Bethany and her team were amazing! I had they provide the florals for our wedding last month and we were NOT disappointed. All the arrangements were beautiful and the floral selections were perfect for the colors we provided! My (now) husband and I are from out of town so selecting vendors over the phone were a challenge, but Bethany made the choice seem less and we were so happy with everything! Thanks to everyone who helped provide all of our beautiful florals!

I cannot say enough about how much I recommend Bethany at Splendid Sentiments! She did my wedding back in Aug 2009 and she went above and beyond my greatest expectations!! She is a true master of her craft and her prices are very reasonable! She is very creative and I could tell was not interested in gouging my wallet but instead creating a beautiful vision for my wedding. She offered suggestions on flowers that would be beautiful and save me money (i.e. carnations in place of roses) which looked just as awesome! Not to mention when I sat down to meet Bethany I felt immediately comfortable and knew she was the right choice! My guests LOVED the flowers at my wedding and I recommend her to everyone!!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Is all I have to say! Our flowers were so stunning. Bethany and her team exceeded my expectations by a long shot! I didn't have a clear visual and just kept throwing different flowers to the mix and Bethany made it happen! She has an amazing eye for what she does and is extremely creative! Thank you so much Bethany! I didn't even know I wanted flowers and she changed all of that for me! Bethany will make all of your flower dreams come true!

Where do I even begin!? Bethany was absolutely fantastic. I must admit straight out the gate that I'm a very particular individual and had a fairly specific request list for our bridal flowers. Admittedly, Bethany was slightly above what we had originally wanted to spend for our floral designs, however, after seeing the absolutely incredible end result I know I can speak for both my husband and I when I say that the cost was well worth it! I will definitely be updating this review once our official photos come in so that I can better relay what spectacular work Bethany provided!

Bethany and the whole Splendid Sentiments team were amazing! In only one meeting she was able to perfectly understand my vision for the day, even expanding upon it. All the floral was beautiful, exceeding my hopes and expectations. And all for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this team to any bride/groom.

Originally, I had planned on making the flower arrangements for my wedding the night before with the help of my bridesmaids. My mom quickly ousted that idea, and I'm so glad she did. But, that decision proved to be difficult as most floral shops were closed for our July 4th wedding. When I contacted Bethany however, she reassured me that we could make it happen, as long as we did the pick up which was perfect for us as we didn't have any arrangements that required excessive setup on site. While I love flowers, I'm very picky, and don't like very bright colors or hydrangeas. Upon my first consultation with Haley, she was quick to pick up on my vision for what I wanted and what I did not. She made sure to write "NO HYDRANGEAS" on all of the paperwork, and she put my worries at ease when I found that she could make all my wants happen while staying within budget. Even better! I can't thank this wonderful team enough for creating everything I envisioned and more!

Our flowers came out beautifully, the only issue was that there was an issue with one of the employees. The employee was hired to deal with Wedgewood accounts and she was not communicative and lost an order for an additional bouquet we ordered (it was the bouquet for the bouquet toss, not one of the bridesmaids bouquets or my bouquet). The employee was subsequently fired, but that was our only issue We upgraded a lot from the original Wedgewood package and were happy with what we got. It would have been 5 stars otherwise.

Bethany does the BEST wedding flowers and floral arrangements in San Diego!! She and her team are super creative and are willing to go above and beyond for your special events! I got married about a month ago, but booked Bethany about a year ago=) It was like a match made in flower heaven. I gave her my vision and she and her girls ran with it and seriously BLEW ME AWAY!! I can't even express how happy and pleased I was with every aspect of my flowers. I love love love Bethany!! She's awesome to work with. http://mysplendidsentiments.blogspot.com is her blog where you can see her beautiful work! Seriously, go check it out... there is nothing cookie cutter about her work!!

Bethany's work is tremendous! I really don't know anything about flowers..... I can only look at something and tell you if I like it or not. When trying to find the look for my wedding, I knew the colors I wanted but wasn't sure on where to go with it. Bethany helped us find the best look for our wedding! She can quickly understand what you are going for and more importantly, what you don't want. "No crazy flowers for you..." haha. She was right. She made my vision come to life! She has so many great ideas and photos to look from to help narrow down what you want. I also brought in an idea I had from a friends' wedding and she was so excited to work on something unique. She's always up for a challenge! Bethany is easygoing, friendly and you can really tell she has her bride's best interest at heart. Her prices were unbeatable and she made sure to keep within my budget. With many vendors making you feel like you're getting ripped off, she really made me feel like my money was going as far as possible. Two of my friends have already booked with her because she really is the best. Thank you so much Bethany and team! :)

