Mehhhhh. I was excited to try this car wash because 1.) It's open 24 hours and 2.) It has a touchless automatic wash. I went in the middle of the afternoon on a Tuesday. I wasn't expecting it to be too busy, but I was wrong. There are three services to choose from: 1.) Touchless Automatic Wash 2.) Soft Cloth Wash 3.) Self-Service Wash and Detailing The touchless and soft cloth washes have different options ranging from $10 (basic wash) to $18 (platinum wash with multiple add-ons like triple foam protectant, lava bath, etc.) They also have monthly memberships and packages so you can save $$. You pull up to the designated lane, select your service, pay at the machine, and follow the instructions at the bay entrance. There are also self-service bays for washing your car's exterior and self-service parking spots for cleaning the interior. There's a time limit but of course everyone wants to take their sweet time. There are vending machines for different services like wax, soap, conditioner, rinse, tire foam, vacuum, towels, sponges, glass wipes, etc. Cost is around $1-$2.50 per service and you're paying for every 1-2 minutes. So you have to keep putting money in to extend time... You can easily spend a lot of money here if you're not mindful of the timer. Bring cash with you since most machines don't accept card. There's also a change machine. I opted for the touchless wash. The instructions are simple to follow. It'll tell you when to enter and stop. Once you enter, you put your car in park. The list of washing steps are displayed on a small screen to your left. A robotic arm surrounds your entire vehicle, washing, rinsing, and dispensing any products. The whole process is less than 10 minutes. After the wash is complete, you have 60 seconds to dry your vehicle with hi-velocity dryers... so DRIVE VERRRRRRRRRRY SLOWLY. After exiting the touchless wash, I parked my car in a self-service spot for interior cleaning. Some of the dirt was off my car, but it wasn't as clean as I would have liked it to be... There were areas that still needed attention. I actually finished off the job at home lol. I guess I should have set my expectations accordingly for a touchless wash...it's probably better for in-between washes. I will stick to soft cloth or hand washing in the future. I needed to vacuum my interior, so I paid the $2 for 2 minutes at the machine. The vacuum barely worked and had horrible suction. So I got frustrated and just detailed my car at home LOL. We went in for self service auto wash. You select which kind you want and pay on the machine. Reasonable price. Many machines available. Once the door opens, you advance the car. Wash and dry. Instructions are pretty clear. But no one to wipe down properly with towels. You have to do it. They also offer regular car wash with the staff cleaning at the end. In addition, I do see other customers just power wash (self service) on the other end of the lot. Many service in this car wash. Great place. read more

Was easy to pick a service at the kiosk, paid for Platinum wash using credit card.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The instructions were easy to follow when to drive, when to stop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The robotic arm goes around the whole car. I counted four rounds of soup and rinse. At the end of the wash the door opens and a minute counter in front shows the time at hand to drive slowly out the door while air is blowing. Whole process took about 10 minutes. I was so impressed with the quality of the wash. 98% of the dust and stain were clean up. There were some water droplets left, but it was very easy to wipe them off once I got home. This is an amazing wash specially for Teslas since they get scratches very easily, costing only $18. I'd be visiting here more often now to clean my car. read more

