But.. sometimes you just can't.. and I needed sustenance. So today I set out and ordered some breakfast Acai bowls for my sister and I. Wow! From the first to the last bite, I was truly satisfied. Not only because it's been such a long time since I've had an Acai bowl, but it definitely was fresh and flavorful! I love toasted coconut and this just hit home. The fresh strawberries and blueberries were so good as well! If you're in the area and looking for something delicious, you have to stop by. I got a small Acai bowl, which I thought was going to be snack sized, but I was wrong. It was more than enough and filled me up. If you don't like Acai bowls you can get a smoothie. Still so delicious.

Their topping choices are also great, it's not too many choices but not too little. Either way, the acai is what makes or breaks the bowl, and they excel here. I've also tried a few of their smoothies, they are also good but what keeps me here is the acai bowl forsure! Service is quick and friendly, and the dining areas are usually clean. Plenty of parking as well.

When we arrived, the shopping center was extremely busy and all of the parking near Summerfield was taken. We parked along the brick wall in what appeared to be the same parking lot as the restaurant. There was nothing obvious to suggest that those spaces belonged to a separate apartment complex. The only warnings were a couple of small tow signs posted along the wall for about 18 parking spaces, and the main sign near the entrance was bent over and unreadable when driving in. We had no idea that section was private parking monitored by Quick Tow. We went inside, ordered food and drinks, and waited over 30 minutes for everything to be prepared. When we finally finished and walked back outside, our car was gone. After reading other reviews, I realized this isn't an isolated incident. It seems to happen to many people visiting this location. With how popular Summerfield is and how often customers end up parking there, I think the restaurant should at least post a clear warning telling customers not to park along that brick wall because vehicles will be towed. If they truly care about their customers, this seems like a simple step they could take. Instead, at 10:30 at night we were left stranded, had to take an Uber to another city to retrieve our car, wait while the paperwork was processed, and pay $640 to get it back--all in less than an hour after it had been towed. The whole situation felt incredibly predatory and sketchy. While the food itself wasn't bad, this experience completely overshadowed everything else. I won't be returning, and I strongly recommend that anyone visiting be extremely careful where they park. Avoid parking anywhere along that brick wall unless you're absolutely certain it's allowed.

The cafe itself is pretty wide with plenty of clean tables to sit at and very bright inside. We came in during a slow period but I'm sure it gets busier into the day!!! The coolest thing is that if you spend $15 at least, they give you a token for free for you to try out your crane machine skills!!! The service by the staff here were very good and to go to the bathroom, you have to ask them for a code. I was definitely hooked from their thai tea and matcha drink!!! What a crazy but delicious combination. I am SO glad that it was also nondairy. Having to pay extra to switch milks sometimes adds up so this being included in the drink was a huge plus. I felt like this was a perfect drink to accompany the night and we all also felt very satisfied with our orders. They have a rewards app/program too!!! I believe you can also customize your drinks with how sweet you wanted it.

SAC. On first glance, the young lady behind the counter appeared mildly stressed- So deeply transfixed crafting a quartet of decadent treats for the family arrayed at the table, that she at first appeared utterly unable/unwilling to acknowledge the presence of the grinning Panama-hatted fella striving to pick up his Uber customer's order. After all- We Uber drivers are rather spoiled, usta holding our phone aloft screen side out to elicit priority service for our time-bound pick ups amid any thronged restaurant lobby! But this Juugos staff member proved to be a beacon of shining responsibility- Wanting me to interface w/ my client since they were out of a handful of items needed to build one of his items. I APPRECIATE the pretty young lady's devotion to service and her craft!!! Yes- it may have added 8 or so extra minutes to my wait time but I guarantee you that my West Covina customers truly relished their quartet of icy cold refreshments! When I returned, post delivery, to sample my maiden Juugos order, I was drawn to the PEEZY P, both for its inventive, Motown inspired name¹ and its opulent cache of ingredients- Strawberries, bananas, oats, cinnamon, agave, vanilla protein plus almonds/almond milk. ¹ Peezy P originated from the streets of Detroit, a stand-in for "player." And lemme shout it with the same unabashed authority that Detroit's veey own Eminem would- This Peezy P, indeed, doesn't play! Ice cold hybrid of the fruit combines w/ the finely minced almonds and the mildly sweet vanilla/agave, kissed at the end with elegant cinnamon. A faaaaabulous refreshing drink...and the perfect way to culminate your work shift! Appearances wise, Juugos makes for a quiet, ethereal escape for frazzled Mt. SAC Mounties, its airy, polished interior and seating areas inviting you to unspool yourself, for a spell. My fare was $11.99, incl tip, for a large 24oz Peezy P and, fo shizzle, I'll be back to order more!
