When the old male vet was there it was awesome. I brought my cat in April 2026 because every couple of years she gets allergies and an upper respiratory infection and the male vet would give her antibiotics and she would be fine. I told the new vet this and after telling her the symptoms and she required a $1,500 deposit for exam and "possible lifesaving measures" and they would refund the rest upon pickup. When I got there, they did X-rays which I told the receptionist we did not want, just blood and urine tests. They ended up doing $1,800 of care which me or my boyfriend did not authorize. He authorized urine, blood, oxygen and fluids. After this experience I immediately went to Indian trail animal hospital, they looked at her, looked at the work done at Spokane Cat Clinic and listened to me, gave her antibiotics and she is perfectly healthy. If this vet actually listened to me (I never actually met her only the vet tech came out and only the vet techs / reception called me) my cat could have been feeling better faster and I would've saved over $1,000. I emailed them about this and they suggested they will discontinue us as a patient there and we would get better care elsewhere. Yeah they were right, I did that right away. Should've went to my home vet, Indian trail animal hospital, first. read more

Spokane Cat Clinic - Feeling better! - Veterinarians Near Me - Spokane, Washington

Alot of money payed out with little information given and missed diagnoses. Not recommend unfortunately.

Took my cat here to get neutered today and it was a great experience! Very friendly staff and they treated my boy great! They even have him a certificate of bravery! I wouldn't trust my little guy anywhere else. Will be back for anything else he needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

My cat was there for a little over 2 weeks (boarding) and they took really good care of her. I will be taking her back there if/when I go on vacation again. Highly recommend them. Thank you Spokane Cat Clinic in taking care of my "baby". read more

Covid time review: We have been boarding kitty at Spokane Cat Clinic/Spokane Cat Hotel for years, usually for one week at a time. While she has received examinations and vaccinations while boarding, we have not used "walk-in" or urgent services. During the pandemic, boarding is conducted a little differently. I call to schedule as usual, but now forms should be prepared beforehand and pick-up and drop-off are performed in the parking lot while you remain in your vehicle. Staff are masked in this process. This worked pretty smoothly on the most recent stay. In non-pandemic times I have been able to bring her in to the boarding area and house her myself. The kennels are bi-leveled, and each space has a sleeping area and a litter area. I'm told that the cats usually stay in their kennel space, but that staff will let them out to play, time-permitting. The clinic is open every weekday, and while drop-off/pick-up only occur Mon-Fri, cats can board through the weekend, at which time they have a staff member stopping by to check on the animals. I feel good about bringing scaredy kitty here because they are cats only so it is hopefully less traumatic than being somewhere dogs are also present. They are also all cat lovers so I know she gets love and snuggles when we are gone. They typically provide food and litter while boarding, but I usually bring her own food, toys, and bed so that she is as comfortable as possible. Yes I am a cat lady. read more

I brought my cat back in May with concerns because my cat was having issues in her back end with poop and blood and just a general health check up. The vet did not come out to talk to me, a tech did. They first scolded me on brushing my cat and showed me the hair they had gotten out because of brushing hair (she constantly sheds even with consistent brushing) and had me buy a special brush that my cat does not tolerate. They didn't address my concerns with her back end other then to shave it. I also asked about her wait to see if there was any strategies to help her lose weight and they just said not to feed her as much. A little disappointed but after finding a better location my cat is doing better. Just thought a clinic that focused on cats could help more. read more

I took my cat here after going to multiple vets in the area for fur loss problems. Every vet chalked it up to psychological or allergy related problems. After coming in here they quickly identified a UTI and anal gland impaction. I am disappointed my cat had to suffer for months of multiple unnecessary trips to other vets. The staff and treatment here have convinced me to only take my cat to feline specialty vets from now on, I can't recommend them enough. Even if you find a cheaper or closer vet, I would still recommend this place if your goal is your cat's comfort read more

My precious baby girl stayed here for six days when I went away. My usual vet on South Hill does not board, so they recommended this place. Roomy two-room cage for her, large enough for her own bed and a toy or two. I brought her own crunchies and litter, and they were happy to accommodate my wishes. Of course, my cat was happy to get home, but I was really not worried about her when I was on vacation. She'll board here again next time I leave town. read more

The people here are AMAZING! They took such good care of my cat Marley and were patient with him even when he was all wound up during his visit. Marley had an accident in his kennel while on some medicine and they even helped me clean him up. They really went above and beyond and you can tell they truly care about animals and have patience with them. I feel comfortable leaving my pets with them and I would recommend them to family and friends. Thank you SO much guys! read more

Cat artwork on the walls? Check. Cat bric-a-brac? Check. Cat patterned cat pads for the exam tables? Check. Cat sometimes randomly lounging about? Check. Cat staff enthusiastic about cats? DOUBLE CHECK! Every crazy cat person cliché can be found at this adorable little cat clinic and I love it! I started using this clinic a little more than a year ago when I adopted a senior kitty with more health issues than you could shake a stick at. The care and compassion received, nothing short of amazing. Even when it came time to help my adorable old kitty find peace the tenderness shown was remarkable. Since I have become the proud human of a fiery hairless Sphynx and have only ever used Spokane Cat Clinic for her veterinary needs. The reception staff, techs and vets have all been pleasant, understanding and knowledgeable. Wait times has been short to non-existent, rates are fair and appointments have been a breeze to schedule. But most of all, they actually care about the wellness of your fur babies (or furless baby in my case). read more

They took such good care of my beloved fur baby when I was out of town. I went to pick up my cat and he seemed content just being there and didn't seem to want to leave. I liked how caring and passionate they are about cats. I felt happy my cat was stress free while in their care. read more

Found this place online in a pinch - just needed a simply spay for my kitten - which turned into a complicated surgery, infection and possible allergic reaction, i.e. 2 more visits. After the initial surgery, the treating vet gave me her personal phone number to send her updates on my cat's progress throughout the week. She was even willing to come into the clinic off hours to help me out. I later did bring my cat in to have her incision area checked out, and I left with no bill, 2 medicine samples, and a happy cat! This place goes above and beyond and it is so clear that they love cats and love the work that they do. read more

I have had great experiences here. They treat me like my time is valuable. And they are wonderful with my babies

My cats always go to Spokane Cat Clinic, and one of them has boarded here regularly. The veterinarians and staff do a terrific job! I never have to wait when I get there. Dr. Carter works very hard at following up on visits and tests with phone calls to let me know what's going on. read more
