We love our local businesses but I gotta be honest...for the price i would expect a bit more focus on the details. Not expecting DETAILING but It's simply the details. Tell them and they will make it right but I would prefer not having to tell them. It's a great, family run business that is environmentally friendly too. The train in the lobby is still fun. Definitely worth it but the small things gives is a 4 out of 5. read more

I spent over $100 to have my car cleaned inside and out. When I went out to get it there was still mud/dirt on the door and on the quarter panel. I asked them to run it through again and was told if I want it detailed that's $300 and 3 hours. Really??? For $108 you can't get a clean car? read more

Paid for a hand wash expecting attention to detail, but they missed spots on the exterior, skipped polishing the wheels, and the interior cleaning was just okay. Not terrible, but definitely not worth the price. read more

Has predictably gone down hill since becoming Splash. Today was a new low. Having paid around $42 for their top wash they omitted to either open the trunk and clean the rear and did not shine the tires. When I asked them to complete the job they refused and pretended not to speak english even though the individual has spoken to me before. An unethical shoddy operation. Avoid at all costs. read more

I just left the car wash. My car is still filthy. What a complete waste of $45. Go somewhere else!!! read more

They are always fast and thorough. The nicest staff and never a long line when you arrive

Arrived at the car wash at 5:20 and was told to leave because they close at 6 and there wasn't enough time. There was one other car in line. Not sure what time I was supposed to show up to get my car washed if 40 minutes isn't enough. I was so frustrated at this point because I just wanted my car washed that I offered them $100 cash. I was still turned away. Went back another time (not anywhere close to closing time) and was turned away again. The employees completely disregarded us. I want the owner to see this because I own my own business and if my employees acted like this they would be fired. read more

Stopped in towards closing time on a Sunday. All of the guys here were so nice and kind. Car came out amazing and Enrique took incredible care of my car and my family. Thank you guys!! read more

Went to this car wash today. They were busy and rushed. They didn't even clean the windows, dashboard or car mats. When you get to the front of the line they mark your window with a letter denoting the service you want. I got "the works" and they put a T on my window. When they were, supposedly, done the T was still there and the windows were dirty. I finally noticed it as I was pulling out but by then it was too late to safely take the picture at the car wash. See the attached picture from later this afternoon. Not only was my car not cleaned but they pulled it off to the side, said it was all clean and went off to do other cars. The place they put my car and abandoning me made it impossible to get the workers to come back and finish the job. Since I was the only woman there and the only person treated like this I can't recommend this business to any other women. It seems like they assume we won't notice or complain. read more

Splash Car Wash - The letter they wrote on my window and never bothered to clean. - Car Wash Near Me - Westport, Connecticut

I'm sure they're very nice for a full service wash, but they do not offer an exterior-only wash, or anything less than $30, and this is not apparent until one is stuck in the single-lane queue. read more

Tried for first time. Seemed to provide a gentle and lengthy wash (ie, it didn't fly thru the wash tunnel in 5 seconds like some washes such as Wired in Fairfield or Russell Speeder's). No scratches, etc. Not sure if they use gentle chemicals, etc like many car washes do. Will try this place again. read more

Foremost, very friendly staff. Wait time is reasonable, most times. Quality had slipped significantly when splash took over and has improved recently. Last detailing was very good. Would love to see a few more seconds spent on interior over the course of regular washes. read more

Not a good value. You are met with a sales pitch and then find out a Full Service does not include cleaning the wheels. I had to wash them myself later at home. Too bad they get one star as a default... read more

Met with an annoying sales pitch and wouldn't stop! Paid for the max car wash and have my mats cleaned. I got a regular wash and they didn't clean my mats. To distracted on trying to sell me! I really miss the quality of the old Westport Wash and Wax! Would not recommend this car wash! read more

Best splash location of them all!!!! I moved to Greenwich from Westport and miss this place so much!!! The cos cob location is horrible, I go back to Westport just because of this place! They are quick, GOOD, worth the unlimited membership. read more

