So I finally got around to trying this place...finally...and I'm sure glad I did. One might say, It…read morewas on my "gut busting" tour. I walked in for a pilates mat class and walked out with a free one-OH YAH! I arrived a bit early to check out the digs. Bridget was kind enough to give me a tour and inspire me to work hard! Nice industrial space that caters to working off some steam! On the left is the studio for group classes, and on the right is the equipment/reformer room. They must have had like 8 or so machines. It was cool and I assume great for personal training. After my "tour," Bridget set up me up right in front. "Up here" I asked? She smiled, handed me the equipment I needed and wished me good luck. I remember lying nervously awaiting the arrival of the instructor. What was I going to have to do...AND in front of the class...? Wowza! Enter Jocelyn S., whose simple stature and being was very deceiving. She was strong, flexible, and very easy to listen to. I liked the sound of her voice, and she made me feel very comfortable and strong all at the same time. Thanks to Mercy B...I was ready for this class. I loved it, and can see how I will be challenged. Definitely a good core workout and I can't wait to explore options. It's convenient, parking is easy, studio is clean, and staff is great. I am excited. I like that they help you with breathing, posture, strength, and flexibility. Sign me up for a package...core strength here I come!

I have done Pilates/Gyrotonic/Gyrokinesis with Alexis…read more I found Alexis during Covid and she was happy to teach me Gyrokinesis lessons via Zoom even though I was the only one to come to her class. (Gyrokinesis uses rhythmic, flowing and circular movements.) I love Alexis! She is so positive and if you can't get a move the first time, she'll break it down and help you be successful. Her lessons during Covid cheered me up and helped my body feel better. Now I take in-person Gyrotonic personal training sessions (like Gyrokinesis but on a machine). These sessions have helped my back. and Alexis is one of the best trainers/instructors I've ever worked with.

I am disappointed with the lack of clarity and communication about billing. During the intake process, I was assured that the facility would handle billing directly with my insurance and secure pre-approval. I was also informed that I would likely only need to pay my deductible. However, there seemed to be significant pressure to schedule an appointment without addressing the billing in detail. Even after claims were not submitted correctly, I continued to receive follow-up calls encouraging me to schedule appointments, with the understanding that the facility was still working on my insurance coverage. To my surprise, my insurance covered a much smaller amount than usual for out-of-network sessions, especially given that I have previously had a different experience with out-of-network physical therapy providers. Additionally, my insurance showed that the provider had agreed to collect a specific dollar amount per visit, but I was still billed the full amount. I gave PhysioFit the opportunity to resolve this issue. My issue was left unresolved and dissatisfied. I was only requesting a refund for the amount that was agreed upon through the insurance claim.
