I went in with pain and the dr was so kind to me. I was in so much pain and she was courteous and gentle and had patience. she did her testing, double checked for more things that could be possible when my results were negative. And sent me home with the antibiotics I needed. I had only a couple minutes wait time to hey I'm and definitely will use them again. read more

If you are new to Buckeye or have never been to this establishment, BEWARE, they are not considered an "emergency urgent care" health care place. As a result, my insurance was billed an "office visit" versus other urgent care places can bill the visit as an "emergent care visit" and that was the difference of my paying out of pocket $99 your my insurance only covered emergent care facilities (whom by the way this place bills my insurance company $149). They will not tell you they are not an emergent care when you visit the first time. Let's chat about staff: The receptionist working Christmas eve actually told me, when I just walked in (tho the sign says walk ins are accepted) that they would try to fit me in because if they only took walk ins without appointments, they would have to work past Closing time. She said if someone doesn't show for their appointment, I would be seen. I replied sarcastically that I guess she must give me an appointment 2 hours from when I walked in, that I would not be seen. She replied under her breath and I asked her to repeat what I thought I heard her say and she said I didn't need to be condescending. I was clearly being sarcastic, not condescending. I also made mention of this to the NFP when I finally got to be seen. Needlesstosay, I was flabbergasted. She also gave me an appointment for hours later but I needed to "stay for the walk in visit," hoping I would get seen sooner rather than later. Thereafter, she went into the back and I'm confident that she complained to the staff and that is why I was kept waiting longer than I should have been. It wasn't until quite some time later when someone stopped by to say hi to the staff that this lady asked me if I was being helped. I replied that I'm a walk in and not feeling well at all and am waiting to be seen. Prior to her showing up, patients had come/gone without anyone else going in. Instead of the staff who can write prescriptions seeing me, they only did so as a result of this lady inquiring - it was evident to Helen Keller that I was not feeling well at all and I'm sure I did not look well either. When I was finally seen, the NFP did not inquire about any allergies I had, only took my vitals, but since I've learned to be an advocate of my health care, I let him know I can tolerate the antibiotic Z pack, which he thankfully prescribed. At the end of the visit, I asked him if my appointment should be cancelled and he said no, I'll use that time to catch up on paperwork. Again, shock and dismay that the intent was getting out of work on time instead of allowing someone else to either take that time and be seen in a timely manner. At all times while I was waiting the only other people in the area was the "patient with an appointment" and more often than not, I was by myself. I will NEVER return there and HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE AND SEEK HEALTH CARE ELSEWHERE, AS SHALL I WHEN URGENT CARE IS NEEDED. read more

BARBARA BURNS FNP-C: HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER!! No stars are deserved but unfortunately it does not have that option! Came here for a last-minute physical for my daughter who is trying out for cheer. Her NORMAL pediatrician was not available, and I procrastinated- my fault. Side note, my daughter had a physical the year prior and was in cheer as well. She also has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and it only affects her right side, but she does not let it limit her at all. The bed side manner of the NP on site yesterday was unbelievable. I have never in my life had a person make my daughter feel less than and she accomplished that for the whole visit! We did not bring her eyeglasses because she had been at therapy prior. The NP stated if she did not have her glasses and did not have adequate scoring on exam, she would fail her physical and there is nothing they can do since I have already paid for my exam, basically no money back! The way she talked to my daughter was very dismissive. She was very rude about it and matter of fact, like we were wasting their time. She then proceeded to bring up her weaknesses on her right side and she needed to do her best in order to pass her exam. My daughter is a very strong willed and independent person but yesterday, Barbara Burns FNP-C, you tore her self-esteem down and she was beyond upset after her physical. You need to take some classes on how to handle children and adults! read more

The dr was not helpful the wait was 45 minutes but was in her office for 2 minutes and didn't even try to check my baby's vitals so got nothing done. You can clearly hear my baby is sick also she just told us to go somewhere else. read more

