I've been a loyal customer of this car wash since the days it was known as Splash, and now it's under new management as Go Car Wash. For a long time, I thought this place was the best car wash in town, but lately, it's been nothing but disappointment. During my last few visits, it felt like the soap levels were practically non-existent. My car barely got sprayed with soap, which is pretty frustrating when you're paying for a service. Today, at least the soap was working, so that was an improvement, but then came another issue. They offer free rags to clean the inside of your car, but when I went to grab some, there were none available. I tried to find an attendant, and when I finally did, he just told me I needed to go to the front to get some. This meant driving through the car wash again just to talk to someone in the office up front. When I asked the person there, all I got was a casual "Oh, sorry, I don't have any up here." No effort to find more, no offer to help. Basically, he didn't care. So now I'm supposed to just deal with it? I ended up driving through the car wash a second time, hoping someone would bring out new rags. After wasting even more time and still no rags, I got fed up and left. I pay $25 a month for this membership, and I'm not even getting basic service like a rag to clean my car? Honestly, at this point, I might as well wash my car at home. I'm really disappointed and won't be recommending this place to anyone. read more

It was 5:58 p.m. when I drove in, employee #122392 said I was last customer when I asked if they were closing, but I could get my car washed. Thank you. I was surprised that the cost went up $2 for basic wash since I last went there. He explained about their offer of unlimited car washes for the first and second months, but rates would go up after that. I declined the special offer. I upgraded one level and purchased the $15 wash. I stopped going to this location because I felt even the basic car wash should have made my car look clean. I was told then that in order to get a better wash I would have to upgrade. I've been going to drive thru car washes at gas stations which cost less. my car is an older model, but I like it clean. I didn't notice if attendant even sprayed my car before it being washed. This time I noticed the drying station was much better and dried my car pretty well. I have the monthly membership. So I tAke full advantage of the unlimted washes, especially with a toddler. I usually just vaccum , dry the mirrors and windows and leave. But today I decided to try the full service ( which I haven't done since the carwash was remodeled into the self service so tells you how long that's been). Anyways, I was shocked to see that with a membership you get a discount for full service so definately a plus and good perk for future uses. I was skeptical because my car is still semi new and seeing bad reviews. But I have never had an issue so I went for full service. I was able to drive my car through the tunnel and I sat and watched my car get cleaned. The manager helped every body as much as he could. Which shows he is very hands on and isn't just a behind the scene person. I was really impressed with how my car came out. My toddler had graham cracker crumbs, finger prints and stains on his side of the door which I made worse trying to clean myself. But the employee here worked magic and got all the toddler mess out! I wish Tommy's Car Wash was still in Hemet. I really liked washing my car there. They always had a variety of music to listen to while you dried and vacuumed your car. And their car wash actually washed your car and spot free rinse was really spot free. Their prices were reasonable and their staff was super friendly and helpful. There's NO COMPARISON. It's no wonder this place did what ever they did to get rid of Tommy's. This is a price gauging car "wash". read more

I went and spent $160 on a FULL INTERIOR DETAIL yesterday on a rav4 (for context I work for a dealership and detail cars but we are overloaded so tried to find good help. )This was not worth 160. I picked it up at the end of the day after dropping it off at 11:30 picked up around 5 do 5 1/2 hrs . I called them cause I had not heard anything and they said I had called earlier saying I will pick up later but my car had been ready for hrs. I want to give some props to Joey for his great customer service. He recognized an issue with my loyalty card and fixed it all without me even asking. I'm not a huge fan of the new system there (the actual wash is TERRIBLE, it's the hand detailing- read: HUMAN EFFORT- that makes it worth the expense). Joey, I hope your bosses appreciate your work Update: I have to modify my previous review. This place is now terrible. It's all about the express wash, they don't give a crap about the full service customers. They are constantly "closing it down "because they are supposedly full. I have a membership at Splash, and I drive thru probably 4-5 times a week. I have to acknowledge 2 employees at this location for excellent hard work and customer service. Skylar is a young man who always smiles and makes sure to spray the front AND the rear of my suv really well. The machine doesn't make great contact with the back of my suv, so it helps tremendously! When he works the gate, he is prompt and handles vehicles quickly. Tonight I met Joey, and I was extremely impressed. I was waiting at the membership gate for a few minutes. It would not open due to the gate being up at the pay window while the employee sorted out whatever was the issue taking time there. Joey saw me waiting and came from the wash to get my gate open so I could get through. I was very appreciative and thanked him, while having a short conversation. Both employees are hard workers and understand customer service. Great job, guys! read more