Splash ruins Westport Wash and Wax. It's really a shame that since Splash has purchased Westport Wash and wax it's been ruined. For years I was a loyal customer of Westport Wash and wax and they did a consistent great job. There are 2 things that are really bad about the new splash and I will now never go back. 1. I had my car detailed and when I got it back I noticed that a lever for the power seat had been knocked off. I went back immediately to see if they could find it in their vacuums. They immediately said they didn't do it and offered me a free wash. The problem was you can't get the part alone and you have to replace the entire unit which was $600!! I went back to talk to them about sharing in the costs when I found out how expensive it would be to replace and they said there was nothing they can do for me b/c they didn't do it. I rarely use this car and know for a fact it was in before I got it detailed. 2. There is a young African American guy who asks you what type of wash you want when you get there. Every time you go there he harasses you and try's to sell you a Monthly subscription service. I've said no thank you before and he keeps selling. Today I cut him of early in his pitch and said just a wash today please. Instead of just saying ok to me he confronted me and challenged if I knew even what he was selling. I said it didn't matter that I just wanted a wash and said thank you again. He kept trying to get me to hear what he had to say. I said no thank you. He then came up to me when I got out of the car and said that I was basically dumb for not purchasing what he was offering. Constituting to tell me how great of a deal his offer was. !!?? I will never ever go back. I will tell everyone I remember to about the experience. Sad that splash ruined a great company. read more

If you like spending over 40$ for "The Works" to then have to go home and wash the car yourself this is the place for you. They do a great job taking your money but a horrible job washing cars. My truck still had mud stains on the bottom of the car, the entire grille and hood were still full of bugs. They do a shit job cleaning your car. Like I said, if you don't mind having to wash your car immediately after they do then this place is for you. read more

First time here. Car looks fantastic. I will definitely be returning in hopes of getting a superior detail done. Only gave four stars, because I was hoping to have the cup holders and such cleaned. Not a deal breaker. Will update review once I get the car detailed I haven't gotten my car detailed yet, however, I did go back for a wash in an effort to get rid of any road dirt and grime before the rain this week/end. I had to ask the guys to dry the car off again. I also noticed that they did not vacuum the rear floor mats or under them. In addition, the wheels were not cleaned. I am still not giving them a bad review, because I called to inform them, and remaining true to their good customer service, they are going to rewash the car. They took my name, number and make of the car and told me to simply call before coming in. When I return, I will decide if I am going to entrust them to detail my baby. On another note, all of the employees seem pretty spectacular!!! read more

Here I sit yet again as they re-vacuum my car. Quality of service waaay down since Splash took over. Such a bummer.

If you own a tall vehicle like an SUV or Minivan and expect to drive away with your roof clean, don't count on it here. After paying $40 (including tip) on a non-busy Friday afternoon, I noticed two areas on my Minivan roof that were still dirty. I wet a finger, rubbed the dirty area and it came off easily. When I pointed this out to the attendant, he told me to get the car detailed. I suggested some cleaning spray and a rag could finish the job. He went to get the owner. The owner rushed past me without a greeting, glanced at the roof, then gruffly told me the car had been parked outside and I should make an appointment for detailing. When I showed him how the dirt came right off on my finger, he said, "Clean it yourself. I've had enough of you!". He abruptly turned and walked off. A clean car, common sense, customer service, courtesy and respect - none to be found here. (Regarding below Comment from Aly G. of Westport Wash & Wax. My expectations were the same as every customer - a clean car. This Westport Wash & Wax failed to deliver. Your attendant wouldn't wipe away what your equipment missed, and your owner refused to address the problem and was verbally rude and insulting. No quality work nor service to take pride in on this day. Posting a generic, cut-&-paste response doesn't change that nor make amends.) read more

Best detail ever! Took my 2013 BMW in and it came out like new. Amazing crew. Reasonable price, top quality.

The guys are very nice, but it is like they do that absolute bare minimum. I have detailed my car there before and it was alright, but the full service wash is a not worth it, feel ripped off. I have pictures but seems I am unable to add them on here. read more

Just had my truck "speed detailed" at Splashwith a fully satisfactory result. I had always enjoyed the owners and their team at this car wash, before the sale to Splash, and didn't expect to continue to receive first class service. Well, I was pleased with the work and glad that Enrique, the General Manager is still running the show. read more

The guys who you start out with doing the vacuuming are great, the wash gets most of the dirt but not bugs off but then you are at the mercy of the outside team. And it is a team that works on the drying, windows, tires et al. The emphasis for them is on speed not thoroughness. I thought the left side which you see from the outdoor bench looked good but when you get home, you find the right-side was not given the same attention. Not even sure the tires were done as they looked dull and not shined which you pay for in most of the washes including mine which was 3. So next time I will alert the team chief to my disappointment last time and see if they do better. So I suggest you pay attention as you may not get what you paid for. read more

