I was passing a kidney stone and was trying to get comfortable on the bed(while watching my IV obviously not close enough). You then come in 15 mins later(because someone informed you I was just letting it chill out of my arm until someone got the chance to come back. You didn't give me any button and I wasn't going to scream I was in pain.)I wasn't pushing nobody away from their duties. You then throw open the blinds "Why would you pull out the IV" I said I'm so sorry I didn't do it on purpose". You instantly with even more attitude say "I had a patient having a heart attack and you pull me to put the IV back in your arm cause you ripped it out." I said "I'm sorry I didn't mean to do it on purpose." You then walk out and slam the curtains again damn aggressive. I apologized to all the nurses if I was rude that I was in pain and just kept apologizing. Not once did that you come back in to apologize. I want you to have some bedside manner or apologize cause that was a lot! We will be filing further if you can't apologize and be a respectful adult. I didn't do anything on purpose. Mistakes happen. I'll be in back soon. We all have bad days that why I apologized! Trying to make this a direct message to her. Exactly what happened. Victoria was extremely rude, I've never once experienced that. If she was having a bad day, I get it. However I don't believe it takes 4+ hours to realize. Jessica the nurse was amazing I could tell she was a little frustrated but she still remained sweet and I continued to apologize. Due to me feeling bad for crying and being wiggly.

He always takes the time to fully and carefully LISTEN to his patients, and works WITH them to provide the best care. There are Docs who simply want to impart their textbook knowledge on their patients, without actively listening to them. Dr. Duke is the polar opposite. I rarely have to wait long to see someone/anyone/Dr. Duke on my visits, but if I do have to wait, I am generally OK with it because I know that they are providing great care for someone else who needs that extra bit of time. I've never felt rushed, talked at, or unheard on any of my visits. Dr. Duke and his staff are friendly, efficient, and even though most folks don't go to the doctor's office to have fun, Dr. Duke's office make it as enjoyable as it can possibly be. And they seem to have fun and truly enjoy their work. It's truly a refreshing experience. I can't recommend Dr. Duke and his office highly enough!

I want to start this review out by saying I had wonderful interactions with all of the office staff…read moreand the nurse who saw me before the doctor came in. This was my first, and last, appointment with Dr. Han because of the disappointing lack of communication. I scheduled a well exam/yearly physical and assumed that is what I was going into. Dr. Han was in the room for maybe 15-20 minutes and it was a brief appointment, nothing crazy. I spoke about symptoms I was having due to being anemic and other things that I have usually discussed with my primary care provider (I had to switch due to change in insurance). I was sent to do labs and all is well. Then I received a bill for $80 and I reach out to my insurance and they say it is because of the certain coding used. They assume it's a mistake and tell me to reach out to the provider who issued the lab work and have them change the coding. Sounds simple enough until I learn that my scheduled wellness exam was no longer that the minute I started talking about medical concerns. The concerns were nothing life threatening, but concerns you'd talk about with your doctor at your annual exam; which is what I had scheduled with the office. It's very disappointing that Dr. Han failed to tell me the appointment had changed once I started discussing my medical concerns. It's even more disappointing that it seems like talking about medical concerns is just seen as additional coding and extra money for the doctor. I will not be returning to this office, nor would I refer them to anyone. I highly suggest reading other reviews and finding another doctors office.

1 Star -- Buckeye Adelante: Unreliable Communication + Disrupted Care When It Mattered…read more This review is for the Adelante clinic in Buckeye. I'm writing this to warn other patients because while the care was good at times, the overall experience became unacceptable due to inconsistent communication, no follow-through, and how concerns were handled. There were appointments where everything seemed fine. But too often we dealt with calls not being returned, portal messages going unanswered, and a frustrating lack of response when we genuinely needed help. In healthcare, inconsistency is a serious problem -- especially when patients are relying on ongoing care. My wife and I have ongoing health concerns, and we also have a 12-year-old child with a disability. I am insulin dependent, so regular follow-ups and timely communication are necessary. When a clinic can't reliably respond, it creates stress and risk that families should not be forced to deal with. We have complained to Adelante in the past, and we have also contacted the medical board in the past due to concerns. Patients raise complaints because they want better care from the clinic they already go to, not conflict. People dealing with health issues are looking for quality care, accountability, and basic respect. Instead of our concerns being addressed and corrected, my wife, my child, and I received a Notice of Discontinuation of Care, stating the "care relationship has experienced a breakdown." That wording is extremely vague and gives no clear explanation of what the "breakdown" supposedly was. It comes across like a generic reason used to remove patients who speak up. Even worse, they canceled my 3-month diabetic follow-up appointment, even though I'm insulin dependent and need monitoring. Canceling care like that isn't just inconvenient -- it's irresponsible. This clinic may be fine when everything is simple, but when you need real support and consistent communication, the Buckeye location failed our family. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend others think twice before relying on this clinic for long-term care.

When my wife wanted to a yearly exam, we realized that there was a Dr. office in the building just down the road, which also houses an ER, and we thought it would be worth checking since it was so close. Not really sure which doctor was her best option, we chose Dr. Pramhus, and boy, were we happy we did. He has a terrific 'bedside manner', seems very knowledgeable, and just seems like a really great guy. When my wife would go in for an issue, he was willing to stick around and discuss other questions, etc.. He also responds very quickly through the online portal, and has even called us directly in response to questions we post online. We liked him so much that I have even decided to make him my PCP as well. We're very happy with him.

The day before our appt they called and said that since we had Optim as part of our medicare/HealthNet insurance that the NP (Kirstin Blackshear) couldn't see us because Optim wouldn't ok any tests or pay anything on what she ordered. I have worked beside and had many NP's as my PCP. NP's work under a doctor's license and they certainly can order tests and the like. The insurance company obviously has a problem with her. My insurance card had Dr. Pramus as my PCP. They refused to let us see her and told me that they could schedule us for an end end of July appt with Dr. Pramhus. So we would have to wait another 2 weeks for an appt. We are both diabetics and I have A-fib. I explained this to the receptionist. I didn't get any sort of understanding or sympathy. No apology. Nothing. Obviously we are going to have to find yet another doctor and wait probably, another couple of months. While I can't speak of the care you would receive, since they wouldn't see us, I certainly don't think their front office is at all capable. Might want to think twice before seeing them.

When you get into the back area where the doctors are the AC was on and it was quite comfy after chilling in the stuffy, hot waiting room. Dr. Duke somewhat reminds me of Dr. House with his mannerisms, but the guy really knows his stuff. I personally have considered driving to Avondale to go to the other office they have. I try not to be to snooty about my stuff, but really feel that I can go to a medical clinic slightly more upscale than this. Everyone deserves health care, but this is a dingy, overworked place.
