Was in the area grabbing lunch and was pleasantly surprised to see an açaí bowl storefront! Decided to share a regular CYO bowl. Ordered classic base with pineapple, blueberries, banana, coconut flake, goji berries, and honey drizzle. A whopping $22 treat! It definitely is more cost effective if you choose one of the already created bowls which for a regular range from $13.50-$14.50 per bowl. I consider myself an açaí bowl connoisseur and for me everything was a bit overly sweet. Still a fresh alternative to other less healthy choices. Great location, Love the decor and vibes inside. The staff are friendly and helpful. Added bonus is the location is woman owned.

Incredible açaí bowl! I would consider myself an açaí bowl aficionado so I am a harsh critic. That said, this biscoff bowl was 10/10. The base was smooth and flavorful and the toppings were generous. The atmosphere inside is also super cute. All around great experience. Definitely check them out they deserve their flowers!

Great 1st time at new location experience. The staff was very nice and friendly. Patience is everything. Love a place that allows you time to place an order. The energy is unmatched. The ambiance is nice and I'll definitely come here more often.

I had purchased a bowl on this day and it made my whole entire day.

Best acai in charlotte! The fruit is so fresh and it's a great variety on the menu. My favorite is the classic.

I don't usually consider them for meals but every now and then when I am craving something sweet they hit the spot! Vitality Bowls is a chain originating out west that now has a home in Southend Charlotte at the Railyard development. Since my office is nearby, some coworkers and I decided to order ahead and walk over to enjoy our bowls. In addition to açaí bowls they offer sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, and other types of bowl/salads. The server was friendly and our food was ready and packaged to go when we arrived. I decided to go with the Nutty Bowl. No I admit I am somewhat of a novice when it comes to açaí bowls, but in the past when I get them, they usually come with a lot of toppings and drizzle that not only adds to the flavors and presentation, but makes the bowl more filling and dense. The bowl I received was perfectly tasty, it just felt a little bit underwhelming and underdone. It was light on the toppings and seemed like it was tossed together quickly. Now the simple explanation could be that since we made a larger order ahead of time the person making them may have been under pressure to finish each one faster before moving on to the next. I certainly want to go back by myself and order in the store to see how the bowl compares. I really did enjoy the blend they used for the base of the bowl and I can tell it was made using fresh ingredients. For what it's worth my coworkers all enjoyed their sandwiches as well. I will have to give it another shot

I wrote a separate review for that one, which was out of your mind amazing, and when I come back, there are so many other places I have to try. There's an Italian place that makes noodles from scratch every day, so that's my goal for the next visit. My husband had a Cuban sandwich, and he said that was the best he's ever had. Everywhere there was great, comfortable seating with beautiful hanging boho plants that just gave a nice natural and calm touch to the environment.

Review for Optimist Hall…read more As a foodie who relocated to Charlotte from the San Francisco Bay Area, I naturally compare food halls to the iconic Ferry Building Marketplace. Optimist Hall reminds me of it -- it definitely aspires to that kind of destination experience -- but it's not quite in the same league. That said, it's still one of Charlotte's most vibrant and enjoyable places to gather and eat. This is an upscale food hall with a wide variety of options -- beer, wine, cocktails, global cuisines, retail, and plenty of energy. I've tried many of the stalls, and the diversity is impressive. There's truly something for everyone, which makes it a great place to visit with friends or family. Parking is generally easy, and the space is clean, modern, and aesthetically pleasing. The bathrooms are well-maintained, which always matters. One challenge is seating -- there never quite seems to be enough, especially during peak times. Like many food halls, there can also be turnover among vendors, which is a bit unfortunate when you find a favorite. The setup here reflects what you often see in the Southeast: surface parking rather than garages or robust public transportation. It works, but it's different from West Coast infrastructure where you might hop on BART or a streetcar and arrive right at the door. Where Optimist Hall really shines is as a social destination. It's perfect for a group outing -- almost like a modern food truck rally. One person claims a table while everyone else explores, then you come back together, share dishes, and break bread. That communal experience is what makes this place special. It's a big wide world out there. Be curious -- and bon appétit.