The worst car wash experience I've ever had. I got "The Works"... When they were finished with my car it was filthy both inside and out. All matter of debris stuck to the outside. They didn't wash the mats, they did horrible job vacuuming, they left the outside not only filthy but soaking wet. When I brought these things to their attention they told me I needed to have them detail the vehicle!!! Detail??? They didn't even clean the car. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS. read more

Hit or miss. And ....it's a local business and you want to support local businesses but Chris G.'s review is spot on. The details -- it's always the details. I was there yesterday. My rear window, the front window, inside the doors -- dirty. I don't want to have to tell one of the guys to get the windows again, etc. I have to say that Splash in Wilton -- does a better job. read more

First time I tried and had a very bad experience. It was during the fall and I paid for the detailed service - when the car was ready there were many leaves in the front grid and they broke my seatbelt (don't ask me how they managed to do that). They did not vacum the trunk and i just found out 3 days later when I opened it to put my bags in it. read more

Great service - John David was super friendly helpful and knowledgeable- will definitely return

Just came from here and did not have a good experience. The outside of the car looks great but the interior cleaning leaves A LOT to be desired. If you are going to charge $24 for a cleaning, you better do more than just vacuum. My cupholders still had dirt/crumbs in them, my dashboard was still dusty. A spot of dirt on the center of the steering wheel was still there. Literally the only interior cleaning was a vacuum on the floors and carpet and I could do that myself at a gas station or with my family's shop vac. Really poor job. read more

I decided to give this car wash another go after not having been there for several years. The equipment looks great but the process is rushed and the work sloppy. They "forget" to vacuum my SUV's trunk and I have to clean the dashboard every time I leave. For $25, I would expect more! Not going back. read more

Comfortable seating, clean environment, solar panels to power building and wash machines, great express services for detailing and customer service is friendly too. I just moved next door to this Car wash and heard such great things about it from a neighbor that knows tons of people that go there and I had to show her what a poor job they did with my car. I was incredibly dissapointed. I got the ultimate package $35 which honestly with the job that was done I should have just gotten the $15 one and I would have expected what I actually got. The seats weren't even wiped down. The center console wasn't even touched or the cup holders, they didn't even try. I have a couple pens in the little area in front of the cup holders and usually car washes move it put it on the seat clean that up and it looks amazing, nope they just wanted to get my car out of there as quickly as possible. They weren't even busy there was only one other person there. There is still visibly a lot of dog hair on the Seats so that obviously wasn't vaccummed, I guess the "ultimate" package just gets you floors vaccummed and an outside wash. The car was done in under 10 mins so of course it wasn't going to be cleaned properly, I don't understand why they rushed through my car. I was very excited to have the car wash within walking distance but after today experience I'll have to find another place for our cars. The staff wasn't even courteous. Not happy at all. read more

Splash Car Wash - Car Wash Near Me - Westport, Connecticut

Washed my car yesterday, not the point of the price, the point of the service. The detailing was not even attempted at. With exception of a drivers seat. That is why it wasn't noticeable on the spot, besides dirty car is the owners attitude. Apparently I was the only one with a problem at of 385 cars. I don't have a problem, the problem is your business and your customer service. You been in Westport for a long time and you take it for granted. P.S I don't need a free car wash, I need what I payed for minus the attitude. read more

I usually come here every couple of weeks to get my car washed. Most times they do a pretty decent job and the staff are very friendly. Today was a completely different experience. When the car came out it was still covered in mud, bird poop, and other stains. I tried to point it out to the guys who were doing the drying, but they didn't seem to understand. One of them, took a sponge with some chemicals... that did remove a few of the stains but left horrible brown streaks all over my white car. They didn't even bother washing the bottom of the doors. I asked to speak to a manager. When the manager came out, the first words out of his mouth were "what's your problem?" That wasn't bad enough his explanation was that if I really wanted my car clean I needed to buy a detail. Rather than actually doing a decent job they were trying to upsell me on a hand detail job. Completely unacceptable! The manager was rude and simply walked away when I said I didn't want a detail. read more