Made an appointment to get shots for my mother in law to get her flu shot. When we arrived 15 min early we were told there was no appointment and that she would have to come back. We had confirmation emails showing the appointment and said it must have double booked and there was nothing they could do. My mother in law is 75 and is a recovering cancer patient who's hair hasn't grown back and their answer was since another person was booked at the same time he would get the appointment and to come back in several hours. Then the large bald Dr. came out to of his appointment and heard me saying I would like a complaint number instead of complaining at the desk and he started giving me attitude and dirty looks. When I called the number they provided, no one answered after multiple attempts. If this is how you treat customers, you can be assured no one in my family will be a future customer. Shame on you *** update they later called back to tell me that it was my 75 yo mothers fault for booking her shits at the pharmacy, even though their confirmation email advised to go to the little clinic. I was disappointed in the Buckeye little clinic. I feel like they take advantage of people that dont know how things work. I went to an urgent care to get a shot but they didn't have it so they gave me a paper and told me to go to frys. I went to this little clinic and gave them the paper. Apparently it was a prescription for the pharmacy to give me the shot. I didn't know pharmacies could do that, and this clinic didn't tell me it was a prescription. So instead they checked me in and gave me the shot,therefore i got seen 2x and my insurance wont pay for this clinic and I have to. I wish they had told me to go to the pharmacy right next to them. I have used this clinic for a few things. We always get our flu shots here. Easy in, easy out. We've come to them for earaches and various other cooties. They're always helpful, quick and honest. I absolutely love being able to schedule an appointment online. We have had to wait a few times past out appointment time, but that's expected when dealing with health issues. read more

Made an appointment for 10:40 because my household is battling strep and I needed to get tested to confirm I have it too and got caught in traffic. Showed up at 10:47 and was told I had to wait for the next person in line because I didn't have my ID ready. I got my ID by 10:49 and the Little Clinic refused service because they claimed I wasn't ready in time. The Little Clinic has a 10 minute window late policy for situations like this. I was there and ready and the clinic did not follow their own policy. I showed them the time and how it was 10:49 and they still refused. The PA came out and was combative right off the bat with me. Mocking me for not being able to come back in that day because I'm on vacation and had a reservation booked. Horrible customer service for a industry/clinic that's supposed to be helping people who are sick. It's unfortunate they have the people working there that they do. read more

Had a real solid experience with The Little Clinic in Buckeye. From getting checked in and looked at, the nurse practitioner was educated and genuinely trying to help me out in my miserable state. Super props to APN Michael Doering for taking pride in his work and making sure I left satisfied. I would 100% recommend seeing him specifically. If not for 1 horrendous nurse practitioner here, the place would have been great. He was rude, refused to provide my daughter vaccinations, and told me to take her (16) to a pediatrician to get them. Even though, the night before, the receptionist had told me no problem, even ordered one of the vaccinations that was needed because they were out of it. I will NEVER go back here, will let everyone I know around this entire area the nurse that was a jerk, and will take all my after-hours clinic business to Walgreen's, where we were treated great, got my daughter's vaccinations SAME DAY without any issues, trouble, prejudice, or rudeness. read more

Don't waste your time in this extremely uncaring and unprofessional clinic! I was the first patient to arrive at the clinic when they opened at 8:30AM. The Receptionist and Nurse Practitioner were speaking to a vendor about new equipment and practically ignored me. I was finally told to check-in and then waited while the staff and vendor continued to talk, moving on to personal conversation about where he was going to workout. I waited patiently while they all shot the breeze instead of taking care of a sick patient and paying customer! I assure you that if they were the paying customer in any establishment they would not have appreciated waiting while employees made them wait while listening to personal and non-relevant conversations! I was finally ask to come into the exam room by the Nurse Practitioner. He asked what was wrong and I explained that I had a severe sinus infection, fever, headache and fatigue. I also told him that this happens usually once a year and in the past The Little Clinic prescribes antibiotics to clear it. I have been to this and another clinic at least six times for the same issue. The Nurse Practitioner told me that I would have to be sick for at least 10 days before he would prescribe the antibiotic needed. I told him that I would need to go to my Doctor who is an hour drive and to please refund my payment since he hadn't even taken my temperature. He led me out of the room and the receptionist refunded my payment. I was upset to have wasted time and with the uncaring treatment, but just started to walk out. I had begun to video tape all the conversation from my phone and I was glad I did because the next thing The Nurse Practitioner says as I am leaving is "we might as well has a vending machine out here for antibiotics". I left and went to another walk-in clinic where I was seen, treated with kindness, care and professionalism ... and given a prescription for the antibiotics I needed!!! First time here. Checked online for hours. It was a sunday and they closed at 5pm. I showed up at 4pm. Front desk didn't greet with a hello, just asked if I signed in online. I said no, I was not aware it was needed. She sent me away saying she was booked the rest of the day. There was only one person in waiting room. hard to believe that one person had the entire hour booked. I feel like she just wanted to get out of there and not stay passed 5pm. Bad customer service.
