People - 10/10 Food - 10/10 Drinks - na Decor - 8/10 Restrooms - (didn't use) I was in the area and I saw that splendid sushi had a sign advertising $4.99 sushi. So I thought I'd go in and see what my options were and try something out. I went in and the worker was very friendly and showed me a list of choices. I ended up going with the spicy shrimp roll and I was amazed. The turnaround time for getting the sushi was quick and I enjoyed the texture and flavor. I would highly recommend this if you're in the mood for some sushi! Will definitely be returning!

My girlfriend and I stopped by from out of town and found this lovely spot. It was just the refreshing stop of warm and stomach easy East Asian cuisine we were looking for. While New Hampshire has lovely decadent foods, after three days of dairy and sugars it was nice to have some beautifully steamed veggies, top notch sushi rice and some wonderfully simple but well dressed and full bodied protein. Unreal sushi! Fresh, clean ingredients that you can taste with each bite. I visited for the first time on their Tuesday and Wednesday sushi special days. Ordered two rolls (10pc - $4.99 each) and was so amazed with the quality that I went back and ordered their miso soup and pork dumplings (both also amazing). Decided to go ice fishing with my dad the other day. We sat on the ice a few hours and caught nearly nothing. To make up for it, we decided we needed some fresh fish (sushi!) for lunch. We stumbled about this place and let me tell you- the quality of the sushi was amazing. It's very fresh. Splendid sushi is a small, locally owned business. It's order at the counter style. Splendid Sushi has been a great find in Concord. This place is quick, cheap (with $4.99 specials on Tuesdays and Wednesdays), and very clean. It is a small family run business and the owners are so lovely and attentive to the food being prepared and to the customers as well. The sushi is very fresh and the portions are quite big. I love coming here and I think it will get more popular & have a host of regular customers once people start discovering it read more

Wow!! This is my new favorite place to get sushi. The flavors and options are endless. Everything is very fresh. I was so impressed by the sweet potato roll, not expecting that it would be just the right level of spicy. The Japanese soda is good too, although it's tricky to open the first time. You'll find a clean, beautiful yet small restaurant with peaceful music playing. This is a great find! read more

This place truly shocked me with how delicious and clean everything about it is. The staff is incredibly friendly, the menu has great variety at an outstanding price, and, the atmosphere of the place is perfect. They play soft music and the overall atmosphere is quiet and calm, which puts you in the most for sushi I feel like lol. The bathroom was also very clean. The decoration was quite cute too considering it was all locally based images/artwork. Very glad to have this place in concord, I hope it stays for years to come :) I got a roll and soup for only $7, and there were even better options like 2 5pc rolls for 4.99! I have traveled and know what a poke bowl truely should be. Considering that Nh isnt exactly a place that I would expect great poke, this is the best, closest to what I wanted. The flavor was correct and the portion size was generous. I have had an ahi bowl and a spicey ahi bowl. Both were great. My friend from Japan visited me and I brought them here, and he said it was his favorite place out of the three places I brought him to. There was something hard like a pebble in it every few bites, I don't think it was on purpose. The samosas were good. The momos didn't appear to be made on site. They were just tossed from what looked to be pre-packaging from the freezer and tossed into the heater. I felt immediately sick and thought my food might've been contaminated (I have good allergies but was told these item didn't contain the ingredients). However, my boyfriend also felt ill soon after. He has no food allergies. It's counter service in the back corner of the store. The people were friendly enough.

I got a smoothie at a coffee house in just outside Bar Harbor and it was absolute garbage. So it was nice to have one where they actually have you what you ordered. Most places in Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire all allow dogs. I travel with my little Yorkie wherever I go. Alfred loves to travel haha! He is my child...seeing as I do not have any human kids. My dog is my life. So it's nice when you go into places and they welcome dogs. This place....does not tho. Thats boooo! HOWEVER! I TOTALLY understand! I TRULY do! I travel with my dog everywhere, but yes, I do realize this place is a restaurant and they all have their rules. I just love restaurants that allow dogs haha! I am not one of those psychos that will tear a place apart about not allowing dogs. I am one who actually respects policies like this. And yes, I bring my dog with me bc it's just me...and my dog. He is a 6lb Yorkie who I will never leave alone nor would I ever kennel him. I say all this bc so many people out there judge others who bring their dogs everywhere. He is a family member. He comes with me. Just go to this place wherever you run into one. It really is a great place. They were all SO nice in there even when they asked my take Alfie back outside. Noce view of the downtown area too if you take you lunch or whatever outside to their outdoor seating...which I am guessing is probably brought in now...seeing as it is almost December. Ok thats it. I know I rambled a lot here, but I feel it all fits with my review. I ramble a lot to begin with. If you read this...thank you! I joined Yelp just to give a solid five stars to this gem in downtown Concord. Best sushi around, and the prices are quite reasonable as well. They also offer ahi and salmon poke, which I have been unable to find anywhere else locally. Very high quality ingredients, everything tastes fresh and delicious. Their chicken and beef rice bowls are excellent as well (orange chicken is a particular favorite in our family). Dumplings, miso soup, seaweed salad too. Ok, everything we've tried is terrific! I'm not easy to please; I highly recommend checking this place out. Eat here often -- this is the type of business we need to support in downtown! read more

Outstanding sushi experience - best I have had in New Hampshire. The restaurant is very clean, bright, the staff was very polite & friendly. The sushi was fresh and the portions were very large. The rolls were creative and delicious. I have an avocado allergy, and they were able to easily accommodate this. I would give it 6 stars if they had hot sake! read more
