We really liked the size and how easy it was to be centrally located between all the water features. It was very easy to keep an eye on our kids. We took a cooler in ($30 fee) and saved money on food for our family of 5. There were plenty of chairs in the shade. Parking was easy (arrived 10 minutes before opening). Arrived at 10:45 on a Summer Tuesday. They will check your bags and coolers upon entry. We rented cabana 19. This one is in the perfect location. Right next to the drinks, food, bathrooms, and lazy river entrance. It is tucked away for a little privacy also. The staff was awesome. Madison took very good care of us. We were a party of 12, and she took care of all our drinks, food, and anything else we needed. She was awesome. There were some smaller cabanas near the pelican kids area, so that would be nice if that's where you plan on spending most of your time. The food was your typical ballpark style food. We had burgers, chicken fingers, nachos, and brisket nachos. It was decent... no complaints. The park was cleaner than most of the other water parks I've been to. But with that many people it is hard to keep it spotless. Our kids had a blast. The adults enjoyed the shade and the breeze under the cabana. Some of the rides were down when we got there. But they got them back up. We left around 4:30pm. It was crowded but not horrible. All in all it was a pretty good trip. Grandma of two Grandsons, one 8 yrs old and other ten with vision problems but very polite and smart don't bring them to splash kingdom in Canton Tx. We had a 2 day pass and rented nearby so we could be close to park truly enjoyed the first day even though it rained and park closed early. My Ten year old Grandson with vision problems and over weight for his age only enjoyed surf side and lazy river, he was kicked out of the surf side by a lifeguard working that area because of his weight, he was very upset and wanted to leave, I then asked for management to come speak to us and they did, I told them that the lifeguard told my grandson he weighed to much to go down enclosed water slide, when he had been playing in area the day prior and 4hrs of the second day, they said varied on lifeguard to let them or not, that is terrible to tell a child hes to fat . This place is irritating, disgusting, and unsafe. Let me start by saying I purchased season passes for my family of four when it first opened for the summer, so I have been here four or five times before writing this review. - When you first walk in, the security will check your bag for food and drinks. Their so-called policy online is very vague; you're only allowed to bring in one unopened water per person and a toddler-sized snack for kids under 5. BUT the person checking the bag gets to determine the size. For example, my 5-year-old was only allowed to have one cheese stick, not two sticks. I know my 5-year-old isn't the only kid who eats more than one cheese stick. - Next are the bathrooms; the women's bathroom is so disgusting, no matter what time of day it is. The smell can be compared to an overused porta-potty; it's enough to discourage you from using the bathroom stalls. Sadly, it's the only private place to change clothes. - Lastly, the lifeguards move around but don't react to any of the kids who are hurt or drowning. Mostly focus on other little things, such as telling people not to sit on the side of the toddler activity area. I watched two kids coughing up water, not even a "are you okay" from the lifeguard. A 1-year-old moved just in time before the giant bucket of water tipped over her head--zero situational awareness from the lifeguard. Three kids slipped on the concrete near the 2-4-year-old Nemo slide. I witnessed two kids rubbing their butts or sides on the ground as they came down the slides in the front of the kids' activity area. Another kid got kicked in the back of the head because the kid behind him, on the back long slide, didn't want to wait for him to finish sliding down and move out of the way. There were also two young kids in the kids' activity area without any adults with them. If I had to guess their ages, maybe 4 and 5 years old. More than likely siblings. It was very dirty... boring and crowded. My kids found a new game, they collect the bugs they found in the lazy river and wave pool. Food is overpriced, spent $130 just on food and drinks alone for 3 people . They don't allow water bottles??!!! Please invest in water shoes, this place is very gross and full of area that can cause harm. The staff was ok... but rude!! They messed up my order twice!! Never got an apology, they just shrugged it off and had the biggest attitude. The stairs up the slides was full of sand and gross debris. Though the slides were fun to play, those stairs and the wait wasn't fun. I hope that they would use the money that they rip customers off and give the place a deep clean or new area. Greenville location gets worse every year. We like the Canton Splash Kingdom a lot better than Greenville. However, they both have their strengths and weaknesses. Greenville will serve you up for $6.95 a box of 40 to 50 funnel fries to where Canton gives you 12 funnel fries in a little boat shape box for the same $6.95 price. Greenville has a bigger wave pool and more space read out, however, Canton has way better water slides. Greenville needs to be updated with slides that compete with other water parks. Both locations don't know anything about the season pass and can't determine at check in if you have a silver or gold pass. Now they have added what they call VIP parking where they charge you $10 to park in. The sign says donate and a donation is normally what you want to give to the cause and not a fixed rate,so, the fact they make you pay $10 and tell you it's a donation, to me, means you don't pay if you don't want to donate. It has caused major parking problems and they should let you know that iparking is not included with your season pass. parking has become a nightmare in Greenville. They advertise that all of their parks are the same, however, Canton has Friday Noght Lights which means they shoot pff fireworks every Friday night at closing, 9 pm. Greenville says they have Friday Night Lights with no fireworks. So many differences to suppose to be alike at all locations read more

