The extra is so unique, it is reminiscent of Rice Krispies and make it so addicting and begging you to come back for more. They top each bowl with banana slices that are identical in width and enjoy the presentation is beautiful. Their smoothies are also delicious. My favorites have got to be either the guava goodness or guava guru, although I am surprised that for some of their smoothies, they do not allow you to order a small for some reason, which is quite disappointing. My siblings' favorite is their pineapple dream. Service (5/5): The servers are super kind despite being busy. To save time, I preordered on their website as they do not take phone orders. Although the online order mentioned a 15 wait time, my order of 2 smoothies and one original açaí bowl was ready in less than 10 minutes. Since my order was ready before my arrival, the servers placed my order in a fridge in the meantime, which was very thoughtful of them. Ambiance (4/5): There is minimal seating inside, but there is outdoor seating at the storefront which is very serene as there is a fountain nearby.

It's a good spot to end the night after a satisfying meal. I will say, it gets super busy and you might wait a minute for your drink. But that's expected. Taro slush, 9.5/10: Probably the best taro drink I've ever had. Gotta go no toppings. Watch the carbs. Not too sweet. It's perfectly smooth and creamy. The natural sweetness and subtle earthiness from the taro really comes through. I was actually surprised. The ice is blended very finely, but it's also not chunky. It seems simple, but hard to do right. Ngl, they did their thing with this one.

We ordered the Rainbow Tea and immediately noticed it looked much cloudier than usual. Because my daughter has a serious dairy allergy, we asked the worker MULTIPLE times if there was any milk or dairy in the drink. We were repeatedly assured it was completely dairy-free and that the different appearance was due to them changing syrups. Shortly after drinking it, my daughter suffered a severe allergic reaction that sent us to the ER for over 8 hours. Watching your child struggle to breathe and fearing for their life is something no parent should ever experience -- especially after specifically asking staff about allergens several times. What should have been a nice Mother's Day turned into one of the most traumatic days of my life. If your establishment is unsure about ingredients or cross-contamination, DO NOT confidently tell customers a drink is allergy-safe. Food allergies are not preferences -- they are life-threatening medical conditions. I truly hope management takes allergy training and ingredient transparency much more seriously moving forward.

SAC. On first glance, the young lady behind the counter appeared mildly stressed- So deeply transfixed crafting a quartet of decadent treats for the family arrayed at the table, that she at first appeared utterly unable/unwilling to acknowledge the presence of the grinning Panama-hatted fella striving to pick up his Uber customer's order. After all- We Uber drivers are rather spoiled, usta holding our phone aloft screen side out to elicit priority service for our time-bound pick ups amid any thronged restaurant lobby! But this Juugos staff member proved to be a beacon of shining responsibility- Wanting me to interface w/ my client since they were out of a handful of items needed to build one of his items. I APPRECIATE the pretty young lady's devotion to service and her craft!!! Yes- it may have added 8 or so extra minutes to my wait time but I guarantee you that my West Covina customers truly relished their quartet of icy cold refreshments! When I returned, post delivery, to sample my maiden Juugos order, I was drawn to the PEEZY P, both for its inventive, Motown inspired name¹ and its opulent cache of ingredients- Strawberries, bananas, oats, cinnamon, agave, vanilla protein plus almonds/almond milk. ¹ Peezy P originated from the streets of Detroit, a stand-in for "player." And lemme shout it with the same unabashed authority that Detroit's veey own Eminem would- This Peezy P, indeed, doesn't play! Ice cold hybrid of the fruit combines w/ the finely minced almonds and the mildly sweet vanilla/agave, kissed at the end with elegant cinnamon. A faaaaabulous refreshing drink...and the perfect way to culminate your work shift! Appearances wise, Juugos makes for a quiet, ethereal escape for frazzled Mt. SAC Mounties, its airy, polished interior and seating areas inviting you to unspool yourself, for a spell. My fare was $11.99, incl tip, for a large 24oz Peezy P and, fo shizzle, I'll be back to order more!

While the plaza has a fairly large parking lot, many people still take up their spots to eat at one of the many restaurants or shop at the supermarket. The café felt homey with a few wooden round tables and an afternoon soap opera playing the background. I had the almond milk tea ($4.50). They added a 3.78% credit card fee to my receipt, which came out to 17 cents. However, storekeeper did not disclose that surcharge. I didn't view that as financially responsible of the restaurant. Although I wasn't very familiar with the taste of almond milk, I thought that the drink was a little too sweet.

Inside, it is a small mom and pop with two tables with seats and the TV playing a random movie. The menu is homemade and left on the counter. I got the fruit tea for $5.25 small. I paid with credit card and apparently there was a surcharge but the lady never told me. That was a bit frustrating. When I told her my order, I had to repeat myself a few times too. The taste of the tea was good at least though a bit sweet. I could see her making it in front of me and it took her a while. I think she even did a taste test which made me feel a bit strange. Thankfully the tea was good.
