The clothes here are fine. A bit over priced, run large, but absolutely fine. The big problem is the old ladies that work here. I'm not sure what their issue is but they are the only salespeople in town that seem to want to call me fat. I ask them to get me an extra small and they question me. Not only is that my best fit, when it's not too large in this store. But some ladies like things clingy. If that was my taste who are they to judge if I'm willing to pay their high prices. I will stick with stores with kind and respectful salespeople. Thanks but no thanks Splendid big overpriced nothing. read more

so I went to splendid in Scottsdale at Kierland Commons at Commons and helped me both times. She is absolutely fantastic and her service was impeccable. I got there too the store was closed, but she opened it up for me and I ended up spending way more money than I thought. The clothes are just fantastic and she honored the prices because of Emma I purchased a ton of really adorable clothing that I'm just gonna love for the holidays. She is probably one of the best sales people that I've ever encountered in retail clothing. She is just fantastic. read more

I've been to this store in Kierland Commons twice now. The first time was about a month ago. Kristina (sp?) was the salesperson who helped me and my sister and I thought she was great. I loved everything I purchased and Kristina was super helpful. She offered great suggestions and was never pushy. About a week or two afterwards, I decided to get a few more of their shirts, so I just ordered them online. Unfortunately, my experience was not very good, as two of three shirts I ordered never arrived. I was told they were sent in 3 different packages and arrived a few minutes apart. This does not make any sense, as I don't believe FedEx would ever send 3 trucks, 3 minutes apart from one another. I live in a private, gated community in North Scottsdale and I've never seen more than one FedEx truck on any given day. I was home at the time and upon hearing something at my door, I immediately opened it and only one FedEx package, with one shirt, was there. Anyway, after going back and forth with online customer service, I was told it would take 14 days while they do an investigation. While this is still going on, I decided to go back into Splendid (in Kierland Commons). When I walked in, the first person I saw was Kristina. She actually remembered me! I was very impressed. I explained what happened online and she was so apologetic (although none of it was her fault). She was so sweet and offered me a discount on anything I purchased. I ended up buying a couple of tee shirts and a cute pair of sandals. Kristina is the best! Splendid is lucky to have such an incredible salesperson representing them!! read more

Their rewards policy is a racket. I used my earned points for a shirt on Saturday ($25) and then went to return it today and was told it was now on sale. They would not apply the $25 to the new purchase nor would they return my points to me. I earned those points from prior purchases and then they technically took them from me. Splendid is a cute little store that recently opened in Kierland Common that focuses on softness -- both in clothing as well as cosmetics. I've been in the store a few times and they seem to do a good business in womens tops and dresses, along with a smaller business for men and children. I was very impressed with their lotions and hand creams given our dry weather. Nice! read more

Visiting from Boston and felt very uncomfortable in this store. Salespeople were pushy and I definitely felt judged. Trying on clothes and repeatedly bothered while changing. Kept politely saying I was "all set" but kept being asked how I was doing. At checkout, saleswoman seemed super annoyed that I only bought a shirt that was on sale. This place is a very very sad excuse for retail and a great reason to shop on line in order to avoid the attitude of the employees. My wife purchased a dress and with in twenty (24) hours, my wife attempted to return the dress due to it not fitting properly. Upon her arrival to the retail location @ Kierland Commons, and making contact with the clerk at the time, my wife was treated like a 2nd class citizen upon making her requested for a refund on the dress that she purchased! A simple $89 dress is all that is was/is. The clerk then went in a f%*}ing rant on how the previous employee should bid advises my wife that there are no returns or exchanges. Talk about being slighted by a retail company!!! Thank God for Amex and being aCenturion Member, as Amex is handling this issue. read more
