The staff are great and not only dry the exterior of your car they also open the doors and wipe down the door jams. They are always nice and courteous. I dropped my car off for a minor express detailing service that I had a gift card for, which they accidentally booked me under the all-day deluxe detailing. After paying more for the deluxe service I didn't consent to, I drove my car off the lot to my screen and sound system completely black and my car full of moisture. The screen/sound system was working just fine before the service and I have photos/documentation to prove it. I called the next day and was told to bring the car back and they'd file a report and take photos (which I did). After a week of no contact they stopped responding to my calls/messages/were extremely rude when I showed up in person, and said they weren't liable and would not fix. I even went as far as getting the car diagnosed by an expert with proof of water damage and they won't cooperate/share their insurance information with me to allow the insurance to deem who is liable... I will now be filing a letter from an attorney, but I'm sure they're hoping I give up and pay the thousands of $ in damage. Horrible customer service and honestly emotional/financial trauma from this experience. Again-- have never written a bad review, but don't want anyone else to go through what I've been through!!!

Our mirrors ended up flipped in and therefore none of the soap got rinsed off of them. It didn't dry the water off the back of our car and there was still soap all over the back as well. We were left with water and soap spots everywhere. We got the $18 wash. I wouldn't let this place touch my car again. It honestly made me extremely nervous, esp since we have a brand new car. When I arrived without an appointment, he was able to take about 15 minutes to get the decal residue off, even though he was doing an interior detail on another car. HW offers a wide range of services, from a car wash to full on interior and exterior detailing (or whatever else you need) - prices are online, but he's able to give you a quote for things that aren't on the list as well. Finding the place can be a little difficult - it doesn't stand out as a garage off of Cleveland Ave. It's actually attached to a corner shopping center, with a few parking spots in the front. You have to bring your car to the back for service, and it's a bit of a narrow alleyway. There are a few negatives - the first is that House of Wax does not take credit or debit cards. I was glad I had enough cash, but I had no idea until I was about to pay. The other is that for a wash or detail, you have to leave your car there. Since it's a one man operation, you have to find your own way back to home or work, no one can give you a short ride. A full interior and exterior detail is apparently a full-day operation, so you can't just wait around the way I did for my decal.