It is about 10 minutes or less...Bear in mind there is a dryer timer on the right which I did not notice and just drove my car out slowly but surely. Definitely, worth the drive to Hackensack if you do not want bristles scratching your paint. Absolutely great. No brushes, no flappers, NOTHING touches your car in the automatic wash! I got the top end service for more pre soaks and it cleaned 4 storms worth of salt off very nicely. Went in for a full car wash, pull my car into the front of the car wash area, asked the guy for full interior and exterior car wash. The guy tells me they are busy so they are only doing the exterior. There are cars behind me and they already sprayed my car so they gave me no choice. Though it was only $10 for the exterior, that is not what I wanted and I could have gone somewhere else if it was marked clearly before I even went in and it was not. The vacuum in the area I pulled into was broken so I pulled into another vacuum area. I swiped two different cards on the vacuum machine and a light turned green but the vacuum would not go on. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had to find someone to help me and they look extremely annoyed that I was even bothering them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The guy made the vacuum machine go on however the vacuum was very weak. It was $2 for 4 minutes and I can tell you because I timed it. That's the fastest 4 minutes ever, and not worth the price since 4 minutes is not a long time to do very much vacuuming. We went at night after dinner time and there was no wait to use the touchless auto machine. Even at night, there are still a couple of car guys detailing their vehicles. To be honest, the wash isn't the most amazing quality compared to hand washing, but users just need to go in with the right expectations. Plus, no need to worry about any brushes scratching your vehicle. I think that it is a good service for those in between comprehensive washes. Basically, when you need to get the salt cleaned off your vehicle, as it also offers under carriage wash. Regular customer for years, many cars. Over the last year, the place has gone downhill, and in addition to a bad experience, I also found they charged me for work not done. Today, I waited 40 minutes in line as they ran with only one employee and the manager pretending to help him, but stopping for breaks constantly. She looked at the cars in line multiple times, and saw my car. So they shouldn't have been shocked when I finally was pulled in, and they told me that they didn't have the oil filter for my car. I asked, okay, so are you getting one from down the block? Or how are you going to make it up to me for the now 45 minutes I've wasted here? She told me I could just leave, and when I asked again how they were taking care of me for their error, she threatened to call the police on me. I went to another oil change place soon after, where they showed me how the last time I had gotten my oil changed, they didn't actually change the filter. Funny, Spotless charged me an extra $14 or so for my filter that time, too. After 20 years of steady business, I'm done. It's a shame they went downhill like this. read more

Spotless has more options on the self service wash than I have ever seen. They vacuums are available while you wait for the stall to open. There are a lot of detailing options available after you finish power washing. It is very confusion getting to the self service area because there are drive - thru washes on both sides of the center driveway. If you're looking for a place to get a quick oil change. This place is definitely the spot to go to especially if you're in need of an oil change, but have kids with you. The place lets you stay in the car while they work. Can not get any better than that. The price is maybe $10-$15 dollars more than the normal oil change from my experience, but it's worth it. At the end of the service they give you a free token which you can use for the self-service car wash that is straight ahead when you pull out of the garage. The staff was very honest with pricing. They originally quoted me $9 extra for the oil, but they adjusted the price since my car took a bit less so I definitely appreciate the honesty. Went here late at night and tried to use the 24 hour car wash (not the self wash). Paid $15 for a platinum wash. Did not receive the car wash. Sign said to drive in but the car wash never came on. I think their car wash system might have been frozen because of the cold weather and therefore did not work. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company. I don't live anywhere near Hackensack and I was driving through so I decided to stop here to get a car wash since it is advertised as 24 hours. Lesson learned. Never again. read more

With very few touchless car washes in the area, this place is really your only option. If you don't know what to expect from a touchless wash, then don't complain about what it can and can't do. Baked-in grime and dirt won't come off completely in a touchless wash, but most of it will. That's the price you pay for not having a bunch of random guys rubbing and grinding debris into your vehicle's clearcoat, or having those disgusting spinning brushes cause billions of microscratches and swirls. During the winter months, when you just need to get that road salt off, a touchless is more than good enough. With that said, this place does the job. The wash soap and other chemicals used in the touchless wash are actually decent, and better than some other touchless places I've been to in the past. My advice, if you're here for the touchless or self serve wash, don't come on a weekend afternoon. You'll be waiting in line for quite a while. Those two options are available 24 hours, so come during off hours. You'll thank me later. read more

