If you have questions or needs they try to help all that they can. We had a spot that has a water issue and they attended to us immediately and gave us a different spot and checked to make sure we were good to go. Yes there is interstate noise but by about 9pm it's not noticeable and didn't keep us or our fur kids awake. Yes, there is a few businesses across the street. One makes some noise on the weekdays during business hrs. Nothing to be uptight about. We have loved the dog park. Great way to get some of the puppy energy ran out. They have bags for easy clean up. They have a small inventory of quick foods you can cook. Propane on site. Now these are Full Hook up sites but if you're on your way out you can stop at the dump station. Lighten up your load. There are a few areas to entertain the young ones and older ones alike. There are fire pits to rent they only ask that you NOT put it on the grass only the gravel. Why burn up the grass?!! There is a pavilion that is open 24/7 that has a full sized stove and tables with chairs. Oh and the table tennis table. They have a pool that closes mid September. The grounds are kept nice and clean and the bathrooms have showers. The laundry room is clean and awesome. What isn't ok is the $25 per dog charge. I don't even pay that in CA where everyone in the south seems to think we are made of money and pay over the top for everything! But the park is nice for a nights stop over. Time will tell if the highway noise or nearby industrial park that reviewers have mentioned bothers us! I always have ear plugs in the RV so I'm sure I'll be fine!

Lots of picnic tables and places for kids to have fun! The small relatively clear Southern lake had a couple of fishing boats working the shores. The lake is chock full of bass. Fingerling bass line the shore line and 1-3 pounders were seen in the water everywhere. The trails take you up along the ridges and other areas walk you along the dam and lakeshore. The afternoon sun is filtered through the trees giving a warm greenish yellow backdrop. The shady areas are beyond restful and recharged me for another day!

There is a campground/RV park in behind the bar and General Store. Very clean and well maintained. I've stayed there a couple of nights in the past. I've been told that on Tuesday's they have an amazing steak dinner. I've never been there for that, but I'm looking forward very much to trying it soon. They have…read moreover 100 camp sites, bath/shower house, pool, store, bar, live band, pavilion, they cook every weekend night. Very family oriented unless you decide to go to the bar that is. The owner Mary was very accommodating to our family and always very warm and welcoming when we stopped in the store. All the campers were the same. We were tent camping but Mary let us set up in front of a rental camper so we could use the electric to charge to boat and she was even gave us access to the camper to use the restroom and wash our dishes. She ever notified us that a neighboring camper was putting their camper up for sale and was just what we were looking for. We are now considering buying the camper and having a place up there of our own.

I certainly understand a penalty for canceling but full charge seemed heartless under our circumstances. Yes, they are a business and must make money but life happens and a little understanding would have gone a long way. My advice is don't plan ahead, if they have your credit card they will charge it all upfront and you won't get a dime back.

We have been visiting Radnor lake for years and it is one of our favorite places to walk and feel…read moreconnected with nature while also still being close to the city. We always enter from the "access trail" side. It is a smaller parking lot but we like coming in from this side. Depending on what time you get there, you may have a slight wait time to park but it is usually pretty quick and efficient. We usually arrive before 8:30am and have had no problem finding a spot. There are I believe at least 2 handicap spots at this entrance. They also have bathrooms available that are always clean and kept up. At the main entrance, entering from (otter creek). There is a welcome center with information and a small gift shop. Before bringing a stroller we would always go on the trail through the park woods but now with our baby and taking a stroller we take the paved path which was just redone and is SO nice!!! Strollers and bikes are not permitted on the dirt path so keep that in mind. There is so much beauty to look at while enjoying a nice peaceful walk. Eagles, owls, deer, frogs, turtles, birds, and more creatures to look at all while visiting Radnor. It is a staple as a local to get outdoors and into fresh air. Great place to take kids or any family that is visiting or even a great place to go on a nice solo long walk.

Visited with my husband and 3 kids (ages 4, 3, and 20 months) on a holiday weekend around 9 a.m…read more There are two entrances -- we used the one off Franklin Rd. This parking lot is smaller, but we were surprised to find a spot easily. When we left around 10:45, there was a line of about 6 cars waiting, though cars seemed to move through fairly quickly. There is a nice bathroom at the top of the parking lot. From this entrance, you can also access the trail along the lake, though strollers and dogs are not allowed on that trail. We chose the lower paved trail instead (part of the mulch trail loop). It's wide -- almost road-sized -- and newly paved the entire way. It took about 15 minutes to reach the lake, and there's plenty more paved trail beyond that. We saw frogs, ducks, turtles, deer, an owl, and even a bald eagle. My kids stayed engaged the whole time. The trail was flat and easy for stroller pushing, and my older kids rode scooters without any issues. There were lots of families, dogs, and walkers out, but it never felt overcrowded. Overall, this is a great near-the-city option for getting young kids into nature without dealing with steep terrain. The other entrance off Granny White has the visitor center and a bit more parking.
