My son has been going to this doctor office since he was six months and he is now going to be six…read moreyears old this year. I just want to say Dr. Warren is a very good pediatrician I will never forget when my son got sick and urgent care and pch said he was fine to follow up with his pediatrician well we did and she knew exactly what it was when she seen him she saved my sons life because the Kawasaki disease was swelling up his coronary artery. also want to say the front desk workers are very nice some of the nicest workers I've met since going to doctors offices in Arizona. There are lots of rude front desk people, but I've never had that problem here and I just want to say thank you for all that you do Adelante buckeye staff.

1 Star -- Buckeye Adelante: Unreliable Communication + Disrupted Care When It Mattered…read more This review is for the Adelante clinic in Buckeye. I'm writing this to warn other patients because while the care was good at times, the overall experience became unacceptable due to inconsistent communication, no follow-through, and how concerns were handled. There were appointments where everything seemed fine. But too often we dealt with calls not being returned, portal messages going unanswered, and a frustrating lack of response when we genuinely needed help. In healthcare, inconsistency is a serious problem -- especially when patients are relying on ongoing care. My wife and I have ongoing health concerns, and we also have a 12-year-old child with a disability. I am insulin dependent, so regular follow-ups and timely communication are necessary. When a clinic can't reliably respond, it creates stress and risk that families should not be forced to deal with. We have complained to Adelante in the past, and we have also contacted the medical board in the past due to concerns. Patients raise complaints because they want better care from the clinic they already go to, not conflict. People dealing with health issues are looking for quality care, accountability, and basic respect. Instead of our concerns being addressed and corrected, my wife, my child, and I received a Notice of Discontinuation of Care, stating the "care relationship has experienced a breakdown." That wording is extremely vague and gives no clear explanation of what the "breakdown" supposedly was. It comes across like a generic reason used to remove patients who speak up. Even worse, they canceled my 3-month diabetic follow-up appointment, even though I'm insulin dependent and need monitoring. Canceling care like that isn't just inconvenient -- it's irresponsible. This clinic may be fine when everything is simple, but when you need real support and consistent communication, the Buckeye location failed our family. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend others think twice before relying on this clinic for long-term care.

When my my and my wife's PCP retired, we were left with no really good options. We tried a couple…read moreother doctors at the same office, but were not happy with any of them, so we tried another office closer to home, but again were not really happy with any of the doctors we found. When my wife wanted to a yearly exam, we realized that there was a Dr. office in the building just down the road, which also houses an ER, and we thought it would be worth checking since it was so close. Not really sure which doctor was her best option, we chose Dr. Pramhus, and boy, were we happy we did. He has a terrific 'bedside manner', seems very knowledgeable, and just seems like a really great guy. When my wife would go in for an issue, he was willing to stick around and discuss other questions, etc.. He also responds very quickly through the online portal, and has even called us directly in response to questions we post online. We liked him so much that I have even decided to make him my PCP as well. We're very happy with him.

My husband and I moved here from out of state. I called and made an appt with his NP. We had to…read morewait for an appt for 1.5 months. I gave the office all of our insurance info. The day before our appt they called and said that since we had Optim as part of our medicare/HealthNet insurance that the NP (Kirstin Blackshear) couldn't see us because Optim wouldn't ok any tests or pay anything on what she ordered. I have worked beside and had many NP's as my PCP. NP's work under a doctor's license and they certainly can order tests and the like. The insurance company obviously has a problem with her. My insurance card had Dr. Pramus as my PCP. They refused to let us see her and told me that they could schedule us for an end end of July appt with Dr. Pramhus. So we would have to wait another 2 weeks for an appt. We are both diabetics and I have A-fib. I explained this to the receptionist. I didn't get any sort of understanding or sympathy. No apology. Nothing. Obviously we are going to have to find yet another doctor and wait probably, another couple of months. While I can't speak of the care you would receive, since they wouldn't see us, I certainly don't think their front office is at all capable. Might want to think twice before seeing them.

