Cool little shop, great food with outdoor seating. Easy street parking and fun desserts

    Reuben (can't see any turkey)

Food was subpar; service was slow (to be fair there were 2 staff) and no bathroom either. My Reuben was 50% coleslaw, 35% pickle, and 15% turkey (2 slices) for $12-13. Overpriced for the quality. A friend of mine ordered a Greek salad for $8.50 and it was tiny; this place charges like their NYC. You could get a substantial salad with substance for $13 in the city, so $9 without any meat and tiny portion is expensive.

I stopped here passing through Milford. It is located on the Main Street in town. Walking up the steps to the place the you enter to the right and order your food there. Everything was pre made but that didn't deter from the taste. The sandwiches were in a heated glass enclosure already wrapped. I was a little concerned when I saw this. In spite of that the sandwiches were not soggy, had a great taste and fresh ingredients were used. I got a soup which was also excellent. I would definitely come back.

    Reuben and black bean soup.

Great place to stop in while enjoying the scenery, food is made fresh and with care. Reuben was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Well done! My wife had the fish sandwich which was big enough for 2. Tasty , nicely fried to perfection and the outdoor seating is similar to sitting in a Norman Rockwell painting. The black bean soup was good till the last drop, not too salty and portion size was perfect. We will go back.

NOTE: you have to eat outside. That said.... YUM. This chili was absolutely delicious - just the right balance of spicy and sweet (and I'm a sucker for sweet chili). The staff was fantastic, too; really friendly, really knowledgeable, really happy to offer samples and everything else. Just a seriously great little sporm Why four stars instead of five? A possible paranoia: the handpies, while pleasant, aren't kept at a very hot temperature; they're mildly warm, and served that way. While I had one without meat, I couldn't help but be concerned that the ones with pork, etc. might not be safe to eat. HOWEVER, I really enjoyed this. It was well worth the walk to get to. (Safe to walk to, as well, which is a huge plus.)

I came to Spoonful for the first time today and decided to get one of their soups for lunch. Their patio was already bustling with happy customers enjoying their lunches. I decided on the Hungarian mushroom soup, as my boyfriend's mom sings praises about this soup. I got the smaller size soup which is $5 and that comes with a small homemade biscuit. The larger size soups are $10 and come with two biscuits. I also ordered their tart Michigan cherry bread pudding. The lovely Meghan at the counter was very pleasant and accommodating. I took my lunch to the porch and thoroughly enjoyed the soup, which was chock full of mushrooms. The bread pudding, which is one of their bestsellers, satisfied my sweet tooth. It has just the right amount of sweetness, which is nicely offset by the tartness of the cherries. If you go, you must try the bread pudding for dessert!!

Ample biscuits for our soup lover. Creamy mushroom was a nice and mild flavor for the little one. Loads of mushroom.

We ordered the chilli for ourselves and creamy mushroom for our little one. Plenty of mushroom and biscuits. The chilli, hearty and filling with a sweet touch and a little kick in the back end. Best of bith worlds. Sweet and spicy. Oh and A LOT OF MEAT. MMMMM. They sure dont skimp on ingredients. Inside is a nice gallery of local paint night art and jazz music playing. Outside is a large enough porch for a few people enjoy the sights and sounds of small town Milford.

Delicious and unique soups. Good baked goods. No indoor seating. Minimal outdoor seating. Worth the trip.

We ordered the tomato basil soup and triple bypass grilled cheese. Both were delicious and completely worth it. Would absolutely return.

Got a delicious ribeye sandwich. It seemed like they were out of a few things that i wanted to try. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.
