Here in Salt Lake City, it seems that all of these gems are packed into a compound just off State Street in South Salt Lake. You'll know you have arrived by the large structure that you drive under to get into the parking lot. You'll find plenty of restaurants, a few other retails shops, a bunch of arcade games and a bakery or two. The main attraction is the supermarket, which I reviewed separately. If you're here just for that, give yourself a few minutes to browse other things as well-you won't regret it. My only complaint is that the parking can be really horrible. It's a good problem-that means there are lots of people visiting, but it would be nice if you didn't have to circle the lot to find a space.

My family stumbled across the City Creek Center in downtown Salt Lake City when we were just…read morelooking for downtown parking and found an underground garage...and then a big Nordstrom's sign right in front of us as we got out of the vehicle. As we poked our heads out from underground like groundhogs, we saw we were in the middle of a giant indoor/outdoor mall. We explored the mall and really enjoyed the naturally lit indoor spaces with wide walkways and nice artificial water features. We ended up spending about 3 hours here visiting stores we've never seen back in AZ. There's 4 different wings and most wings have shops on two floors. They have a large food court with the restaurants spaced where you can easily walk between. There was also plenty of seating indoors and outdoors! There's food places next door and a coffee shop across the way I really like it here when I stopped by and on top of it, they took the most items out of all the uptown cheapskates places I went to! Don't sleep on this one. The selection also has a lot of unique items especially sports wise. I felt like that they had a good selection. I will be coming back, but it is farther from the salt lake area.

SUPER DISAPPOINTING. 6/2/26…read moreThere was a coach purse my daughter saw the workers talking about it and trying on during their work shift and my daughter saw it and was interested in it but was nervous to ask about it so we (myself and my mother in law) asked about the coach purse and they let us look to see the condition and we said we will take it and asked them to hold for us until we were done shopping and they said they would. We continue to shop and then they tell my mother in law that it was actually on hold for someone else and that they were coming to pick it up later. I speak to an employee telling her we will stick around to see if anyone picks it up and if not we will buy it and she was very insistent that this customer was "coming." My daughter waited near the front check-out desk to see if anyone came to pick up the bag the entire time and no one had come and then all of a sudden they said the customer had come, but my daughter never saw them take the bag out or sell it. It was apparent that the entire staff including assistant manager? knew about the situation and were all in on it. I'd really rather go to uptown murray or any other location now. I can't believe they would be this shiesty of human beings. I've recommended this location to my co-workers and friends which have shopped and sold their clothing items here, but I will definitely be notifying them of this situation and recommending they go elsewhere. Shiesty people aren't trustworthy. I'll take my recommendations, money and clothing elsewhere.

All tags were the on it including the Koo De Ker label. I was asked by the young woman if I had the receipt. I said, no it was a gift and I wanted to exchange for a smaller size. She indicated that I was too late to return or exchange. She could even get up off her perch to see if their was one that I could buy (and sell the other one on Posh Mark). Unbelievable! It's not like I've waited until February to bring something back. Koo De Ker should mark on their labels their return policy on gifts! As I left I said, "I guess I won't be back, but you don't even care". Her response was "no I don't". I get it! It's a small boutique store but SERIOUSLY! I would suggest to the owner to do a little training. But then again, perhaps she doesn't CARE either.
