Given that I will now have additional expenses to fix their poor installation work to protect my home, I cannot recommend this company.

The experience we had today with Coeur D Alene Window Company and Kipton, their Territory Sales Manager, was over the top impressive. After months of research we determined that these window systems were first rate, manufactured quite well and provide wonderful insulating qualities. After the installation, we noticed some operating issues which is not unusual in as much as the units were shipped by truck from the manufacturing plant. Kipton showed up today and could not have been more personable and genuine. All while wanting to "genuinely" service the units. He has years of experience with windows and glass and it really showed. He went into great detail about the construction of the window systems and the deep dive Coeur 'D Alene takes to assure high performance and quality control. Yet it was his attention to detail in our home today which won the day. That and his generosity of spirit in taking his job and our repair very seriously. The crew was very polite, offered to wear shoe covers and asked before using our "facilities". They worked efficiently and quietly. It was clear they were experienced with installation and function of each product. Any questions or concerns we had were answered and addressed. There was damage to/issues with some of our products and when it was brought up, Anthony was already aware and assured us it would be noted in his after install report and taken care of. The Crew cleaned up any mess and hauled away trash and debris at the end of both install days. We had multiple metal valleys on a steep "artisan" roof fail. They were installed incorrectly…read moreduring our home build, but we didn't realize the problem. Andre, on recommendation from a real state friend of mine, came by at the last minute (after we had a leak!) and in cold, unfavorable weather, to make an assessment and a plan. His estimate was reasonable. He knows his business! He stuck to the plan and the estimate and was able to very carefully and expeditiously replace the metal valleys with the proper materials and technique, while keeping me closely informed throughout the entire project with pictures from the job. He communicated very well and always had excellent explanations. We initially had other roofing companies come out to take a look at the job, and they really were pushing for us to accept that we would need a new roof because they didn't want to be responsible for doing a repair. This was their recommendation, even though the rest of the roof looked absolutely in great shape. Andre was much more reasonable and confident in his ability to do the repair successfully, which he was able to do. We have not had any leaks since then and the roof looks very good. All in all, I highly recommend Andre and his company. It's comforting to deal with a contractor or roofer who you believe is not only intelligent and competent, but also trustworthy.