Horribly long wait to get car washed. Pulled up and was told it would be over an hour. I looked over and they didn't have that many cars there just not enough employees. This is a repeated problem and has begun happening even more since they were purchased. Seems they are trying to cut costs to increase revenue. I accidentally vacuumed up my key fob. I went to get assistance. Right away Two employees come to help, they checked the vacuum containers, but unfortunately we're unable to find it. Joey was very helpful and kind. He kept trying to find my key fob. He told me that they would continue to look for it once the car wash was closed and the vacuums we're shut down for the day. Joey took my name and number. I could tell he really cared about this. 6 hrs later at closing time. I received a phone call at 8:15 p. They said they found my key fob and it was here for me to pick up. I was so relieved and thankful to all who worked so hard to find it. Got a membership and then my daily wash.. it ruined my back right rim and didn't even air dry.. Tried to use vacuums and air gun to dry it, but the worker came up disconnected and took it away from us. He looked us straight in the eye and walked away. read more

I understand that they get busy so I go early before the rush in order to ensure that my beautiful new car gets the attention she deserves The car detailers work diligently and I am always thankful to give them a nice tip it's a tough job especially in the Hemet heat! I also bring a book to read just in case but never do I come expecting the full service to be the "express service". I come to this place often and normally I absolutely love my vehicle washed here. However, I don't know if there were new workers because today I got my car back not fully vacuumed, seats still un wiped, the interior interior was not fully cleaned it was a complete opposite of the norm. Mangers should look at vehicles before releasing them to the paying customers to assure vehicle has been properly detailed and cleaned. read more

Great value and great service. I definitely received this place. 10 out of 10 I'd come through daily if I could. *UPDATE* If you drive a car/sedan/suv/un altered jeep the above review is accurate. If you drive an altered jeep/truck this is not the wash for you. Had to sign a waiver for my pod lights(no issue I get it) then the guy (manager I assume as he was wearing a black polo) walks to the bed of my truck and I hear "he's not going to like this (with an expletive whispered in there) referring to my Jack that is bolted/locked to the bed. I had to show him the Jack does not move even with me yanking on it. Finally get through to the wash. I was honestly ready to go somewhere else at this point but they were nice and I always paid so no biggie. Get to the wash where the girl watched most of the interaction at the shack. She stops and stares at the truck, checks the bed and just stares. Asks me for my waiver that I happily show her. Last gripe has nothing to do with the business/employees. Some ding bat was blasting music and smoking pot in the vacuum area. Not the fault of the business so what ever. Final thoughts, if you drive an in modified car/truck 10/10. I have read several yelp reviews that were in the negative regarding the Splash Xpress car wash, but my experience has been absolutely fantastic when it comes to the staff. I would like to mention specific employees, but I think all together this group works real well together. I have been in line where the machine breaks down and the personnel were able to repair it in a timely manner reducing any kind of major downtime. I have used several different car wash companies that allow you to pay a monthly fee and I always come back to the express car wash I have been a customer since the place was built before the Xpress car wash addition and I can tell you there are still some of the same people working there and are always willing to help. Car wash refused to honor a staff-signed receipt for a pre-paid full car detailing that was given as a gift to an elderly neighbor. I had done the same "gift car wash" over a year ago without any problems. I reminded the staff and shift manager that since they took my $40 previously, state laws requires a product or service in return. They refused and blamed the new owner....who appears to be from the middle-east and doesn't want to respect California laws. Apparently, being a customer-friendly business isn't in the mindset of this car wash. Plan to take all my future business to Quick Quack down the street. read more

