Came here today around 1pm to see the fur wolf pelts which were beautiful, however the customer service was non existent. The girl working there didn't greet us at all and had resting bitch face the whole time looking at us like how dare we shop there. Totally UNPROFESSIONAL and you should train her better. I don't know if she's deaf or mute or what but it was a very UNWELCOMING atmosphere and will not shop here. Just cause we may not look like we have money doesn't mean we can't buy the whole place. I purchased a beautiful white beaver jacket for a dear friend from the Sitka Fur Gallery. Unfortunately, when my friend tried it on, it was a little tight around the shoulders. I contacted the owner at Sitka Fur Gallery (his name is Marcus) and explained the issue. Marcus took the coat back and had my friend come in for a custom sizing and then had another coat made that fit my friend like a glove! She shouldn't have gave you that price my employee this and that.. I'm sorry you feel that way but discuss that after your customer leaves. And beside that she called the main store for price verification- so whomever she called didn't know either. On a recent trip to Park City I stopped by Sitka Fur Gallery to look for a lighter weight fur for a male. I am from North Carolina where the winters are mild and short. Sharon helped me find a sheared beaver jacket with a Racoon collar. It was warm, light weight, and the perfect coat for me. The fur stores in North Carolina only carry coats for females but they have to special order furs for men. There was a huge selection of furs at Sitka Fur Gallery and I was impressed with the quality and selection. My girlfriend and I spent much time and money here in January 2017. I bought over $16,000 worth of merchandise. She bought several thousands of dollars worth as well. Jirem and James were helpful while in the store, but I have yet to receive my insurance/appraisal documents after 3 phone calls. The staff was completely rude. They are over-priced and claim their goods are all manufactured in Alaska. I'm not so sure about that. If they are, it's the cheapest material they can find. Nothing like wrapping yourself in a little fur to keep you warm in the snow and Alaska Fur Gallery has an amazing selection of modern shearling, chinchilla fur trim, full length sheared mink, and my favorite the white and black spotted lynx coat with white fox trim. Located on charming Main Street in Park City, this place has high quality furs for a very reasonable price, (for fur at least). Not all fur coats are created equal. I love the coats here, because they have modern designs, great pieces, and top notch casual service with a wealth of knowledge. The store staff then came up to me and told me and my boyfriend that we were getting the hats dirty for people who actually wanted to buy them and basically kicked us out. Wow! What awful customer service we received. Being that some of us are from LA and we love fur items we were excited to see the variety of inventory at this shop upon entering. Apparently our enthusiasm translated to "non-serious" buyers as the sales clerk was quick to jump to this conclusion. Right away we were told to leave the shop. This in fact was not the case at all. We currently own many fur items and as we walked out we were shocked by the poor treatment. Of course we left the store appalled. If you are able support local shops that have a friendly sales and service team I would highly suggest. I'm not sure how they run a business in there, but maybe not for long. read more

My husband and I were in Park City on a short vacation from Coeur d'Alene, Id. On October 7th my husband bought me a fox & cashmere cape for our 25th anniversary ($1430.00). The owner of the store had it boxed up for me to have it shipped to our home. When it arrived I noticed a stain and the cashmere was thin from someone trying to clean the spot. I tried for 2 days to get a hold of someone at the store, the email address on the card they gave me did not work! I finally got the cape returned with a promise that I would have a brand new one, never been worn, within a week. It never showed up. Called again, got a hold of a young saleswoman and let her know how unhappy I have been with their customer service and that my cape had not arrived in the time frame I was told. She then told me that apparently, Marcus, the owner, said he called and talked to me and they were having a brand new one custom made for me and it would arrive October 28, 21 days after my original purchase.....I never received a call from anyone! No one ever contacted me with this story and on top of that, Patty, the saleswoman I talked to prior was very rude and insulting over the phone. I was not able to wear the cape for our anniversary evening out, which was the reason my husband bought it for me in the first place! Will never get that milestone anniversary back....or the chance to wear it for such an occasion. I am beyond upset with their customer service and their stalling of sending me my brand new purchase. Waiting to hear from Marcus as I'm writing this review...... we'll see how they handle this and if they want repeat business! read more

I was in this store ready to purchase a Cabela for my fiancee when I was approached by a gentleman. He was very unhelpful and made me feel uncomfortable being there.
