This place is horrible, I have no idea how they are still in business. My team placed a group order for t-shirts, polos, and sweat shirts. We placed it in April and were told a 4-6 week turn around. Well we finally received the order in August. Only four months! The embroidery looked horrible, completely out of place, some shirts had patches on different arms, no uniformity. When I logged on here and saw that this company had a 4 star review average I knew that something was amuck. Sure enough, there are 12 reviews that are filtered out. The great thing about Yelp is that if someone gives you a poor review you can simply flag it and it doesn't average in to your ratings. I can only hope that everyone who looks into this company is wise enough to open the filtered reviews section. Anyways, my husband and I ordered a set of team jerseys and hats for his softball team. The initial process went fairly smoothly. He sent the order to a rep who he communicated with a few times until the order was ready. We provided artwork that we had created ourselves and after a couple of tries their graphic design service was able to recreate what we had provided. We waited about 7 weeks and then he sent an email to the original rep. He received an email back stating that the person was no longer with the company. An excuse about that "being an estimate" was given and nothing else happened. After waiting another week he called and was told that the jerseys and hats had all shipped out. A couple of days passed and he received an email saying that only my jersey had shipped and that the rest were not ready. Then we received the jersey. It was horrible. The colors were wrong, the logo was sized inappropriately, the layout of the background design was off. There was nothing about what was received that looked like the proof they provided or our original artwork. Needless to say, he contacted them and asked them to cancel the order. It had already been 9 weeks by the time the single jersey was received and it was done incorrectly. After numerous back and forth emails their customer service manager (term used loosely) told us that we approved what we got and it was too bad if we didn't like it. He said that they wouldn't give us a refund. We contacted our bank. I personally think this company knows that credit card companies only allow 60 days for a dispute from the closing statement date and waits to send anything until they think enough time has elapsed. That way the only choice a customer would have would be to take whatever they produce. Luckily we called the bank in time to file a dispute with Visa. We still attempted to resolve the issue with Sports 55 but the "customer service manager" sent an email saying that they would fight any dispute that we lodged and that we approved what we got from them. My husband told them not to send the remaining jerseys. Well, I guess they decided to do it anyways. We got those today, BUT STILL NO HATS. They are even worse than the one we already received. They have all of the same problems as the ladies' version AND what look like ink smears and all of the black lettering and outlines are shadowed. Normally you can attach photos to Yelp reviews but I think this feature has been disabled. They've yet to apologize for their company and its terrible service and product. The best part is ... they offered us a NEW, DISCOUNTED ORDER. Their "hands on" owner says below that you can't choose your customers. I have never written a review in my life but had to pass the word on this company. Nick Monroe is my rep. John Eberl is the owner. I did a package deal for my team and paid the order in full on 2/1/2012. It has now been 17 weeks and have not received my gear in its entirety. They refuse to give me a refund for the remaining missing gear because it's in "production". Also nothing in sports55 is done in house except for the jerseys. They use outside vendors oversees for everything else and cannot provide you any update on your stuff except for its in "production" DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I got an email from the owner John stating because I ordered in "peak" season it takes 10-12 weeks. I am now going into 18 weeks. I recently purchased jerseys from this company and I had to apologize to my softball team and the sponsor. My order was taken by a gentleman that is no longer working there, so he did not input a date into the system to expedite the order. So the company told me that I had to wait the regular length of time 6-8 weeks for the order. It took the full 8 weeks and they did not even fold the jerseys, they just stuffed them in a box and sent them. I wish they took more pride in their work. Boombah has great prices and quick turn around times without any additional fees. If they fire a co-worker they will fully honor your order or "make it right..." I would not recommend this company to anybody interested in getting jerseys in a timely manner. read more

Sports 55 fails to deliver in a timely fashion as they advertise. I have waited over 14 weeks after paying over 700 dollars for jerseys. They have provided horrible customer support, frequently not responding to emails and giving false promises of deliver in a short matter of time. This place is horrible! We have been trying to reach Nic our sales rep for almost two months. He is always unavailable. We have tried reaching him multiple times. We sent payment in february after we approved the artwork. they received payment 4 days later. It is now may 21 we called today and they of course no nic. The person we did speak to said maybe two more weeks on the jersey but the pants and hats he has no idea when we will receive those. Please people beware of this place. Just a heads up to stay away from Sports 55 which is now team uniforms 123. Website and process are all still the same. The owners name that I dealt with is John and the Managers name is Nick. My alumni team went through Sports 55 last year for Unis and lets just say it was a nightmare. They still have not fullfilled our order and been jerking me around since last July (almost a year now). So it seems like what they are doing now is saying that they got bought out by Team Uniforms 123 but really they just changed the name. I called the new number and asked for the old guys and they told me to hold on....when they asked who was calling 5 minutes later and I told them it was me,...they then changed thier tune too " that person is no longer invloved with this company!" They havent returned my calls or emails now in months. Anyhow....I could go on and on about how they messed up my order, ie, wrong design, missing items, cheap quality etc, and we are now out all of this money but I just wanted to get the word out to my softball/baseball community here on the island and elsewhere....STAY AWAY FROM THESE CLOWNS! If you are thinking about doing business with this company over the internet you need to close their website down and run the other way. This is as real as it gets give a company a deposit of $250 over paypal for a teams worth of uniforms and after not getting a simple invoice of what I was buying and they couldn't produce one. They just sent another paypal request for $1474.00. This concerned me so I requested a refund and after numerous phone conversations with Nicholas Monroe their sales manager telling me they fired the salesman who was helping me and the prices were not valid anymore and making me pay more and making me feel guilty because I was taking food out of their designs teams mouth for their lack of business sense we came to an agreement that he would provide me with a full refund. Well that was 3 months ago.