I went in on Monday, October 24, 2023 to wash my brand new 2024 Toyota Camry. After I exited the tunnel I parked to dry my vehicle. As I was drying my vehicle, to my surprise, I found my vehicle to be significantly damaged. There are deep scrapes on both sides of of the lower moulding in front end of my vehicle. The next day I filed an Incident Report and the owner reached out to me the following day 10-26-23. Today I received a phone call from the owner stating that my claim was denied because, "their car wash can only cause certain type of damages to vehicles". I requested video footage and he denied it due to privacy concerns with other customers. I asked for footage of my vehicle for he knows the exact time I entered and exited the wash tunnel. He denied it as well and stated that I need to go through my insurance. All in all it is very unfortunate and very poor business practice to not take responsibility for damages their establishment has caused to my vehicle. An $8 carwash has costed me about $250 in parts not including labor to have the parts replaced. If you have a new vehicle or any vehicle built like mine, BEWARE, this establishment is not designed or adapted for your vehicle. Every single employee always looks mad and unhappy. It really brings the morale down and I dnt even work there. Paid $28 to get my car cleaned by someone and it was not vacuumed under the seats and middle consol and dash was not cleaned. Prices are to high for the quality of work their people and machines do. My last two visits to this place have been a joke no organization whatsoever in other words the blind leading the blind. (Last visit they blocked me in and I had to wait an extra 15 minutes) Today I pulled in for my free car wash after accumulating the purchased washes and being told the previous visit that I could select any car wash to my pleasing. However today I was told by the first person who approached me (Anthony, who later claimed to be a manager) that I couldn't pick and that the majority of my stamps were the manager special (not always the case since we bring our 3 cars here). I turned in my stamp card and rechecked with the cashier who again claimed I could select any wash and even verified with another employee. I decided to let Anthony know what was being said upfront and he claimed to have walkie talkied up front since he was a manager and claimed no one had said what I claimed he declined walking up front with me to verify what was being said. Long story short for a manager you shouldn't be talking to customers if you are going to talk to them like we are interrupting your lunch (eating when I pulled in) or like you are upset at us. Anthony as I told you to your face you are a joke and cussing at customers is definitely not a good manager trait. Definitely time to find another place to get a car wash. read more

I'm so happy with the way my car wash turned out! My car was such a mess when I took it in. I'm so embarrassed to say this, but there was hair and fur in the carpet. Even the last car wash I went to could not get it out or didn't try hard enough. The windows were bad and spotted from the last car wash and I was so pissed off I wasn't going to go back to them so I went to Splash and it was like I had a complete detail on my car. I'm so grateful for the team that I had clean my car and I'm hoping to get them again next time. It was a man and woman team and they worked so wonderfully together, and were quick and thorough. Even when I got the car I had it detailed and the detailer couldn't get the fur out of my carpet all the way. This time I actually had to really look hard to see if there was any hair or fur left. I usually go to full-service car wash places. Since I'm new to the area, I hadn't had much time to research, but I desperately needed one of my seats shampooed. The first thing I'll say is, you get what you pay for. I received exactly what I thought I would from the wash itself. Some water spots, stuck bird poop. There's nothing special about the tunnel, this was expected. What wasn't expected was the lack of care from the full-service portion. I still left with bird poop (don't think it was a crazy clump or anything, but I could see it on my window) and water spots. Obviously, I won't be returning. It was quick and convenient, but not a thorough job. My interior wasn't any cleaner than when I arrived, but at least they vacuumed. read more

We paid $24 for the managers car wash. Was supposed to be detailed on the inside and didn't even come close. I clean it better myself when I do it, but we didn't want to do it ourselves this time. My dad recommended this place a few times. He even got a membership here. He mentioned it's $20 a month for a car wash membership. I got the most basic car wash just to try it out that was about $7. I wanted to see if I would like this place. There was nothing basic about wash. The car was left spotless and super clean. It even air dries your car. This place used to do an amazing job. But now the way they have their "full service" wash set up is horrible. You drive thru yourself and then sit in your car and wait and wait and wait. So your car drys in the sun for about 30 mins. You either leave your car running so you don't die from the heat or turn off your car which is of course better for it. And then they eventually get to it and do a mediocre job washing it. Masks seem optional for their employees. Save yourself and go to a real Full Service Car Wash. read more

Really disappointed with how they "cleaned" my car. The outside was fine but the inside was bad. I drive a Nissan Rogue & the back of my car wasn't even dusted off or wiped down. They vacuumed but didn't wipe down the dust. The cup holder of the backseat was completely ignored. The bottom of where the AC vents are wasn't wiped at all. There was just a lot of ( obvious) spots that they missed. I'm not gonna go back. For what I paid my car should of been properly detailed. Ended up finishing the work when I got home read more
