First of all, I have to say, Leonardo is a great barber. Clearly very talented. No complaints with…read morehim at all! I booked an appointment for a haircut and a shave. When I came in, they didn't seem like they expected me. They asked if I was a walk in and I said, no I had an appointment. They said something in Spanish to each other and like kinda shrugged? When I sat down, Leonardo didn't seem to speak much English, so it was a little awkward telling him what kind of haircut I wanted. I was kind of hoping for a little advice/consult since I had the same haircut since I was a kid. Anyway, I got turned away from the mirror for the whole cut so I didn't know how it was gonna come out until the end. In the end though, I was really pleased with how it came out. Something must have gotten crossed up though, because while I got my beard cut with an electric razor, it wasn't the full razor shave I was expecting. I was only charged the $40 for a haircut, but I would have happily paid the $60 I signed up for. Since the barber didn't seem to speak English really well I decided it wasn't worth trying to get the shave, especially since he took so much care with my haircut that he probably didn't have time until his next appointment. Anyway, I was very pleased with the result and the quality of the product I got... I just felt awkward and like I didn't really belong there the whole time I was in the shop.