They have changed their music to mostly pop, which is a little disappointing, and I don't see their logo "seek ye first the kingdom" on their website anymore. Sad to see Christian businesses bowing to popular culture. Still a great park. The only other comment I have is that the bathrooms are filthy and not maintained throughout the day- toilets were backed up and mold on the shower walls. (When was the last time the bathrooms were scrubbed with bleach?) Curtains covering the showers gone (??). I would suggest updating the bathrooms, and having someone check them every 2 hours to keep in order. Still worth visiting. After 4pm on Friday is discounted. read more

I am upset because it is the end of the season and splash Kingdom has changed their policy on the beach chairs being put in the wave pool. it was a great time to sit in the beach chairs in the shallow water and enjoy the sun; now they've change the rules. No beach chairs in the pool at all or in the water at all. The manager said that people were taking advantage of it. Chairs were in the very deep end of the pool and it was a safety concern which is not true. I realize it is a minor problem but I don't see the concern. If people enjoy this and it doesn't interfere with others in the wave pool, SK should try to accommodate their guests! JMO! read more

I was not only singled out because my bathing suit was too revealing but I was harassed over the fact that I was there with my girlfriend. I was referred to as "lesbian" and told that it "wasn't very christian of me" It was made clear to management prior to my purchase that I wasn't gonna be allowed to enter the park yet I was still sold a ticket. I left with no questions asked after being told I wasn't welcome and I didn't get a refund regardless if it was failure on their end or not. me and my cousins got kicked out of going on a kids slide (I am 16 and my cousins are both 10) when we were notified about the 5 and under rule (we hadn't seen the rule before) and we tried to explain ourselves and see that we hadn't seen the rule. The "supervisor" would not listen to us and was harassing us to the point of one of my cousins crying, she was repeatedly calling me and my cousins "Dumb retarded niggers" and "shitfaced thief's" (we are all black and she was racist) and threatened to kick us out and call the police multiple times, so we left to try and de-escalate the situation, when I came back with my cousins hours later, she kicked us out for going on the slide again (none of us did). and also, the pink panic slide got everyone stuck, and when I asked the lifeguard about it, she said that they all knew but chose not to fix it, and my cousin also broke his toe last time we were here, and everything is dirty and there were a lot of bugs in the lazy river. The park is somewhat rundown and seemingly only marginally maintained. There are a lot of leaves and dirt, as well as some floating trash in the lazy river. The slides are in need of some paint, and the screws on the stairs leading up to one of the slides is rusted, so we were essentially walking barefoot on rust when climbing to the top of the slide. Considering their prices, the park should be better maintained. Our three year old is too small to go anywhere except the kiddie area, and they wouldn't let us go down the largest kiddie side with her, so until she finally got the courage, she was limited to a handful of tiny slide and a kiddie pool. The charge for her is around $21, and around $27 for each parent. It's just not a good value. On a positive note, the employees, to include the pleasant security lady at the front, most of the lifeguards, as well as the food stand members were all very friendly and accommodating. We are also happy to at least have the option of going to the park, considering there isn't a lot to do east of Dallas out where we live. And our daughter did enjoy herself. read more

