Patio! Dog friendly! Another patio on the other side of building as well
Alexa S.

Top notch (delicious AND fresh) food, super friendly service from today's bartender/beertender/waitress (I wish I got her name! So sweet and cool.) and really cool ambiance. The music was excellent too! I should add the menu is extensive! This isn't your run of the mill 4 or 5 option Mediterranean restaurant. TONS of vegan and vegetarian options. I forgot the name but I ordered what was essentially the 'sampler' and it has sweet potatoe fries, crisp salad, hummus, falafel that was actually cooked right (!) and delicious, roasted garbanzo bean (so good) and incredible lamb. The beer selection is awesome too. They also have two kinds of fresh sangria to choose from. Just an overall rad spot! 10/10

If you're looking for some gooooood Mediterranean street food. Highly recommend. Let's start with the service, my husband and I came in the evening and the cashier was SUPERRRRR helpful and friendly! Didn't catch her name but she made the first time experience great. She had some good recommendations for food. I got Berliner Wrap and my husband got the Street Cart wrap with the three meats. We also tried the drinks on draft, glasses were cold and the beer and cider was cold as well. The sauces... recommend the zhoug and the tzatziki sauce, but you can try all the sauces if you're into that. Haha. The wraps are light but filling, great flavor, and most of all delicious. Fries were well seasoned, crispy and airy. Will return to try their gyro and bowls as well.

Had a great a experience here, my guy and I went right after universal because we felt a bit hungry and everything was amazing. We did forget who worked in the night but she was closing and she was so sweet. She had recommended things to try. She was very attentive and helpful.

This is a small resturant with a very small parking lot. Large menu salads wraps and bowls quinoa rice salad 3 types of meats You order at the counter and they deliver to your table. It was not my type of food a bit too earthy for me. But since the rest of the family loves it I will chalk it up to just a cuisine I did not like. Service was a five star place had good decoration. It was clean and price was reasonable. Just was not my thing

This place is a gem. I love their entire menu and unfortunately only took pictures of a fraction of the food that we ordered! Very tasty little details that make-up each dish and the meat is well seasoned with sauces to accompany it. If you are visiting Universal, I would make an effort to come here. Amazing food with great prices.

Great service. This place was empty when we got there but then people started rolling in! Seems like they might do more to go orders but damn this place was great! Food was awesome and already looking forward to the next time! The gyros are bomb! See y'all soon!

We stopped by here while waiting for an event nearby and had a positive experience. The colorful art, decor, and string lights created an inviting setting, with both indoor and outdoor tables available. We opted to sit at the bar, watching Friends playing on the large screen TV above, and sipping on a yummy cocktail and beer. The peach basil sangria was tasty and refreshing with the perfect level of sweetness. The skyduster italian pilsner was a good option on the menu too. Service was helpful and efficient at the counter, probably since there weren't very many customers on site.

Visiting LA and we were looking for some food that we could bring to Hollywood Bowl for a concert and found this place near the shuttle! Picked up the Street Cart Doner Wrap Combo Meal, it was delicious and was an easy meal to eat at the venue.

This place never disappoints. I come here for work lunches as it's perfectly inbetween the valley. Everything I've ordered has been fresh, crispy, and flavorful. I've had everything but the gyro plate is always my go to. The pitas are always warm and the sauce they have (Berliner sauce) is always a 15/10. There's a bunch of tables inside and a few on the outside. There's always plenty of street parking. All in all solid.

I used to pass by Spitz all the time when I worked in Studio City, but I never made it in. Recently, while driving down Ventura, I finally decided to give it a try. What originally caught my eye was the bright pink neon sign that's impossible to miss. Spitz specializes in Mediterranean and Greek food, which I love! I didn't have time to dine in, so I grabbed something to go; a wrap. I was surprised at how big it was, which worked out perfectly since I saved the rest for dinner. The wrap was packed with flavor! A mix of lamb, chicken, veggies, and a tasty spread; everything came together perfectly. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and they also have a bar if you want to sit and enjoy a drink.

I love all of these flavors together and the service is always friendly, however because their kitchen is small, your order may be a bit delayed , but I don't mind too much because I love the servers and the food, if you're in a hurry though, go early (5:00pm) and plan on a relaxed drink because of that small kitchen and homemade dishes the food prep can be delayed. Mantee's is a smaller restaurant, however, the atmosphere is very nice with inside and outside patio dining. If I bring my pup, the patio dining is perfect. It's a great place for medium size birthdays too and they have their own special Disney like Birthday Music they play to help you celebrate ( I always get a kick out of it). Parking is limited in back, but there is street parking and a strip mall across the street with parking. Do call and make a reservation though before you go. Then Enjoy

A new year always brings new opportunities with it, and I'm only shocked I hadn't thought to try this place sooner. The kindness and hospitality here felt pretty quickly apparent, as the person taking our order listened attentively and made some (very tasty) recommendations for both my partner and I. I settled on the Istanbul style Pita wrap with Beef Gyro meet and I don't think I've ever looked at something so lovingly before. The second I took a bite, the flavors told me a story that was whispered to my heart. I have fallen in love with new food for what seems the millionth time, but everytime I do, I find a new reason too. I think what I love most about this place, is that it never needs to tell you, that this is some of the tastiest food you will have today, it shows you through wonderful pairings and wonderful, human connection. I would give this place 6 stars if that was even possible. Cheers!

Overall the consensus is simple: The white meat chicken kabob, garlic sauce, fries and Gyros meat is top tier! - 5 stars Hummus and Pita bread- 3.5 stars Cucumber/Tomato salad - 2 stars Service: 1-3 stars. The food takes a really long time to receive once you have ordered. The first visit was 36 minutes. There was no warning from the girl. When I asked her what the reason was, she did the GenZ BS and gave me excuses, "oh it's cuz yours is the last order of the night" even though they are open until 2am and it was like 9pm. My second visit was much quicker and the gentleman behind the counter was much nicer. My food only took 19 mins that time which is much more acceptable. Overall, the Chicken kabob white meat and the gyros are worth the wait, even if the wait is too long and they piss you off. But don't go here when you're in a hurry or if you show up and there are a lot of people already waiting, maybe come back a different day.

It was tender with the fat fully rendered. The pita bread was pillowy soft amd fresh, but still had structure to hold everything together. - Fried Cauliflower: 4/5 The spice blend fits the cauliflower profile and the texture was great. The staff was hustling, non-stop, but still took the time to engage when I was ordering, answering questions and providing suggestions. It made the overall meal better and was appreciated. The location was noticeably clean, from the table tops to the floors. It made it inviting when we walked in. It is a bit of a drive, but I will find a reason to return...soon.

I love Amir's Falafel!…read more I've lived in Studio City for 17 years, and I've always gone to Amir's when I've had the craving for falafel or Shawarma. Located on the corner of Ventura and Colfax, Amir's has fantastic meat on a spit and Israeli salads. I love their carrot salad, their smoked eggplant, and their tomato and cucumber salad. Meats are well seasoned, juicy, and the portions are generous. Their falafel balls are well seasoned, and their hummus has a texture that I really enjoy -- it's got a tiny bit of grit to it instead of being perfectly smooth. I lived in Israel when I was in college, and I find their food to be very authentic to what I used to eat on Ben Yehuda Street. The parking lot can get a little crowded, but it's free parking, which is a plus. Service is friendly and pretty quick!
