If you have questions or needs they try to help all that they can. We had a spot that has a water issue and they attended to us immediately and gave us a different spot and checked to make sure we were good to go. Yes there is interstate noise but by about 9pm it's not noticeable and didn't keep us or our fur kids awake. Yes, there is a few businesses across the street. One makes some noise on the weekdays during business hrs. Nothing to be uptight about. We have loved the dog park. Great way to get some of the puppy energy ran out. They have bags for easy clean up. They have a small inventory of quick foods you can cook. Propane on site. Now these are Full Hook up sites but if you're on your way out you can stop at the dump station. Lighten up your load. There are a few areas to entertain the young ones and older ones alike. There are fire pits to rent they only ask that you NOT put it on the grass only the gravel. Why burn up the grass?!! There is a pavilion that is open 24/7 that has a full sized stove and tables with chairs. Oh and the table tennis table. They have a pool that closes mid September. The grounds are kept nice and clean and the bathrooms have showers. The laundry room is clean and awesome. If your are able to visit this gem of a place tell the staff hello and let them know how much you appreciate all they do. Thank you Clarksville RV Resort.

What isn't ok is the $25 per dog charge. I don't even pay that in CA where everyone in the south seems to think we are made of money and pay over the top for everything! But the park is nice for a nights stop over. Time will tell if the highway noise or nearby industrial park that reviewers have mentioned bothers us! I always have ear plugs in the RV so I'm sure I'll be fine!

As soon as we walked in, Antonio greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality, even though the hour was late. He made sure we had everything we needed, setting a positive tone for our stay. Lavette was equally fantastic, showcasing the amazing staff they have here. The hotel itself is absolutely charming, exuding a cozy and inviting ambiance that I found more appealing than many high-end hotels. The lobby and room decor felt like a perfect blend of style and comfort. Let's talk about the beds - wow! They are incredibly comfortable, and I honestly found myself wishing I could take one home. The covers are just the right weight, keeping you snug and warm throughout the night. Plus, the rooms are impeccably clean and visually pleasing, making it hard to leave. However, she also stated they just had the hotel sprayed for bugs the week before. I contacted Priceline.com which I booked the reservation. Our server was friendly but from when we sat down the wait time was slower than a normal restaurant. The host sat us and we waited a little over 5 minutes before our server arrived. One of the first things she asked us was if we had moved from a different table or if someone sat us there. Which alludes to some miscommunication on their part. She was attentive but it seemed as if she was frazzled which confused me because the restaurant was not busy at all. Overall it was good for the price of a breakfast buffet. But it wouldn't be at the top of my list for brunch.

I absolutely love that the L&N Train Station has reopened. ( We had photos taken here fifteen years…read moreago! ) Although I missed the official Grand Opening, I made sure to make a trip and bring the whole family. I have been here several times and with my son, but have never been inside the station. We were greeted as we walked up (the ramp). So welcoming! Large, clean spaces inside the newly renovated / updated interior with few relics of what once was. The two bathrooms are huge plus the new little kitchen is great for the space as it is available for rent (via Clarksville Parks & Recreation). Simple and comfortable (fully air-conditioned) for any event. We walked through looking at each display and reading the banners about the history of the L&N train and its significance. So great to have this historical piece still available for the public. They are only open two days (Tuesday and Thursday) from 10AM to 3PM. My son enjoyed exploring the train car. They have a step stool, if needed. Luckily, he is light enough to be lifted up onto the train. We did not stay long as it is very hot today. Going back into the station was perfect for a bathroom break and to cool off before going to get lunch downtown! Check out my pix... also, the little playground nearby has been renovated recently. Covered picnic table for when it's a tad cooler (for us) to enjoy while littles can play. Free parking and entrance. Go support a piece of our local history!
