Review for Spoons - Fort Mill I have no idea how Spoons has a 3.7-star rating & 67% on Apple Maps --it absolutely deserves 5 stars! Everything here is fresh, tasty, and made quickly. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I tried my first smoothie bowl here, and it was excellent. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. The only thing I wish they had was a nut-free granola option for those with allergies or preferences. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for a quick, healthy, and satisfying treat. I'll definitely be coming back!

Awesome açaí on a hot summer day! The bowl itself was good, the staff behind the counter were quick, and the vibes were on point for SouthEnd. Overall it was a solid spot, but nothing too memorable. I would go again, but not on the very top of my list.

My boyfriend put me on to this spot. I had never been! I usually hit up Rico's for my açaí bowls. I've always heard Spoons was great too, just hadn't made it by there yet. But he goes a lot and grabbed me a bowl one day. I ordered the buried treasure bowl and added Nutella. This bowl comes with banana, açai, spoons granola, blackberries, blueberries, chia seeds, raspberries, strawberries, yumberries. It's SO FREAKING DELICIOUS!!!!! Every time we go this is the bowl I order. I love that they package the to go orders in these super cute tiny cooler bags to keep them cold until you get home. I've never been inside the location, but one day I plan to. I'm definitely a fan of this South End Spoons location.

Potentially the best acai bowls I've ever had. I was traveling for work to Charlotte for 8 days, got it the first morning, and went back every day after, just that good! Their spreads are out of this world! The ordering online and ordering ahead feature is so nice for a busy person like me. I did that everyday with no complaints from the employee. They can wrap it for you to stay cool if you need it to go. 10/10 recommend if in the charlotte area and like açaí bowls!!

That's this was cute decor!

Spoons is perfect place for a quick bite to eat. I really enjoyed the açaí bowl, that I brought my mom back the second time I went. The açaí bowls are fulfilling and very delicious. The bowl was decorated very beautifully as well so I was definitely happy and excited to dig in! They have the perfect location right on the corner, although the establishment is a bit small that's OK because you're typically in and out I've been twice and it's never really a long lines I've been around 12pm. I wasn't happy with the service though. The lady at the register that also made the açaí bowls was not pleasant both times and wasn't helpful. She wasn't nice and I didn't feel welcomed. But I enjoy the DJ Queen B açaí bowl so much, I'll look past that and go back.

Affordable! Yummy ! With plenty of toppings! I saved about $7 bucks on the cost of my normal açaí bowl when I visited here vs similar businesses in the area. I will for sure be back... they are super quick and have an amazing selection of bowl options.

BUILD YOUR OWN with added pb and chia (comes with granola but I asked to leave it off)
Carol R.

Pretty good. I did a build your own which comes with 5 oz açaí, bananas, and granola. For anything else, you pay per topping. Added peanut butter and chia, which made for a filling meal. I was bummed that their chia is not soaked though, so it's a dry sprinkling of seeds as opposed to a pudding consistency. Next time, I may try the kids bowl as a snack since it's a 3 oz base.

I wish I could eat Spoons every day. I'm always impressed by their consistency - I've been a fan for a couple years now and have been to every location! The bowls I've tried have enough to serve as a full meal - I typically order ones with peanut butter, but plenty of protein options available. The fruit and toppings are always fresh. I utilize the app to order for pickup + for tracking loyalty rewards. The only time I needed customer service, Laura was extremely helpful and nice. It made me so happy to know that the people behind the scenes are just great as these bowls that I love so much!

I regret selecting this place for breakfast this past Monday, here's why.... 1) I placed a delivery order from Spoons South-end to my job where I ordered 1 Acai bowl this past Monday morning because I was hungry and I did not have the luxury of leaving work. When my order arrived, I quickly discovered that someone at Spoons forgot to include any utensils with my bowl. All I needed was a spoon. My job had zero. Therefore, I had to sip from the side of the bowl. Huge inconvenience and very embarrassing. 2) I tried reaching out to the location to make them aware and to see if they could possibly send over a spoon since I work nearby but unfortunately they only have an answering service, so I left a message. 3) Today is Wednesday, I check my checking account and see I was double charged for a single Acai bowl from the online order. I've attempted reaching out again to no avail. Same answering service and still no contact from Monday. At this point I've left them 3 voice-mail messages and haven't heard anything back. I'm very upset

I went to this food truck in fort mill tonight. It was a very clean atmosphere !! The service from the ladies were exceptional explaining the menu. I tried the Dj Queen B. The fruit was fresh & the combination was delicious, but I wish that I received more fruit than Açaí. It was also on the pricey side for what you receive and the size of the Bowl. I will try it again now that I know what to expect!! Go try it for yourself

New Moon Bowl. It appears full, but really is a bunch of berries smashed into a barely-there, runny base.
Les A.

