I went to Sport Kilts because they had exactly what I was looking for and at a great price. I wanted a kilt for two reasons, one to wear to LA Kings games and two just to wear... I was able to find the exact Kilt for me - The Jolly Roger Works Kilt. I was able to get the summer sale discount of 15% so the kilt was cheaper than I wanted to pay. The guys were excellent and made some additional modifications for me without charge. Well...I also purchased the boots, belt and other things too. In all it was a great experience. I'm very happy with the kilts I've purchased at Sport Kilt. Since I live about 10 minutes away from their HQ/showroom, I've done my purchases in person. Being able to see the kilts in person (as well as to get a good feel for the sizes) definitely helps, so I recommend going in person if you can, just to check it out. However, when I have called with questions, they have always been prompt and courteous. The kilts themselves are great! I have two original Sport Kilts, and both are lightweight and very comfortable. I also recommend looking into their add-ons, such as pockets and belt loops. However, you can add these later, if need be. read more

I have several Kilts from Sport Kilt and I am a very happy customer. Started off with the Marine Corps Tartan and it just escalated from there. I have started the tradition of kilted running among my friends as well. If I am attending a 5k,10k or Half Marathong it is a sure thing I will be rocking my Sport Kilt. After two weeks of silence from Sport Kilt in regards to my custom ordered full dress kilt kit, I emailed for updated information. I got a terse response saying I had ordered so many customizations that my 4 weeks delivery promised would be 8 weeks! 8 weeks is 3 weeks AFTER the wedding I was purchasing for! When I told them 8 weeks wouldn't work for me and that I'd have to take me business elsewhere, I was immediately refunded the price of my purchase. I have been a sportkilt wearer since 2013. I have owned 3 sportkilts: 2x custom (one army tartan, one USA tartan), and recently ordered a Hiking Kilt. my original one from 2013 is absolutely stellar! it is extremely comfortable, well built, well aligned, and has stood up over the years. The material feels absolutely amazing!! My second one (USA) from i believe 2015 wasn't quiet as good, and the material wasn't as soft, in my opinion. The alignment didn't seem as great, and the fit seems a little different... but still a great kilt! Now my latest one (June '22), this hiking kilt that arrived was sub-par. The stitching was all over, the pleats fell out, the waist band is super uncomfortable and the elastic feels like is already stretched to its max. I really liked this company and hope they get their QC back up to standard! read more

After looking around and reading testimonials I ordered a kilt on July 11 with a requested August 10th deadline. Called the Friday before to discover the kilt was not sent or finished. Disappointment #1. Fortunately I had a drop dead date of today the 15th and was promised shipment on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Called wednesday morning to confirm shipping and it still l wasn't shipped. Disappointment #2. Again was promised it would be shipped immediately 2nd day and would arrive today, Friday. I was sent a shipping confirmation early this evening reflecting it was shipped out late today FedEx ground with an arrival date 6 days from now. No longer disappointed, now just straight up pissed off. As a result will not be able to participate in the event which it was purchased for to which I'm flying cross-country, tonight, attend. Which their customer service was made aware of during both phone conversations. If my CC hadn't been charged the day I ordered the kilt I would have stopped payment. WOW! As it turns out, I ordered two items in a size too small. Now I was on a time crunch. Not knowing what to do, I emailed the company. I received a call back within 5 minutes! WOW again! They even told me to indicate in the "notes" section what our delivery deadline was. I ordered there High end kilt at the beginning of March. There delivery time was 3-4 weeks. After 6 weeks I had to contact them to find out they had messed up my order and I would have to wait another 4 to 5 weeks. This means I will not have it in time for the event I bought it for. They did ofter to refund my order but I want my Kilt. Other than putting my order through again or a refund no offer was made on there part to compensate me for there mess up. She's the annoyed woman who answers the phone and gives you long pauses when you ask a question as if you can hear her roll her eyes at you. I wish I could say I had a 5 star experience ... I ordered $600 worth of kilts - that being 4 items. 2 of them were custom made and the others were standard tartan in size Large. I defined the kilts with 34 inch waist which is what I am ... when they arrived the custom made kilts would not even close around my waist. Both were ordered with 34 inch waist and when I held them next to each other, there was a 5 inch difference in the waist between the 2 kilts, that is a huge discrepancy ... so not only were they WAY too small they were off by 5 inches ... my scrawny teenage son could barely get them to wrap around his waist and close and he has a 29 inch waist. In all fairness I was offered to have them tailored but you cannot just 'tailor' 5 inches onto this and I didn't want to pay for a hack-job to repair this - this would ahve to be a total re-do. That and the time and effort for me to mark where the kilt did not fit and have to ship them back and wait longer, I cut my losses of $300 and threw them away. If I ever order another item from here it will be the pre-made non-custom kilt whose sizing is pre-determined. very disappointed :-/ read more

I have Two Kilts from these guys so far and they are really comfortable. My Irish revenge works kilt goes great with a nice button up long sleeve shirt for semi formal events and also works great as an everyday kilt with a T-shirt or polo. My Comfy Kilt is just as it sounds, extremely comfortable. Made Of all flannel it feels great to lounge in out of the shower. I live locally so I had the pleasure of stopping by the business to check out tartans and sizes in person. The owner and all staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you live locally I suggest stopping by, you will not leave empty handed. I found that seeing a lot of these tartans in person helps out tremendously. While the photos on the site are very helpful, some of these patterns really pop when you see them with your own eye in person. It's now the 26th of June, they've closed their offices for the week and aren't shipping anything until the 1st of July. It was supposed to be a birthday present, if I'd known it was going to take them 2 1/2 weeks to ship I would have gone somewhere else.