Keeping my car clean is something I like to do...on the regular. Living without a driveway makes that task much harder, but places like this tend to negate much of that difficulty. Spotless is pretty much the Times Square of car washes. Kind of one of those all-in-one places, you can get service done, a vacuum, and or a drive-through wash (and drive through touchless) all under the bright lights and neon flashing you would come to expect from a car wash of this magnitude. I prefer to use the self-service bays, and it took a little doing to find this place, but i'm glad I did. Decent water pressure, triple foam wash, and a spotless rinse that actually does what's advertised. To my surprise, there was even a high pressure blowing system to dry your car off with air (my preferred method), and though it comes at an extra cost, I would say it is well worth it. The only downside I saw was that I get fewer seconds per quarter than I am used to, but when all is said and done, its only about $1 or $1.50 more. Nothing crazy. My longstanding belief that the self service bay brushes are the devil remains strong, I wouldn't dare use them. Dirt and rocks and sand find their way in those bristles and will eventually make their way towards scratching your car. If you absolutely must use one, stick to the windows. Overall, this place is a complement to my ideal non-driveway car wash. -Spray wheels with a whitewall and rim cleaner -High pressure soap -High pressure wax -Triple Foam -High pressure rinse -Spotless Go home, break out the waterless car wash (get it on amazon), and use a microfiber to get that tough, baked on grime that no amount of pressure is going to get off. Leaves a shine and waxes simultaneously. Spotless is easy to find, has all the right features (for me), plus a bunch more for those of you who like a little more out of your car washing experience. Plus, their coin machine changes $20. Why I would ever need that many quarters I do not know, but relax with the knowledge that you don't have to come in with the standard supply of 1s and $5s to get the job done. read more

Usually run it twice to make sure my car is really clean with all the presoak, wheel cleaning, and shaping done in first 5min. Save yourself from ruining your paint by bringing your own wash mitt. I wouldn't touch the foam brush as its heavily soiled with everyone else's crap (saw a backhoe go thru here fully covered in mud so imagine all his gunk is now going to be rubbed on your car). If anything you can use that foam brush for your wheels . Second $5 I use to rinse, clear coat, final rinse etc. Bring your own microfiber towels and skip the pay dryer. Touchless wash: Costs a bit more than the self wash overall but great overall. Includes an awesome underbody blaster which really soaked the undercarriage - car felt cleaner when driving. Air drying is included and much more useful. All the nozzles work on the Touchless system with excellent pressure. I use this option quite often. Traditional conveyor belt washer: I haven't tried this but the line is always ridiculous on a nice day. I personally can't use it as my roof is wrapped and I can't use any machine washing with brushes such as this machine. That said all the cars coming out look clean and there are staff to dry your car etc when it comes out during business hours All interior cleaning is on you whether before or after. The Touchless and self serve are 24hrs which are great if you don't mind coming at off hours which is what I usually do. Definitely would recommend for anyone as they have something for everyone. Had a much better recent experience. It seems like they had a complete turnaround. The staff was super friendly when I went Friday at lunch time. Whoever assisted was really nice and polite to me. I really appreciated it. Also, all of them were professional as they worked on my car (there actually were a few employees working on my one car since I was the only one there that day). They didn't try to up sell me anything. I actually asked them for help with my wipers and they told me the prices right away honestly. This review is for the self-service car wash only. I've been here many times over the last 4 years. I've not been able to find a self-service car wash in the tri-state area anywhere close to as good as this one. Machines work well, the place is clean and well staffed. I've never felt unsafe here, and the hoses and equipment are set up so as to be unlikely to scratch or damage your car. Only thing to watch out for is the other customers dinging your door in the parking area, but that's an issue anywhere. read more

Touch-less Wash: Finally have a chance to try my car to this Touch-less system, I love the concept of fully automated none contact wash. The set up is simple, pull up to the kiosk, select wash option, drive up follow the light indicator, the machine comes online and do its job. Put your car in park to avoid triggering the parking sensors. Switch wiper from Auto to Off. It will go around your car and work on it from one side to there other. Then follow the 60 sec. air dryer instruction by driving out of the wash bay. A little too quick in my opinion. However if your car hasn't been wash for a couple of months, the salt and road grime will not be completely remove. Thats the one thing I have come to realize after the car is dry off. You'll know it when you run your fingers over it. Additionally, the rinse water could be much better. Bring a drying cloth to remove all water spots as soon as you are out of the wash bay. This method does not clean your wheels is you have heavy break dust. I will consider self wash next time. Never take a risk on using the belt wash guys, learn from my mistake. Especially if you drive a new or nice car that you care. read more

Purchased a monthly wash pass for my car since this wash is around the corner from my apartment. Decent carwash does the job but doesnt give the car that deep clean that some washes do. My one complaint would be that there arent free vacuums like some car washes offer.
