What I found was a dark shadow of the past slipped in with cute signs and family photos that told me I was not welcome there. They did not want my custom. At all. What set me off to the point that I felt the need to make an account here and warn everyone who's willing to read my review about the proprietors of Viking Sewing Center? That would be the prominently displayed photos of an SS officer, decked out in his death's head and double lightning bolts, complete with the red armband. Anyone with eyes and a soul sees that photo, knows it's wrong, and the smart ones turn around and walk away. I'm drawing a blank as to how this shop stays in business. It doesn't matter if they do good work. They might have the best prices and customer service in the known universe, but that can never take the place of a first impression that insinuates that the world would be better without me and others like me in it. This isn't a trivial gripe and shouldn't be overlooked because there is nothing funny about Nazis. As a mixed-race person, I find things like this about as trivial as an aortic rupture.
