite on draft was cheap at three dollars a pint. The band had a decent crowd in the back room, mostly older folks, so it was a little strange like playing to an old people's wedding reception, but it worked out & was fun. They look like they have a nice patio attached to the restaurant that overlooks the golf course that will be nice once the weather warms up. If my friends play here again I would stop by but not living in the area doubtful that I will be back until then. Having said that if you live in the area definitely worth a looksee and looks like a decent place to eat or sit at the bar. They have a one of the largest screen TV's I've seen in a bar. The bartenders were friendly despite how busy they were.

The administration and management of this course was a disaster when we had our annual golf outing…read morethere. Not only did they over book the course, we waited over an hour past our tee time to tee off. There was no starter to be found and the ranger was in over his head. He refused to let us go off the back nine when we were told we could prior to the day. To make it worse, they then had our group of nearly 30 golfers do a backwards chaotic shotgun start. It made a complete mess of our scramble. We were at this course a year ago and what a different experience we had this time. The tee boxes were dumpsters filled with debris and weeds. The signs for holes were in a state of disrepair so that we got lost several times. 18 was represented as an 8. The course experienced a storm sometime ago, and tree limbs were down everywhere. It was clearly not recent as most of the leaves on the limbs were dried out and brown. The clubhouse and pro shop smelled awful and musty. The bathrooms on the course we overflowing and disgusting. When we asked management to comp us nine holes for the ridiculousness of the morning, they offered $5. Talk about insulting. We will never return to this crappy course and will make sure the hotel who booked this experience is well aware of the Oak Tree's negligence.

Looks like they aerated them a few weeks ago but doesn't look like they top dressed or reseeded. If they did it didn't take. They did hold a good shot but rough and bumpy putting.Tee boxes in bad shape as well. Fairways nice even though no one replaces their divots. Come on man! Still overall disappointed.

While setting up, the staff was accommodating, they let us arrange the tables and chairs in any way we pleased. They tried to make sure that the family was well satisfied with their experience at the country club. The only problem with the experience was that during the service at some point the AC went out and the room where the service was suddenly became very hot. Overall the experience at the country club was great and would recommend for different events in the Oil City area!

The food they provided for the event was surprisingly quite tasty, and we got to choose the type of hors d'oeuvre 's that we wanted for our service. My only complaint is that it is very hot inside. It's an old building so the air circulation is not the best. So we got very hot in the middle of the service. Other than that, I would recommend this place, especially in the Oil City area.
