The store offers a variety of one-of-a-kind leather and fur pieces, so the likelihood of running into someone wearing the same item is extremely low. The craftsmanship of the leather and fur pieces is refined - one can tell meticulous work had been poured into the products. The quality of the fur and leather spoke for themselves. It was fun shopping with Paul, the owner. He helped us find pieces that complemented us and went the extra mile to make sure that we loved the items and were comfortable in them. Paul was very generous in sharing his knowledge about fur with us. We learned about the different types of fur and their wearability. We highly recommend that you drop by Norsk if you are visiting Park City. You will have a wonderful time. With the many offerings in the store, definitely give yourself ample time to thoroughly enjoy the collection.

Truly a FIVE star experience from the moment you come in and ongoing! We were visiting Park City…read moreand just happened to walk in never expecting such an amazing store and great customer service. We are from Austin, TX so there's no shortage of custom hat stores, but it was partly the experience that had us buying hats here. We worked with Hannah and all I can say is if you are working with her... you ARE going to buy a hat. She's very good at reading people and picking out what would go best for each individual down to the color and style of the hat. But mind you, this is not ordinary experience. It's extremely personalized to each individual; not just the fitting for proper size, color that works best but the shaping. I think I've spent less time buying a new car and that's not meant to be negative. Rather just to emphasize the personal attention you receive when you want to check out the hats. They have so many colors and style variations for you to look at, but regardless, if you already know how you want your hat to look, they can style it. When you pick out the color you want, you are going to be a basic hat with a flat brim and a round crown. So don't be shocked when they bring out the new, unshaped hat. Right in front of you, they will shape it to the exact style you want and it's really an impressive process to watch. One of the most impressive things was changing the size of the brim. We wanted the brim just a little smaller than the stock hat. They will measure it down to an 1/8th of an inch and after they cut it, you would never know the hat didn't come that way originally. Again, the transformation from the stock hat to the one you take with you is an amazing process to watch. And something I haven't ever seen before, they will actually "brand" your hat if you want. Think of branding like a cow get branded; they have these little branding irons and we chose to get our initials branded on the underside of the brim. A very nice personalization and a great way to make sure someone else doesn't accidentally pick up your hat! They have a wide array of hat bands anything from a very basic but nice hatband that comes with the purchase of the hat, to hand etched solid leather bands with silver buckles for the same price (and sometimes more) as the hat. But when you look at the history of the Burns Western apparel (since 1876), it's clear the quality of the material and craftsmanship. Don't be shocked by the price; again, this is a quality hat that is going to last a lifetime and people will recognize the quality. In the first day after getting the hat, we received so many comments from people passing wanting to know where we got the hat from. If you came to Park City and weren't prepared to carry something like this back on the plane... not to worry. When we finished our trip, we returned to the store and they will put the hat in a nice protective box and ship to your home address so there no worry about how you are going to carry this on a plane. We are already planning another trip in March to Park City and we won't leave before visiting Burns Cowboy Shop to pick up another hat! Everyone here is very nice and helpful, but ask for Hannah. She is so knowledgeable and fun to work with. But one warning... if Hannah helps you... you ARE going to buy a hat :) she doesn't pressure, but she knows the hats so well, you are going to feel like something is missing if you don't get one of these hats. We couldn't be happier and you don't have to live in Texas or Utah. You can wear this in New York, Chicago or Miami and people are going to recognize a quality of piece of headwear.

Wiiiiiiiiiilsooooooooonnnn!…read more I have good luck with the name Wilson. Love the film "Cast Away," my best friend as a small lad was Jimmy Wilson, I'm a Seahawks fan and love Russell Wilson, and Wilson's is the store I go for anything leather. Granted, gone are the 80s days where the brown leather bomber jacket was the in trend amongst my fellow teenagers, but Wilson's is still packed with Leatherheads. Black and brown jackets: Bomber, faded, blazer, detailed seams, embossed, antique, retro, and a whole lot more. There's also plenty of jackets for the women, who get the added bonus of several jackets with varying degrees of fringes, quilting, and lace. My personal faves come in the accessories. My wallet, my satchel, and a fedora all come from Wilson's. I've always found them a bit pricey, even at this great outlet, but the quality and durability are unmatched.

These cowboy boots were super authentic, one of a kind, and with a bit of polishing, I knew these would be glamorous! This pair also had a nail stuck into the footbed so that had to be cut/grinded down. In addition, it needed a bit of stretching of the leather (from the footbed as it fit a tad narrow), and the leather needed a good polishing. It took about four days for them to get these things done (as they have a large clientele) but believe me it was worth the wait! I've had the pleasure of meeting Brenda, one of the owners and she said they've been around for twenty-plus years, and still thriving (you can tell why because of the quality of work they do).