We only go here because it is close to our house and accepts our insurance. To see a doctor about…read moresomething quickly this works. However, it is a low end medical clinic. They seem to have redone the waiting area so it is brighter and a tad more comfy, but it was hot as Haiti in there today. The staff behind the counter when you walk in is overworked and sometimes a bit rude. When you get into the back area where the doctors are the AC was on and it was quite comfy after chilling in the stuffy, hot waiting room. Dr. Duke somewhat reminds me of Dr. House with his mannerisms, but the guy really knows his stuff. I personally have considered driving to Avondale to go to the other office they have. I try not to be to snooty about my stuff, but really feel that I can go to a medical clinic slightly more upscale than this. Everyone deserves health care, but this is a dingy, overworked place. That really does not communicate well with you unless you call them. I think they are sterile, but not sure if they have a cleaning crew that comes in, because this place could really use it.

This is the WORST "family" practice in Buckeye. My last experience was a nightmare with the NP…read morethere. I then had to take my son back for his shots 2 weeks later. It was so bad during my son's visit I immediately called my insurance to get a list of other Physicians in the area for myself and my son. Their NP is very RUDE and ignorant to say the least. They have a high turn over rate of Dr. and NP's I immediately switched my son to an actual Pediatrician and for myself I found the Dr. that used to work there and left 3 years ago who now works at the Abrazo Medical Group at the Buckeye Emergency Center. I am still looking for a way to inform whomever is in charge of the experience that I had my last 2 visits. Their are other way to many option for medical services here in Buckeye to settle for this facility!

I am new to the west valley and overall this doctors office meets my expectations. I am surprised…read moreto see that they accept "walk-in appointments". Once care is established getting into see the doctor does not involve a long wait. The patient rooms are clean and up to the modern age for technology. I went to see Dr. Martin for my annual check up and she is great. I was pleased with a high level of patient care from her. Also, she is conscious of what costs are beneficial for her patients (like generic drugs v.s. outrageous name brands). As far as follow up from staff I have not really had an issue. I did call once and I did not get a call back (I was sick and on a cancellation list). I did call back and was scheduled and seen in a prompt and professional manner. This was after establishing care and getting into the system. So in conclusion, if you want a decent no bull medical office go here. If you just walk in expect a wait. If you want to have some kind of hand held small town experience go elsewhere.

Last Monday (9/10), I called my doctors' office to ask for a prescription to be refilled (that I…read morehave been on since 2002 for seizures and restless leg syndrome) called Clonazepam. I was told that the script would be called in to Walgreen's. It wasn't. On Tuesday, Kylie, my daughter, went in to the office to drop off an update d Power of Atty and Living Will (for an upcoming surgery) and asked about the prescription, and was told that it would be called in to the pharmacy that afternoon. It wasn't. I called again on Wednesday, now three days without the pill, only to be told that it would be called in, and again, it wasn't. On Thursday, I was told that the pharmacy had to send over a fax request to have the script filled and that the doctor would not be back in the office till this Monday, which means I would be without the med for a total of 7 (SEVEN) days! I was then put on the phone with a man claiming to be the office manager who told me that the message (which I have never heard, because if you are placed on hold, 623.298.4642, there is no message, just dead silence) would tell you that your pharmacy must send in a fax request...NOT! He refused to listen to my story even telling me that it was my fault and that he didn't care that I used to be a nurse and that he didn't care who screwed up that it was my fault. He yelled at me, wouldn't let me speak and told me that there was nothing he could do. Consequently, last night, I had a grand mal seizure that could have killed me. Google Clonazepam, and look up what happens when you suddenly stop taking this drug after so many years. I have complained to AHCCCS and will complain to Dr. Jeanette Cruz, of Estrella Family Medical the next time I see her. LAWSUIT? POSSIBLY. You don't have to put up with the bull. I could have been told on Monday to have the script request faxed, and problem would have been solved. My daughter could have been told that on Tuesday or handed a script when she was there, but no. At no time were we told...This office dropped the ball, but it's my fault... I COULD HAVE DIED. I WANT HEADS TO ROLL AND PEOPLE FIRED. AM I MAD, DAMN RIGHT I AM MAD. I HAVE KIDS TO RAISE AND A LIFE TO LIVE. JUST BECAUSE SOME OFFICES REQUIRE A PHARMACY TO SEND A SCRIPT REQUEST, DOESN'T MEAN THEY ALL DO, AND I HAVE NEVER HAD TO DO THIS BEFORE!! ~~ I got a certified letter today, 9/20, telling me that I have been fired. That tells me that this office can't admit to their mistakes and that I am glad that as of October, I am glad I am no longer their patient. I have alerted AHCCCS, the Arizona Medical Review Board and will be filing a Medical Malpractice Lawsuit as well.~~
