    Ft mill location

Ft. Mill location: Food is okay , service was unpleasant, ambiance outside Tiny kid size portions. $16 including tip was definitely not worth it. Especially from the cold and unwelcoming personality the girl who took my order. The one who prepared it was nice. Too many reasons to never to Return. You want your money's worth go to Maui açaí food truck. About the same price for twice the amount and very nice people. Bigger bowls and not stingy. 6/22/24

It was really busy (which to me was a good sign), making me think that it's a good place to eat. I also looked up smoothie bowl places online before and saw this place had good reviews. Surprisingly, there wasn't a long line and I ordered right away. However, after I've been waiting close to 10 minutes, I started looking around and noticing that almost nobody inside the entire place had food in front of them, but the place was packed and there was nowhere to sit. I was standing waiting for my food, keeping an eye on the tables, hoping one would open up for me to grab. And then I looked back towards the counter where they were making all of these bowls and saw a line of probably 30+ smoothie bowls waiting to be made. So basically everyone in the entire place was wishing for their food. After waiting another 10 minutes (so 20 mins total), mine still had not been made. I feel like they were making an average of one bowl Every 3 to 5 minutes. I'm really not sure what was going on as there were about 6 to 7 employees behind the counter working. I'm really not sure why food couldn't be made faster. But when I went to inquire about how much longer, they couldn't give me a time but told me there were about 9 bowls to be made ahead of mine. At this point, I've been waiting almost 30 minutes for a smoothie bowl. I asked them if they could just cancel my bowl and if I could get a refund because I have somewhere to be. They told me they were not able to do refunds but they could give me a gift card for a future visit. However, I'm from out of town so that doesn't work for me. This is also annoying as the screen prompts you for a tip as most take out places do these days. So these people essentially got a tip for me and didn't even make my food. How very frustrating. $15 wasted.

As a New Yorker we have our share of markets/food halls and OH fits the familiar script, with a slightly smaller footprint than what I've experienced. What never seems to change is that securing seating can be a challenge because all spots are "prime" real estate and the abundance of choices is an indecisive person's nightmare. Nonetheless, to all the foodies at heart those are just minor details for mere mortals... lol. We managed to grab a larger enough table and everyone circled until we made our individual choices and then returned to our central meeting spot to break bread and indulge in all of our finds. We enjoyed several of the eateries we experienced and I was particularly intrigued by the plant store (albeit kinda pricey). Returning is a no brainer especially for the places that were most memorable. Just A Note: Parking is not free, payment is required. Please note depending on the time of day it can be crowded so securing a spot will require patience.

It kind of has the vibe of a hotel lounge with comfortable couches and chairs for seating. Their menu isn't large or extensive but they do a great job with what they provide. I could see myself coming here regularly if it was located closer to my office. The amount of plants is a nice bonus as it adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The name Arbol Eatery really suits it. The standout for us was definitely the Cuban -- a super creative take on a classic, with that perfect balance of "original with a twist." El Italiano was a close second, packed with flavor and just the right texture. The torta was solid too, just a little spicy for my like, but I never checked if it was, and the Caprese made for a fresh, lighter option, it was missing the fresh mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. Service was fair. Overall, the place has a chill vibe, the food came out quickly, and we'd come back to try more of the menu.
