Finally someone was at the desk so spoke to them to be informed no one had spoken to them OR worked on my car for an hour and 20 min. Paid $175 to sit more time and finally get it done. Splash is local to me and easy to visit. They are OK. It is really hard to know when you're going to get a good wash at splash. They've been at this location for years and it is a "hand wash" operation with that means is occasionally the low spots on your car are missed and there was a big bumper dirt especially on the front to the back probably because the person washing didn't want to bend down that little extra the bit. However they do an excellent job with the massive vacuums sucking all the crap out of the rugs and in between the seats. they do a nice job when wipingdown the glass. For a few extra bucks so dress the tires and a bunch of other services that make the car look pretty. Whether it protects it or not is another story. Some friends have left the car there for longer details and they reported to me that it's a pretty decent job for the price. I think that in the ordinary wash, there is pressure to get the job done and sometimes things are missed. read more

I told the guy exactly what I wanted and he agreed that the "super interior" is what I needed. Each location is terrible. THEY DO NOT CLEAN THE INSIDE OF YOUR CAR. Fairfield and Greenwich locations are horrendous. They vacuum air for all of 2 mins. Cup holders actually look worse after they attempt to clean the inside. read more

Slow slow slow! Just finished a $32 wash. No detailing. It took 42 minutes from the time I pulled up with only three cars jnfront of me! Employees dragging their feet. Joking with each other and have full on group conversations with me and a handful of other customers just sitting there waiting. A complaint to one of them was responded to with "we are working as fast as we can" No you're not! That guy is smoking and watching a YouTube video and the other guy is standing in the tire lot next door talking to his friend while we sit here and watch. This is my regular car wash. We have 4 vehicles and I seem to be there about once a week with one car or another. I have the monthly pass for my truck which is always dirty and looks much nicer when clean. The staff are very nice and professional. Even in busy days they treat everyone with respect. I tend to get the wheels express which is a full exterior wash with interior vacuumed and windows. They also focus in the rims when washing and put the tire shine on at the end. The monthly pass is definitely worth it if you like a clean vehicle. You only need to drop in twice a month to break even and as long as you live in or near fairfield that is very easy to do. I have been a regular customer for many years and recommend them regularly. read more

Simple, rock in the brush they use preliminarily, hit with the power washer jet...there are many ways and I know for a fact that this large scratch was not in my car before the wash. The "full service wash" promises full vacuum and clean of the interior. All they do is haphazardly do a once over- call it a light dusting. They didn't even touch the Interior trunk of my hatchback. You can get a much better job at a much better price just about anywhere else. Oh, and they stole the change out of my car! Doesn't really seem worth getting fired over $1 in coins, but fair enough. I would give 0 stars is possible. After being an unlimited member for 8 years, I just cancelled my "membership". On a "good day" it usually takes 15-20 minutes to get my car washed. Yesterday it took 1 hour. The reason is that the manager decided to unload a freight truck with some metal beams, blocking the wash exit and thereby shutting the whole operation down during a peak time. Meanwhile everyone was stuck in the line to go through the wash and couldn't get out. I told the manager he should have scheduled the truck delivery for an off-hour time and he rudely told me he couldn't and that I didn't understand the car wash business. That may be true but I've been in transportation my whole life and I know how to schedule a truck delivery. It gets even more unbelievable. During this entire time I was parked next to the vacuum crew. You would think the manager would ask them to clean some cars while they were doing nothing else as a show of good customer service for the delay. But no, I was told I only paid for an exterior wash and that was that. Meanwhile the manager and his assistant kept themselves inside and never came out to apologize to their customers or offer any compensation for the huge delay. To top it all off I also witnessed an elderly customer complain about a dirty window to one of the workers. He was immediately set upon by 4-5 Splash employees who began intimidating him by yelling and threatening him. It was a very uncomfortable situation and I felt compelled to run inside and fetch the managers out of hiding to deescalate the situation before it became physical. This place is a scam. My AirPods that were in the center console were stolen. I noticed as soon as I got home and went to grab them (I know they were there because I had just left the gym and put them there, I also noticed my center console was all messed up like someone had rummaged through it). It's really hit or miss here. Some days my car is beautiful, others it's like they were sleeping when they were supposed to clean my car. I've been a splash customer for more than 10 years. I have used all of the Fairfield county shops. I understand how over whelming the workers can get with long lines, cold weather, etc. But what I do not understand is the lack of quality control for these shops. The worst I have witnessed is the Fairfield location. They simply do not care how your vehicle is washed. I'm constantly inspecting my cars making sure my tires are shined or dirt patches on fenders are wiped off and lately forgetting to dust my console areas. This is not how you run a business. This is not a charity wash. I'm paying almost $30.00 for a car wash and expect the bell and whistles when my car is done. I usually go here weekly and I've no issues in the past. Went today on a slower Monday morning expecting the same service only to get disappointed. I paid 30$ for the "works" car wash, to get my car back and continue to clean it myself. The whole front of my car was not even touched. Still covered in dirt and bugs. None of my door jams were wiped down and there was still bird droppings on my doors. The workers put no effort into even attempting to reach the bottom half of your car or the lower back and front bumpers. COVERED in dirt. The only positive outcome was the wheel bright, which doesn't require much effort. Rims were lightly touched if anything. I would expect a bad scrub from a machine car wash but hand washed you think they would actually scrub a little bit more. Next time I'll pay 6$ to get half as a good as a job as they did today at splash. I will never go back. read more

II want to splash today in Fairfield to get my wife's car washed paid $34 for "The Works" my car would not move on line safety feature so they had to shut down line they put seat belt on and then it went When it went through I noticed that the hot wax never came on when I asked they said could run through again or I get free wash which I took (not great but it worked.) When I saw the car in the light outside in the Towel area noticed a lot of dirt and smudges, Bugs, I decided to wait to see what happened. They did get some of it off but not a lot I all also noticed that the counsel inside between the seats was not washed at all still sticky Not impressed Maybe Sunday at noon not the right time The vacuum was pretty good I will try the free wash on a different day other than Sunday I its not much better I will not return and go back to the less expensive washes and run it through twice read more

I haven't used their service in years and thought that I would give them a try again. To my chagrin, the last encounter left my car just as dirty as it was before my arrival. The first visit was not so great, but one of the employees went out of his way to help me remove adhesive from the rear windows which are tinted. I have a coupe and it was almost one hundred degrees. Even though he left dirty fingerprints on the cloth--which I believe and hope will come out--I was more than willing to let it go. I had to shake my mats out while I was there because the vacuum job was sub-standard. The second time that I returned (1 week later)-- it seemed as if nothing was vacuumed, the exterior of the car was not even fully clean, and there was some brake dust on the wheels. I stupidly did not check before I left as I needed to head to the airport - Got the Superior Interior and they didn't even vacuum my back seat or trunk.
