Spring fresh has been cleaning my house since 2008. My first team was 2 sisters one got very sick so another lady joined the one other sister and that's the same two I've had for years. Yes occasionally 1 is out and will have a sub. These ladies work hard but still have a pleasant attitude. They come in do their job and leave . I have had my own business so I know how hard it is to get good people. Owner must be doing something right to keep employees happy enough to stay. I have had different companies over the years never kept very long different people all the time. I read the reviews very Surprised with the bad ones. As I said not easy to get good people and sometimes you will get some that you have to weed out. For myself as long as I am happy with my team I will continue with Spring Fresh. read more

They do an excellent job and are very efficient. I feel they are trustworthy and they even deal with our little pups during the winter when it was too cold to go outside. After trying out another local company for a few weeks, we decided to check out Spring Fresh based on a referral from a friend. In doing the initial walk-thru, I was very up front about the areas in which the other company had failed to meet my expectations. Randy agreed that my expectations were not unreasonable and were things that should have been taken care of - for example, several visits and no cleaning of window ledges in the middle of summer with a bunch of nats flying around...come on, that should be obvious. You couldn't miss the carcasses. Anyway, Randy took very precise notes of my complaints which was shared with the team that arrived. Like many local services, I like that they will have the same team come out on a regular basis (aside from days off and such). So, Bernice and Ingrid knew exactly what I expected and they definitely exceeded my expectations. They do a top to bottom cleaning and since I work from home, I was able to witness some of it first hand. They cleaned the blinds starting at the top, got all spiderwebs from the ceilings (yes, there were still some after several visits from the other company), and spent extra time on the high traffic areas of our home. The other company was in and out in barely over an hour...not enough for a 2500 sq ft house with 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. Spring Fresh spent nearly 4 hours! Yes, this was an initial cleaning to make up for what had been lacking, but I do expect the norm for them to still be a few hours. Finally, I am getting my money's worth! Spring Fresh will definitely be our long term housekeeping service. read more

I honestly don't even know where to begin with this company, I'm pretty sure they don't know they meaning of the word clean. I hired them to do a move out clean for a house we are purchasing. The people who rented it before did not leave the house in very good shape, so I hired Spring Fresh. I was out of town when they came the first time, and had my sister bring a check for the total of $370. When I came home to check their work I was horrified at what I found, and literally cried. The first thing I noticed was the brand new oven was still filthy. Next was the dishwasher which was never even touched, there was some sort of liquid dripped down the side of the door. When I had my consult she specifically asked me if I wanted the appliances cleaned and I said yes. The base boards and counters in the kitchen were filthy. None of the ceiling fans had been touched. The light switch covers were dirty. The showers in every bathroom were dirty and one even had dirty footprints in them. The laundry room sink remained filthy. They made an attempt at the toilets but it wasn't a very good one. We had the floors professionally done by another company and most baseboards didn't need to be cleaned because we are ripping them out, but it still took them 5 hours and it looked like a 45 min job. After I picked my job up off the floor I called to have them come back and they sent the same 2 girls, and I honestly don't think they did anything on their 2nd trip, except they made another attempt at the stove top. I came there to find it just as dirty so I called back the manager, she personally came this time and I pointed out everything that I wanted cleaned. She told me the stove top wouldn't come clean and kindly left me a bottle of oven cleaner to do it myself, after I paid them almost $400!!! She left and then came back a 4th time, as she was getting ready to leave I caught her because the ceiling fans still were not done, at this point she argued with me saying she thought it was just the kitchen and bathrooms. After arguing with me she made me bring in a step stool so she could clean them and then just left sitting up under the ceiling fan. She also left dirty Clorox wipes sitting on the counter. At this point I still was not satisfied but after 4 times just could not deal with this company any more. I was able to get the stove top cleaned myself, that she insisted was permanently dirty. My fiance and I got Married and needed someone to clean both homes so we could combine into one. We called Spring Fresh and were on a short notice - they got us in that week - did both homes and my wife could not believe what a great job they did. Her landlord where she was renting said he had never had a home turned back over that clean. My home was in great shape too!! I give them two stars for showing up promptly on time for a meeting. However, they are not a personal housekeeping service. They have a list of what they will and will not do. I am looking for twice weekly service which would include mopping the floor and cleaning out our cat box. On the website there is a form to fill out where they do ask how many pets you have. I find it odd that they would ask that if they are not willing to clean a cat box. I understand that it's not a fun job, but it is part of cleaning my home. I am extremely disappointed that they wasted my time and didn't mention that prior to coming to my home. Not only was it a waste of my time and theirs, but I also am now back to calling other services when I could have just passed over theirs. If you are looking for a basic cleaning service that just sticks to their own list of tasks, you might be ok. read more

