Though they advertise as a place that offers month to month business, my husband and I were offering them a guaranteed month to month business for a good bit of time while working in the area, however long they would work with us on, bouncing to another place if we exceeded their desired amount of time, and both people we spoke with - a woman one day and a man named Justin another, were very rude and "uppity/snooty". We have a 2023 Primetime Sanibel Widebody 5th wheel, 43 feet in length, very nice condition, and are two professional people (my husband an Operations Manager for a billboard company and I a Bid/Dept Manager for a Food Distributor, with a combined income of over $175k per year) and their response was "we wouldn't be a good fit" after we spoke with them guaranteeing we would abide by their strict rules. When we mentioned we may once in a blue moon babysit our grandkids while there, before I even finished my sentence, we were given a very terse response which was a strong indicator they do not want kids there. Obviously not family friendly. They mentioned not wanting "trashy trailers" and "trailer trash" type people in their campground - of which we aren't, but wow, the judgement - and that they currently have some campers they are "trying to be rid of", so camp with ease or expect to be thrown out. They want only new campers there, and royalty. I guess if you take a stab at them you'll have to see if you meet their high standards or contrarily meet their definition of "trailer trash". Beware, if your camper, though well maintianed yet only a 2021 model, you're trailer trash. Again, very picky, very high standards, strict rules, unbending, uppity, and just rude with a "holier than though" attitude. Apparently not very interested in keeping their business running either. We drove through the park on 4/20/26 and over half their campsites were empty. I wonder why. Yet, they turn down guaranteed month to month business for a time we were willing to allow them to designate. We will gladly take our business elsewhere to a much friendlier staff at a nicer, more secure campground nearby we have recently learned of - where we won't have to listen to trains pass behind us all day, and can watch kids be kids and play. Sad thing is, we've given them our business before while in Columbus, but never will again, and will tell all we know of a large group of campers we are affiliated with of their rude, snooty ways. Traveling through the area? I'd recommend staying elsewhere. Corps of Engineer parks on nearby West Point Lake (Amity, Shaefer Hard, Holiday, and WhiteTail Ridge), a campground on nearby Lake Harding (Blanton Creek), two near Fort Benning (one GA side - Camp David, the other AL side), one in Fort Benning (Uchee Creek), a KOA in nearby Americus, Ga and Auburn RV Resort in nearby Auburn, AL to name just a few. That is, unless you like to hobknob with the snooty folk.

We lived there about five months while my husband worked at the plant.. And by the way, my husband has nothing to do with this review. I'm about to write.. I have pondered on it for a month.. Let me explain. I have been sick for nearly a year, I have liver disease. Sometimes I can barely walk and sometimes I'm laid up up in the bed four days. I didn't have no insurance at the time so I ordered my medicine online as it was cheaper. We were told that we could have our mail sent there to the RV park. Now I'm not saying I'm not wrong in this. I have my wrongs.. We moved in about June.. Problem started immediately. I could be doing nothing and still he had some attitude and talk to me like I was trash. He just built a new place for the trailers to park well one time my husband just got off work working 10 hours and another rig was pulling in so my husband thought well I could go take this road. It'll be fine. Its not a big deal.. (again we meant no harm) A couple days later, I went to pay our rent and Keith laid into me for my husband taking that dirt road that he didn't know that he wasn't supposed to take. Instead of going to the man, he treated the woman a sick woman like crap. This is where I will admit I was wrong. I want to say October 30th I got a notification that my package was delivered a.k.a. my medication. Normally, Stephanie or whoever will take the mail from the regular mailbox and put it into the mailbox under the cider tree. I hadn't ate in three months and I am crying while writing this review. I got a notification that my medicine was delivered. I know that you're not supposed to go in anybody else's mailbox or whatever but I was headed out to put gas to my truck anyway and it was on the way now before I got there. I texted him no answer., I called him no answer so I just stopped at the mailbox, my package always comes in a little brown envelope. I seen my little brown envelope. I gently pulled it. I didn't pull anybody else's stuff out.. I got back in my truck and I left to go get my gas, not even two seconds later, he was calling back my phone. I explained to him who I was, and what was going on. I was chipper and smiles when I answer that call. I explained to him what I did Word for Word for what I just told everyone of y'all. He like nobody's business. I am a woman. I was desperate. I would have never went and got my mail if I wasn't just so hungry, but I couldn't eat. I knew as soon as I took the medicine that I was going to be able to have an appetite again.. Every time I try to explain myself to him, he cut me off. He was so mean and so ugly. I'm not that person I don't go looking for trouble. I'm not a thief or a liar.. And you made me feel like both that day. Even though I knew I didn't do anything intentional.. Who do you think you are yelling at another woman? Someone else's wife? You are blessed my husband is a changed man. I did not really think it was gonna go that way. We hung up but not without him saying we will deal with this later first and I went to the gas station and cried for 15 minutes. I don't think he would have ever talked to my husband or any of the roadie hands at that park the way he spoke to me. We got an eviction notice about a month later. Why didn't you give me the eviction notice that day or the next day if I was so horrible why'd you wait a whole month? We didn't even wait the entire month. We paid our rent for November and we left November 14th.. We had till November 30th and you have yet to refund our payment for that two weeks. I did not recommend anybody, especially a woman going and staying at the park. Keith, the way you spoke to me was disgusting. I told you that I'll tell you now, I meant no harm. I am not that person that goes around looking for trouble. I don't know why you hated me and spoke to me the way you did but God bless you. I see you a church going man too. You probably should be the first one at the altar. Thank you for causing more problems for me for something I did not even realize was gonna turn into something so big. Is this how you talk to your wife? You are a sad excuse for a man, much less than business owner. Now I know why people video record everything because if I would've knew what I know now I would've recorded that conversation and how you spoke to me. Have the day you deserve. I suggest you refund the two weeks you owe us. And furthermore, he couldn't even deliver the eviction notice to my husband, he had his little helper Stephanie another woman do it and by the way, I'm not saying anything bad about Stephanie to my face. She was great. You are a coward my friend and I hope you never get any more business from a real roadie hand. But you owe us two weeks. . Again, thank you and have your day.

