A word of note: I'm reviewing both the Park City Clothing Company and Southwest Indian Traders. If…read moreyou're in the same store ... you're the same store! As far as I can surmise, the PCCC is the upstairs with all the women's cowboy clothes, boots, etc. That would make sense as and the woman gave me a strange look when I made my way up there. At one time, the upstairs had antiques and collectibles ... the only remnants of these days are the Coca-Cola ephemera all over the place (it's cool stuff, probably enough for a Coke museum). Downstairs is what I consider to be and Southwest Indian Traders. The mildly culturally insensitive name is perfect for a mildly culturally insensitive store. If you get past the life-sized cigar store wooden Indian (that will remind you of that Seinfeld episode), the Native American-themed slot machine, the culturally appropriated statues, nicknacks, and jewelry, you'll find some cool collectibles: license plates, even MORE Coke stuff, historic skiing collectibles, Western gear, books, and souvenirs, as well as carved bears and turquoise jewelry for miles. If nothing else, it's a kaleidoscope of kitsch that'll take you an hour to get through. It's worth the time!

Also,…read moreif you have a wedding in the area, I believe that you will not find anyone who will be more helpful and trustworthy on your big day! Wonderful people and service! They have quality goods, but the PEOPLE you will work with at this clothing company are amazing! THE DETAILS: PCCC is a vendor for Jim's Formalwear AND they have a great collection of boots and clothing. I worked with them to get suits for the groomsmen and ushers in my wedding. It was a destination wedding and I had the privilege of working with a wonderful woman by the name of Ella from start to finish. She collected measurements and payment information from hundreds of miles away, and coordinated everything for me. Not only a wonderful woman, but extremely professional and helpful. That said, Doug is the owner of the business. Beyond his great collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia in the store, he is a really good man. He personally helped my family and I when we did the final fitting/alterations, and picked up the suits the day before the wedding. At every step they were great! We had a couple situations with last minute changes in the wedding that Doug and Ella went above and beyond to help us with. I can't say enough about them!

I realized the exchange consignment was a poor excuse for a store as soon as I saw the "customer service" that was given there. The little red headed beast behind the counter has some serious attitude towards anyone and everyone. And my husband seemed to have an awful experience with the owner as well. The store was cute and clothing was as well, but that's about THE ONLY thing this thrift store has going for it. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT going to this store if you have any love towards yourself. The people there are rude, snobby, judgey, and have gigantic attitudes. Look on yelp, google, or anywhere else where a review is left and you'll get the same reaction. Speaks volumes when you have the same problem from EVERYONE. read more

Every time I am in Park City, I have to stop by here and I always have come out with a win! Kristin has such a great selection of vintage finds. I just purchased an amazing puffer jacket that I will live in this winter. (You know its good when you get stopped on the street asking where to get it). Plus, a great selection of vintage ski gear (think 80+90s cool) and that perfect winter boot - they have tons! Definitely worth a stop by when you are in town... read more

Love the new location---it's so convenient and parking is not an issue (unlike old town)! It's easily twice the size so now there's that much more to shop. I scored a great pair of vintage Italian apres ski boots and my boyfriend got a great deal on a cashmere sweater. Even if you don't find anything to buy, it's so entertaining!! read more

The shop is clean, and has neat, funky mural designs that I love. The service was great. But…read morehonestly, the prices for second-hand clothing is ridiculous. Thrift, don't support predatory businesses like this. I feel that "Shop Vintage" is exploitative because they seriously jack up the prices of clothing. It's really gross that scalpers are swooping in to the thrift stores and buying up these clothes (for pennies on the dollar) so the people they were intended for can no longer afford them at a reasonable price. Yes, our donation centers have tons of "clothes", but a lot of that's fast-fashion synthetic garbage. It had no intention of longevity, whereas these textiles are valuable, which is exactly why this company continues to snatch these things up to resell at a premium. If you're fine with predatory practices, no one's stopping you from shopping here. I'd personally recommend popping in to thrift stores like the DI, where a vast majority of these clothes were donated in the first place. :( ** Edited to add, per their comment attached to my review: They claim their "clothing is sourced from 'wholesale warehouses' out of state that gather unsold donations." That string of buzzwords sounds nice, but in reality anything they buy was a previously "unsold donation", and them jacking up $5 jeans to a sickening $72 is not limited to state lines. They're up-charging and if you're fine with being scalped, and willing to pay ridiculous prices, then take my review with a grain of salt. This is just my 2¢...donate to thrift stores so people in need can reuse. It is disgraceful that the donation/thrifting cycle has become gentrified.