I just tried this place for the first time and it will also be My last. I ordered the New Moon bowl and added cacao nibs. There was a literal 1 piece of granola on it crumbled into 5 tiny pieces, barely any cacao nibs sprinkles on top, and an obscene amount of blueberries and blackberries; which were clearly a filler for the lack of everything else including the actual point of the bowl-- the acai. The Acai was runny to the consistency of water. It literally ran off of my spoon. And there was barely even any Acai base in there. I pushed all the blueberries to the side and could see a less than 1/4 inch of liquid, runny Acai base at the bottom of the container. And yes I went in for My order, so I wasn't sitting and melting for any time. The base was done wrong and not in the right amount, then used anyway and packed with a ton of berries and almost none of the other toppings. I paid $12.72 for a bowl blueberries and blackberries sitting in a splash liquid base. What a waste.

I love the fact that they have such a wide variety of bowls. So many to choose from. I do wish they had some simpler options, but I guess that's what build your own bowl is for! Which I did. I love açaí bowls but theirs was just okay. I've had better. It melted extremely quick. Before I could make it through 1/4 of it, it was almost like a bowl of soup...and I'm not a slow eater. Also, I didn't enjoy the topping to açaí ratio. Looking at it, it seems fine but when actually eating it..there was definitely not enough açaí. I tasted more toppings than anything. I love the concept of the walk up take out window, it's perfect given the state of the world right now. I just wish we could order from it as well, and not just pick up our order. When picking up my bowls, I had to ask her for everything. Lids, spoons, napkins, a bag. I had to ask for spoons twice, which is odd given the name of the place. Overall, it was okay. I would go back but it wouldn't be my first choice. I would definitely choose other açaí bowls over theirs, but if I pressed for time and was in the area then I would stop by.

David D.

Always serving the best açaí bowls in town, many different flavors and combinations. Just try it and you will be back there every day.

I don't usually consider them for meals but every now and then when I am craving something sweet they hit the spot! Vitality Bowls is a chain originating out west that now has a home in Southend Charlotte at the Railyard development. Since my office is nearby, some coworkers and I decided to order ahead and walk over to enjoy our bowls. In addition to açaí bowls they offer sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, and other types of bowl/salads. The server was friendly and our food was ready and packaged to go when we arrived. I decided to go with the Nutty Bowl. No I admit I am somewhat of a novice when it comes to açaí bowls, but in the past when I get them, they usually come with a lot of toppings and drizzle that not only adds to the flavors and presentation, but makes the bowl more filling and dense. The bowl I received was perfectly tasty, it just felt a little bit underwhelming and underdone. It was light on the toppings and seemed like it was tossed together quickly. Now the simple explanation could be that since we made a larger order ahead of time the person making them may have been under pressure to finish each one faster before moving on to the next. I certainly want to go back by myself and order in the store to see how the bowl compares. I really did enjoy the blend they used for the base of the bowl and I can tell it was made using fresh ingredients. For what it's worth my coworkers all enjoyed their sandwiches as well. I will have to give it another shot

As a New Yorker we have our share of markets/food halls and OH fits the familiar script, with a slightly smaller footprint than what I've experienced. What never seems to change is that securing seating can be a challenge because all spots are "prime" real estate and the abundance of choices is an indecisive person's nightmare. Nonetheless, to all the foodies at heart those are just minor details for mere mortals... lol. We managed to grab a larger enough table and everyone circled until we made our individual choices and then returned to our central meeting spot to break bread and indulge in all of our finds. We enjoyed several of the eateries we experienced and I was particularly intrigued by the plant store (albeit kinda pricey). Return is a no brainer especially for the places that were most memorable.