My family and I love this waterpark, we live in Canton and don't have much to do around here. This waterpark might not me the biggest, but they have been through so much this year including fires, covid, water pipe busts, and more, and I would say they're doing pretty good for all that! The music playing is always encouraging and family friendly, staff members are SO friendly and easy to work with! Although the park needs some upgrades, my friends and I come here almost EVERY DAY during summer just to hang out and have fun! I love this small waterpark and have a lot of fun here! It's a small enjoyable water park to get away for a few hours but make sure there is no rain in sight on the radar. We were there for 1 hr and it closed for severe weather, which is understandable, so we received a rain check for admission but they would not give us a pass for when we return for the $20 we spent to bring in our coolers. I've been to Splash Kingdom Canton at least 10 times over the last 4 years and will not be back. I spent $41.03 online yesterday for 2 Saturday tickets to use while we were in Canton at trade days for the day. It has been raining since 8:00 am this morning and hasn't let up by 2:00 pm yet. We stopped by and asked the tellers if we could exchange the tickets for another day next season or change to another Splash Kingdom like Nacogdoches tomorrow since we are leaving Canton at 4:00 pm today and will be in Nacogdoches tomorrow. The tellers told me no refunds or exchanges even if it rains. There are literally more employees at the park than customers because of the freezing rain. I then called and spoke to a manager to express my concerns and she said thank you, she never asked for my name or number and never offered any solution. This was the sight of my cousins death last summer. He was on a ride that uses a constant stream of water to allow participants to surf. To my understanding the surface is rather hard if you were to fall. My cousin and former Marine had the board washed out from under him causing him to land flat on his back which caused an impact induced heart attack. Also, I got a groupon for two admissions and a meal voucher. We drove an hour and they told us they are no longer working with groupon and we have to pay the different. I read the fine print, which did not list any reason. I also called them the day before to ask to make sure they are accepting groupon and they said "everything looks good" We wasted an hour drive for no reason even though we were prepared. For the least, I thought they would own up to the mistake of not putting it up in the fine print. What might have been a nice family birthday celebration was pretty much ruined with something has minor as horrible customer service. The staff at the Canton Splash Kingdom mishandled a situation that could have simply have been saved by an "I'm sorry." I would have expected so much more from a "Christian Company". My daughter was hungry so I ordered a pretzel for $3.25. They charged me $4. When I protested they said they had it marked wrong. I asked for a receipt and while waiting for the receipt I went to grab my phone to take a picture of the sign with the $3.25 CLEARLY displayed and I simply expected then to hand me my receipt and offer and apology but instead this is that happened: 4 employees were digging in the trash for my receipt and there was a girl out there changing the prices with a blue marker... I am glad I had my phone because I was able to get pics of the before and after signs, the girl holding the blue marker and the employees digging in the trash. To make matters worse, they never said sorry only that they said they couldn't honor the $3.25 because they had charged that all day and it wouldn't be fair to the other customers. Wow... can you say false advertising? Mistakes I get, I understand misprints happen and things just go wrong; but to never receive an APOLOGY from a single staff member. I have no respect for this place anymore... This was my first visit and most likely it will be my last. All of this could have been avoided with (obviously) better management but above all better customer service. How hard is it to teach your team to apologize to a customer for something that is clearly a mistake on someone's part?? I am appalled. We had a great day celebrating my sons birthday otherwise but it was ruined by this event which happened about 1 and a half before closing. Great family friendly experience. We came just to pass the time. We had a good time, the kids really enjoyed themselves it is a small park so it is easy to keep an eye on everyone. We came in the early morning which was a good choice. There were little to no lines and the kids were able to get back on the ride as many times as they wanted. Luckily we didn't come after 4pm to partake in the special because that's when the lines started to fill up and the park started to get congested. Great experience. My sister and I took a 9, 7, 6, and 3 year old and they all had a great time. We arrived when it opened. We quickly got through bag check. We found the park generally clean but there were leaves and dirt in places. It can be difficult to secure a shady spot so get there when it opens or resign yourself to a spot in the sun. We brought our own lunch and you are unable to bring in the park. We were able to sit underneath a tree at a picnic table and eat our lunch, then reenter the park with no problems. For the slides, we never waited longer than 10 minutes. The workers were nice. We did want to buy mid-afternoon sno-cones but they weren't for sale. We purchased ice cream and Icees instead. We left when it closed and had a great day! read more

Oh where to start.... ugh. I wish I took pictures of this place to really show yelp what it was like. We arrive. It's 30ish dollars per person to get in, not including anything. We paid extra for a cabana. This is a small water park. Everything is outdated and needs to be either deep cleaned or totally replaced. Our cabana had chairs that were completely sunken in. Hardly able to even sit in them. Not very many rides. The lazy river barely moved and had tons of grass in it. The bathrooms were vomit inducing with slimy floors and nasty toilets. I just felt gross the whole day. My mother in law couldn't bring in her medications because they came in glass vials. I couldn't bring my salad in- no outside food inside. But I could buy one for $15....no thanks. The cherry on top of this s--t Sunday was the fact that our group caught someone GOING THOUGH OUR BAGS! That's a whole different story with tons of drama but the man left on his own terms and his family was allowed to stay. I couldn't take long enough shower when I got home. read more