The owner of the park comes up to him and asked how our son is doing, then hands him home made pound cake and said he is praying for us and our son. Told us to have some coffee and the cake and relax some. This may not be the biggest or elaborate park we have stayed in but the service and compassion from the people here is above 5 stars. If you are ever in Forsyth, Georgia please stay at L&D RV Park. The owner's are new and have big plans for this park and with a heart as big as theirs I know it will only get bigger and better. The sites are pull thru with 20/30/50 amp, sewer and water. They have a pool, laundry room, and very clean bathrooms. A covered picnic table area, and grass area to walk the dogs. Very quiet and friendly people.

We couldn't find the site at first. When we drove through they had very cute mini house-teepee like buildings for glamoing but we had just reserved a tent site. Someone drove by on a golf cart and was able to take us back to the site. It was right there on the right, you just have to drive through the grass right across from the outhouse, which I wouldn't have known haha and there weren't many signs but the hosts were very nice! The site was so cute it was on grass and there were trees kind of in a semi-circle around it. Perfect for privacy but also not deep in the woods or anything. We parked right there and had a fire pit as well as a covered platform for the tent (great if it were to have rained, and to keep the tent off the ground). We also had a picnic table. I really loved this site it was definitely one of my favorites and far exceeded my expectations. We were just looking for somewhere to camp after going to Providence Canyon, but this place was so nice I would drive all the way back just to go here. The price was very cheap and the outhouse was also really nice actually with showers and everything! There were animals in the field behind us which was cute and there was the option to meet them as well. We didn't take that but I think it's a cool thing you could do! 10/10 recommend!!

This camp ground seems to be very popular and was nearly filled - it appears the larger rigs are in the rear of this campground and longer term guess upfront. Like a lot of KOA's the site are fairly close together and the roads are narrow, maneuvering our 40' Class A Bus plus the toad through the campground was like threading a needle and it seems I collected a few pine needles and vines getting to our site. I don't remember the speed limit but I kept it around 5 mph and even then I had to show down to miss some bad pavement and camper vehicles but got through it. Our site was #123 it was long enough to accommodate our rig and tow vehicle but with little room to spare. The full hook ups were in good shape, the sewer hose fittings were in good repair, the 50 amp receptacle was well protected from any weather and the breakers were open when we arrived and the water pressure was adequate. The check-in lane is on a steep incline so make sure to set your brake there is not a lot of room to park or maneuver in front of the office and a gate code is required to enter the park. You'll exit onto a service road with a blind hill to the left while exiting so a co-pilot is almost a must due to the angle and the traffic - it worked okay for an overnight stay but I'll probably choose one of the many parks in the immediate area if I were staying longer...
