I was visiting Park City with a friend and we struck up a conversation with Kristen, who we believed was the shop's owner. She also was accompanied by her pup, Piper. Upon my friend mentioning that she had some old clothes from the '80s taking up space in her closet, Kristen offered to swap numbers to with her and assess if they would be a good fit for the shop. Thrift, don't support predatory businesses like this. I feel that "Shop Vintage" is exploitative because they seriously jack up the prices of clothing. It's really gross that scalpers are swooping in to the thrift stores and buying up these clothes (for pennies on the dollar) so the people they were intended for can no longer afford them at a reasonable price. Yes, our donation centers have tons of "clothes", but a lot of that's fast-fashion synthetic garbage. It had no intention of longevity, whereas these textiles are valuable, which is exactly why this company continues to snatch these things up to resell at a premium. If you're fine with predatory practices, no one's stopping you from shopping here. My sister-in-laws were skeptical to go to a "thrift-store", but I told them that there would probably be some good items here bevy there are lots of very wealthy people in Park City and they would probably donate!
