I've read all kinds of reviews ranging from glowing, to flat out bashing. And that covers all of the licensing offices up here. This one, was fantastic. The two people I worked with there were just great. My first encounter was a quick and extremely easy - I was told exactly what paperwork and info I needed. And given a quick tip of whom to talk to (if there was no line at their window - Thanks for that btw). When I did make it into the office (and dealt with a second person), there was about 6 people in front of me. Moving quick, doesn't even describe it. I had 3 out of state vehicles to transfer in. Not very friendly. I went to transfer my title from a different state with both my name & my husband's name. They told me i need to have him sign a paper saying that the car would only be in my name because he couldn't be present. Or to have it in both our names, my husband needed to be here. I asked the people on the south hill about this same thing over the phone and they said it would be okay without him there. read more

I had to transfer title on three vehicles after my father died. We had some of the information, but not all of it. Two of the vehicles were old - 70's and 80's. Despite this, the clerk who helped me got through all of the paperwork without delay, and with a friendly attitude. I consider this very good service! read more

I do all my vehicle licensing at this office even though it's further away for me. They know their stuff and have always been friendly. Most importantly they get it done right the first time. They are happy to walk me through the paperwork when transferring vehicles. They've saved me money and time by suggesting better ways to accomplish what I need. It's Worth the trip to do your business here. read more

so far so good with this place. had an issue with another place on Sullivan (not saying a name so as not to have issues), they were extremely rude when asked simple questions about title transfer. And said they couldn't help me due to different names on the title. this place said they could help with my issue and sent the paperwork over the phone to complete everything With my lienholder. super thankful because I was starting to panic regarding my registration. don't go to the Sullivan place. go here. read more

Every single employee in this location was wearing their masks below their nose. Seriously?

horrible place. Sarah had me go to a dealership to get an appraisal for my vehicle, came back with it, she called somebody and faxed them over my appraisal paper, made me scoot my chair over so she could help other people while waiting for a phone call back, then after an hour of waiting she told me they couldn't accept it. She was helpful at first, but when I came back her breath smelled like straight vodka and didn't get anything done for me at all. Basically got a big "fuck you" to my face. read more

I needed replacement license plates. The county office explained that some licensing offices were out of license plates due to a shortage of aluminum pieces to make them. I tried to call the Sullivan location first but they never did answer their phone despite many tries. The Sprague location answered the phone on the first call, and answered my question, so I went there. I had to wait for a few minutes in line but walked out with my new licence plates after spending a few minutes with the employee there. Great service, I'll be back! read more

If you want to transfer a vehicle title, DON'T GO HERE!! If there are ANY questions about the transfer, the lady will call Olympia. Spoiler alert, Olympia WILL DOUBLE COLLECT TAX DUE. These people aren't working for the people. read more

Moved from out of state wanted to get my cars registered in Washington. Seemed like they wanted to do as little as possible to help me out ( they were not to friendly either ). I ended up going to a auto licensing office off of n. Sullivan rd as a recommendation from a friend and they did not disappoint. The ones on Sullivan went above and beyond to help my wife and I get everything set up for us to get are registration transferred over to Washington. I won't ever go bad to this place again. read more

Don't let the lines scare you, they are very fast at processing titles and registration renewals. Friendly and straight forward advice about transfers. Would go again if I'm in the valley. read more
