I bought a vintage truck online from a reputable seller on a popular auction site. The truck ended up being not what was described and the seller enlisted ATX Autosport (local to me) to repair it. The list of items wrong was long and quite ambiguous. It ranged from "vibration under acceleration" to a massive fuel leak to a failing spark plug wire design and many items in between. I was in an interesting position, as the owner of a vehicle but not the client paying for it. I outlined all of the issues and Jason understood that I was looking to have a vehicle that was safe to drive my family around town in. With each step of repair, it required Jason to spend some time driving the vehicle to see what was fixed and what needed further attention. By no means was this a straightforward repair. It took a few months to complete all of the work. Through each step of the way, Jason provided updates that I would consider far above expectations. I felt like he didn't need to do this level of detail on his updates but it proved to me how well my truck was being cared for. Ultimately, the end of our relationship included a less than smooth vehicle transport to my new home, out of state. We had some hiccups getting the right carrier to move it and, again, Jason made it happen. He took extra time to make sure the vehicle was treated right and properly shipped out to me. I am very grateful for him and his team. In this new world of cutting corners and finding ways to pad your bottom line, I'm thankful to find people like Jason @ ATX Autosport. Their philosophy of working on cars like it's their own resonated throughout the entire time my Audi A5 was in their hands. I brought in my Audi A5 to get spacers installed and to investigate a strange road noise. Joe and Jason were extremely thorough with the diagnosis of the road noise. They attached wireless stethoscopes to each wheel to pinpoint exactly where the noise was coming from. Turns out I had some bad wheel bearings, and they needed to be replaced. Minus waiting on parts to be delivered, Joe and Jason finished work on my car in 2 days, documenting everything with photos and videos. Going above and beyond in communicating every single detail is what I feel sets ATX Autosport apart from the other shops in town. I knew exactly what was going on at any given moment. Jason was also kind enough to do concierge service to the dealership to get my expired inspection stickers replaced. Even if you don't need any work done, I highly suggest just stopping by the shop to look around and chat with Joe and Jason. I needed a new wheel because of this and the actual car dealer found that every lug nut on every wheel was loose and not properly up to STANDARD. I will continue to report this business until I am reimbursed for this. I had a 1200 dollar bill at the dealership after their poor service AND could have been in a serious accident as I had to pull over on the side of the highway from my car shaking so badly I couldn't drive it. I'd been to a couple places for estimates and they were quick to claim their shop could do it but would have to talk to "their guy" and get back to me. Obviously wraps weren't their specialty. Then, while asking around, Brightside got mentioned a couple times. I could tell immediately on the first consult and estimate with Alex and Evan, these guys are experts in the field. It was clear they knew the products and recommended PPF. It's more expensive but is so much more durable and lasts longer. Because it's harder to install, not everyone does it. Communication with the guys through the process was outstanding. Their customization artist even matched and cut the race stripe out of ppf instead of the cheap vinyl I'd brought. And most importantly the results are fire! I can't recommend these guys enough.

Mike and Adam made me feel right at home and explained exactly what they can do. Well to my delight they adjusted tires on rims and force balanced wheel/tires to run super smooth down the road. All my vibration is gone and the car tracks and steers wonderfully. Highly recommend this shop and their stall. As a gear head I was able to talk with Mike and Adam about my hot rod very comfortably and they were interested in things I had done. Again the work done was top notch. Terrible shop! I took my car in for an oil change and new brakes. They recommended a transfer case…read morefluid change and I approved that but shortly after I received a call stating they cracked the transfer case but they would only provide a temporary fix. They damaged my vehicle and now it needs a new transfer case for $6000. The owner Brent actually said to try a different shop that would do me right. I have spoken with two local repair shops and they both said it can only crack when over tightening the drain plug. One shop actually said they will no longer do business with Hill Country European anymore based on the way they handled this. The other shop was in disbelief they damaged my car but never took responsibility.