We needed a deep cleaning on our house for an important event. I called and spoke to Randy. He scheduled me on the first phone call. He was professional and pleasant to talk to. He was able to schedule our cleaning just a few days later. The morning of our appointment the ladies who came were a little late due to getting lost, but in all fairness, the road signs in Fernley are not that great. I was feeling a little guilty for "indulging" in someone to clean our house until I saw the work that Lucy and Gaby performed. Honestly, I could have and never would have been able to get our house so clean! It is like it was on the first day we moved in. Not only were all of the basics cleaned wonderfully but they went above and beyond the call of duty! Our stove gas burners that I have never been able to get clean they were able to. They cleaned our washer and dryer, the underneath of the stove hood (who does that?), our small appliances on our kitchen countertop, all of the cabinets throughout our house, the doors, window sills, they even cleaned under everything on his RC Car work surface. I cannot recommend Spring Fresh Cleaning Service enough. I wholeheartedly believe in this company so much that I am giving Randy my cell phone number so potential clients can call me for a recommendation. Hugely impressive! read more

Had our house cleaned three times by this company. The first two times was by a mother/daughter duo. They seemed sweet, and we were satisfied with the job. Always tipped them, and even gave them fresh eggs from our chickens. The third time our house was cleaned by the daughter and another younger girl. As always, we thought we were satisfied with the job. However, that same day after they had left, I went to take a pain pill. 6 pills were missing. Yes, I count my pills. No, we do not have our pills locked up. Didn't think we would ever have to do that since it's just my husband and I. So, we call and speak to the manager. She says she wants to investigate the situation. We get a call back from the manager that the girls claimed they didn't do it and they had never had a problem like this before. Then the house cleaners had the audacity to come to my house and apologize that someone took my pills. Um thanks? When we went to cancel further cleanings with them they made no effort to keep us as customers. Definitely will not recommend this company. Actually, already told a lot of my friends and acquaintances at work about the incident. read more

I am being polite with 2 stars because I was pleased with the cleaning staff. The house was not the cleanest it's ever been but it was okay and the price was reasonable. The office staff leaves much to be desired. I have had to call them twice to discuss scheduling issues and have been met with hostility both times. Twice I requested a call from the owner, Randy, and never got one (I'm not sure he ever got my messages). We cancelled our service after about 6 months. I recently sent the owner an e-mail hoping that if I was able to circumvent the office staff it might actually get to him. If you are looking for a cleaning service, there are other ones out there that will cause less headaches. read more

I called one week in advance to book a cleaning and was given a one hour time frame that we both agreed upon. Then, I received a call the day before the cleaning giving me another timeframe that wouldn't work. When I pointed out the original time, I was told "sorry but we schedule the cleanings out the day before." Do not waste your money. At first they were great then little by little things started to decline. They were either late each time or just decided not to come. Supposedly there care broke down and they did not bother to call their boss. When I called to find out what was going on the owner said their car broke down. When I asked about them calling her she said yes it is a constant problem. Then before we let them go they were using our products to clean the house when we paying for them to use theirs. I have been using Spring Fresh Cleaning Service for 3+ years now. They were originally recommended to me by a realtor friend who uses them to do deep cleanings when she sells a property. I have never been disappointed from the day of that original deep clean. They generally clean our whole house, but once in a while, I will do just specific parts of the house -- i.e.: if I am having a party, I will have them focus on just the main living areas. I have a good sized house with a lot of places for dirt to hide, a slew of animals and 3 kids. I use Spring Fresh on what they call an "on-call" basis, but roughly 10-12 times per year. The cleaners rotate a bit, which I don't mind because I feel like it is a fresh set of eyes every time; they have always been professional and courteous and I have never had a problem with scheduling, quality or timeliness. Once in a while they will call to let me know they are running late because another house ran over. It has never been a problem. My house sparkles when they leave, every time without fail. Highly recommend and I would never use anyone else in Reno. I have never had any problems with them not being there on the day they were scheduled and everyone I have dealt with at the home office has always been pleasant and professional. read more

I used this service for about 4 years. They are very expensive but I was always happy with the cleaning. My home is 1300 sq. ft, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, single story. I usually paid around $200-$250 depending on how much attention the house needed. My last interaction with them is what caused me to never use them again. I called to schedule an apt. and I was told I couldn't pick a day or time. They would call me the day before to let me know they'd come the next day and also to tell me the time. I work full time so this isn't realistic for me. I questioned it because I never heard this in the four years I used them. They literally said "No offense but our regular customers are more important. We can't guarantee you a day/time because we need to save that for them." I was pretty offended by this as I used them for the last 4 years and hadn't had an issue. They wanted $120 a month to do monthly cleaning which I couldn't afford so I'd used them periodically throughout the year. Anyway I complained to Randy who told me his scheduler has worked for him for 11 years and he trusts her judgement. I can no longer use them due to how rude the scheduler was. I switched over to American Housekeeping; they are cheaper and they come on the day/time that I request. I had my whole house double cleaned for $159. read more