I was hesitant to write this review because I am positive Bethany hates me. However, I feel that I have something to say, so here it is. Splendid sentiments was included in our Venue at Wedgewood Fallbrook so we were required to use them. My wedding flowers were AMAZING. They were more amazing than I ever thought that they would be. On the flowers alone, Splendid Sentiments EXCEEDED my expectations in every way. Bethany and her team are true artists and my jaw dropped when I saw my bouquet. It was more beautiful than anything I had been dreaming of on Pinterest and it brought tears to my eyes. If you're looking for amazing flowers, this truly is the place to go. With that being said, I think there are some improvements to be made. Phone contact with Splendid sentiments is not easy. We had called several times to ask questions or ask our balance before coming in to pay and we no one ever answered and we did not receive returned calls. It was easier for my husband to go down to the store than get anyone on the phone. Additionally, We were told that our balance could only be paid in cash. EXACT change. My husband had to go to the bar next door to get the exact 53 cents needed to pay our balance with them. We found that to be a bit annoying and would prefer a credit card option. The confusing thing was that they let us pay our deposit with a credit card... so it was a bit different. Finally, We never signed anything the day of our appointment. We were not handed a contract, asked to sign and return it and we were not told any "terms & conditions" on the day of. We did not leave with a contract stating what we requested including our balance owed or anything. On the day of our wedding, our centerpieces were so gorgeous that I wanted to share them with family and friends. Since I did not know if we were able to take them or not, I asked our banquet Captain at our venue if they were ours to take. He asked If we got them through their vendor, if we paid for them etc. Which I responded, yes. He said that he assumed we could take them and never mentioned to leave anything behind. As our wedding was coming to an end, a representative from Splendid sentiments came to pick up the vases. This was after some of my family had left, with the centerpieces which included the short wooden vases. At that time, Zach, our banquet captain told us, "The woman from the florist is here to pick up the vases, you weren't supposed to take them." This was the first time that we had heard this. From anyone. I am NOT a rule breaker so at that time, this gave me a TON of anxiety. I was pretty much freaking out as I was supposed to be running out to my wedding night. That night, my husband tried to put me at ease saying everything would work out. I tried to put it on the back burner because I had more important things to think about and enjoy- like my honeymoon the next day. The day after our wedding, we flew to Cabo for our 8 day honeymoon. The day we left, while I was on the plane, I received a call from Bethany. I did not receive it as my voicemail was not working in Mexico. The next day, Tuesday, I received another call from Bethany telling me that I owed her $280 for the vases that I had taken. She told me that it clearly stated in my contract that I was not to take them. I told Bethany I had never received a contract. To that I was told that they e-mail the contracts to you after your appointment. Well, I never received mine. She then forwarded me my contract and this was the first time I had ever seen it. There is was at the bottom, that the vases belonged to splendid sentiments. This was the first time I had ever heard this and I was on my honeymoon. The catch was, I had never signed this contract. So, how was I to know that this was their policy? Honestly, an Unsigned contract is only a piece of paper without my signature, it means nothing. So Bethany really had no leg to stand on in upholding it. But, she tried. Wednesday of my honeymoon came along and I received another call AND e-mail from Bethany. After having anxiety about this for two full days of my honeymoon, I was done. Bethany knew I was on my honeymoon and she didn't care. This couldn't have waited until 7 days later when I got home and wasn't trying to enjoy the first few days with my new husband? I finally called my venue who had required I use Splendid sentiments in the first place. By this time, I was in tears. They were furious. They strictly told Bethany not to contact me until after I returned from my honeymoon. I told them "my side of the story" and also that I would have NEVER taken the vases if I knew that I wasn't supposed to. I would have never intended for the relationship to end this way and I was devastated. My venue told me that they would handle it from there, which I assume they did because I have not heard from Bethany since. Again, Amazing work, just make sure to do your due diligence and I am sure everything will work out.

I was extremely happy that Bethany helped me make the most of my budget and created a beautiful floral design for our Wedgwood Wedding. I did upgrade mostly everything included in the Wedgewood Package but it was 100% worth it. Loved my flowers, loved the floral design for the ceremony and loved the centerpieces.

bethany bent over backwards to give me some really special floral arrangements for my wedding. she is extremely talented and totally willing to work with your vision and your budget. the store is relatively new, but she's been in the business for many years. i actually had another florist booked originally; bethany rescued me when they backed out a few weeks before the wedding. my best advise? tell her what you've been thinking and then trust her to make it a hundred times better!
